Welcome to our Butchertown apartment! We love our place and hope you will too! Guests will love the natural light, bright colors and warmth of this beautiful living space! An entryway leads you up a set of stairs to second story aparment! The kitchen is modern with black granite counter tops, white subway tile and all stainless steel appliances... It is fully equipped with everything our guests need to live at their “home away from home!” Relax in the modern master bathroom complete with a luxurious rain shower! The living room is a “happy place!” It is cheerful, bright and full of natural sunlight that pours in from the large windows in the second floor living room! You will find a Smart TV with Spectrum cable and Hulu where you can stream all of your apps! The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, a large armoire for clothing, and an additional chest for extra storage. Washer and dryer are located off the kitchen for our guests convenience! We have recently added a desk to the apartment to allow our remote workers to have a great place to work from home!
Our outdoor living area is set up to allow for grilling, outdoor dining, wine or cocktails around our fire pit or just sitting outside relaxing with your favorite book!
Our private back parking lot is large and allows for guests to come and go easily avoiding any street parking!

!Wonderful stay in a very nicely appointed walk-up!

This apartment had all of the amenities we could have asked for and more. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there and we would definitely consider it again if our travel brought us back to town. We were able to walk to Hadley Pottery, several restaurants and a farmer's market. It was convenient driving distance to the Science Center, Kentucky Expo and Louisville Zoo. A note for future stays: Hadley Pottery is only open for tours of the factory Mon-Thurs. the rest of the week the retail shop is open but no tours, Butchertown Market is a neat store with lots of different vendors available including high quality chocolates, the pizza shop just down the alley has great pizza and carryout is simple. The apartment welcomed us with wine and chocolate (from Butchertown Market) and everything was very clean. If traveling with small children (we had a 1 yr old with us) I would encourage visitors to bring a baby gate as the stairs are very steep and there is no door at the top of them, it opens right into the apartment. Overall, we really enjoyed the quality of our stay and were able to spend time being together as a family and not worry about anything else. We did not get a chance to take out the bikes that are available for guests but next time we certainly will! There is a lovely patio area for enjoying the evening with a small fire ring. Highly recommend!
