If you’re looking for a coastal escape with a real wow factor, By The Oceanside on the North Devon coast couldn’t be any closer to the sea
Set on the rocky edge where land meets sea, this stylish apartment (with lift) boasts a large balcony with spectacular views of the ocean, and is perfect for romantic coastal breaks and families wanting to be near the sand and sea
Situated away the crowds and offering a sense of seclusion, yet a 2min stroll to Ilfracombe’s picture postcard natural harbour
The space:
Relax outside on the large private balcony while watching the boats far out to sea, or see if you can catch a glimpse of dolphins. Fancy stretching your legs? Take a walk along the famous South West Coastal Path, Britain’s longest long-distance footpath, which can be accessed directly from the front door. For something less energetic, simply stroll into Ilfracombe’ picturesque harbour and watch the boats from a quayside tearoom and where boat trips leave regularly for fishing and to the popular nature reserve of Lundy Island.
Within a few minutes’ walk are stunning beaches and coves, including the famous Tunnels Beaches and Ilfracombe’s best restaurants, traditional pubs, cafes, wine bars and independent shops and galleries.
The stunning beaches at Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe are within a short drive.

Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. This stunning airy space is framed by a picture bay window with panoramic sea views and access onto the balcony.
Well equipped kitchen with double electric oven, gas hob and extractor fan, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, toaster and kettle.
2 bedrooms, master with en-suite and views high over Ilfracombe town and twin room with sea views. Luxury main bathroom with bath with shower over.

Full width balcony with uninterrupted sea views and outdoor table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a drink or eating alfresco on warm evenings taking in the dramatic views.
Guest access
Second floor apartment accessed by entry phone. A few steps lead to the building’s entrance, with the apartment itself accessible by either lift or stairs.
You'll have access to the entire property, including the large private balcony overlooking the ocean with seating area.

- Public EV Chargers available within 5 minutes walk of property.
- All towels and linen provided. Can be changed mid-way on 2 week breaks if required.
- Hairdryer, iron, ironing board, high chair and travel cot provided.
