Excellent location on tranquil lake-close to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and Mackinac Island. Beautiful home with plenty of space for the 16 family members that stayed here. Loons and mink and geese greeted us every morning.

Wonderful hosts that were responsive and very nice! Check-in and using the property was perfect. The house and location is wonderful. The morning sunrises over the lake were incredible and beautiful. We brought our boat and you can’t ask for easier to walk out the backyard and be on the water in literally a minute. We loved going to Torch and Elk lakes and of course being on Skegemog. The home is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Perfect for our family. So much to do in the area and we had a great week.

An absolutely beautiful house, right on Lake Skegemog. Extra perks included kayaks, SUP boards, water mat and floats-all of which we used. We even rented a boat and were able to keep it at the house’s personal dock. The inside of the house is beautiful, plenty of space for everyone. Another perk is plenty of bath and beach towels…and laundry. I highly recommend Twin Palms for your next family getaway.

We loved this house - no notes!! The back deck and fire pit were amazing, the view was stunning, the bedrooms were well-stocked and fit us all comfortably - couldn't ask for more. Would love to come back.

Perfect getaway house for a large group, we absolutely loved staying there. You can fit multiple families in this house very comfortably. The location is perfect for those looking to venture around Traverse City. This house comes with all of the amenities you’d want in a trip to the lake.

All of us (14 adults and 3 children) rated “Twin Palms” exceptional in every way…. Very well stocked; comfortable and clean throughout; beautifully located with plenty of water toys, beach towels, chairs; and great communication with owners throughout. We hope to return in the future!

Beautiful!

We stayed here after we did a running relay with friends and family. It was a great house for lots of people and being right on the lake was fantastic! The house is well stocked and so beautiful. We had such a great trip!

Great location for all desires

The house and property were well equipped for outdoor sports and making yummy family meals. Had plenty of space to relax and on the flip come together and play family games. We were able to enjoy all the waters from our boat docked right at the house. Lastly quiet place to stay and yet close enough to sight see around the area.

Great Family Location

This property was set up for several families to enjoy a perfect vacation together. There were plenty of activities to do on the property and because of location, we were able to enjoy the area, like hiking, atv/razor trails, kayaking, swimming..... Kitchen had plenty of space for multiple families to prepare meals. Seeing Bald Eagles during the day and hearing the Loons at night was the cherry on top.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at this Lake Skegemog home and would happily stay here again. We had three families (6 adults and 7 kids) staying together, and the house accommodated everyone comfortably without ever feeling crowded.The home is exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals, there were plenty of games to keep the kids entertained, and the outdoor amenities were fantastic. The two kayaks, two stand-up paddleboards, and large lily pad provided hours of fun on the lake.Our favorite gathering space was the beautiful two-story great room with its stunning lake views. We also spent a lot of time on the spacious back deck overlooking the yard and fire pit—perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. The dock was ideal for swimming and easily accommodated the pontoon boat we rented for the week.The owners were incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions we had throughout our stay, which made everything seamless.The location is another huge plus. It’s peaceful while still being conveniently close to Traverse City, Elk Rapids, and grocery stores in Williamsburg, making it easy to explore the area or pick up anything we needed.Overall, this an incredible vacation rental and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly lake getaway.

Exceptional Property

We have already booked to come back in 2023. The house was PERFECT for our group of 14. Well equipped and spacious, inside and out. The location on the lake is beautiful with a small beach and clean dock area to float in the water for hours on end. The toughest choice we had to make was which sandbar to hangout on.

Awesome place! Great for families

We loved our time at the Twin Palms! We have done many rentals and it was one of the cleanest places that we have stayed at. They also have VERY well stocked kitchen and great amenities around the house. The paddle boards and kayaks were great to be able to use. Owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. Neighbors next door were very friendly. There was swimmers itch while we were there; bring baby oil to put on before going in the water and spray off when you get out!

The house is very pretty, spacious and worked out great for our family vacation. It has plenty of towels, silverware, dishes etc…. Very well Supplied with whatever you need. Hosts were awesome as far as getting back to you with any questions or recommendations. The house shows some wear like any rental home but that is about the only thing I could say wrong. We would definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our time at Twin Palm. We had access to 3 lakes. We felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. The home accommodated 4 families. The host was great about answering all of our questions. The house had all the lake toys needed like kayaks and paddle boards. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean and tidy. There were games to use and plenty of kitchen items and towels! We loved using the Blackstone to cook. The hosts were quick to answer questions, very responsive.
