Lots of steps

Beautiful home but beware of the many steps if you have trouble with stairs. Also quite a walk to the beach

Great week at Reel Addiction

Everything we hoped for and more. One of our best vacations ever. Greal living space, fantastic pool and hot tub set up. Steps to combat Covid 19 made us feel very secure. Bike and Chair rental process was outstanding.

Nice and quiet place

Great place for those who love peace and quiet. Not very touristy, specially off season. I would recommend this place for younger people, not for seniors. Kitchen and leaving room on top floor, path to the beach was a challenge for my father in law. General Dollar store near for basic groceries, 15 min drive to Food Lion in Avon. We had a great and beautiful weather first week of October.

Great Place.

Great experience. 2 complaints/suggestions if you are considering this house or the area in general that I wish I had known. #1) NOTHING comes in the house. No soap, no towels, sheets if you pay for them, no toilet paper, no trash bags. Nothing. Bring your own. I do not believe this was clearly explained and was a big pain. #2) If you're not familiar with this part of the outer banks, there is a very large sand dunes area between the "oceanfront" homes and the actual beach. If you are physically limited, elderly, out of shape, big families etc. You will be wiped out just trekking to beach even if you are Oceanfront. Again, this not specific to this house, it's the entire area, just be aware.

We do leave a welcome bag on the kitchen counter that includes a trash bag, a roll of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, some soap and detergent to get guests through their first day. We do apologize if this was not clearly explained by our team and hope to welcome you back to the Island again soon!

Outerbanks Dreamhouse

This was a really lovely, updated house with a lot of modern amenities (plenty of bedside chargers!). The dunes made the walk to the beach a little more difficult than expected, but it's also part of the charm - once you are at the beach, you cannot see the houses because of their height, so you feel like you are at an undeveloped beach away from it all! It was a perfect size for two families. The pool and game room kept kids occupied when not at the beach too!
