Loved it

Beautiful property on a beautiful beach. The Keurig and grill didn't work for us but those were small matters when considering the house, which was amazing, and the access to the beach which was beyond words

AMAZING HOME

This home is AMAZING!! It was better than we expected. We held our wedding ceremony and reception here. Our kids and grandkids stayed here with us. Five families and every family had their own bedroom and bathroom. I highly recommend this beautiful beach home.

What a view!!!

Our stay was fantastic! The house was clean and absolutely beautiful. We had paid for the pool to be heated and when we got there it was freezing. The next morning they had someone fixing it right away. Excellent responsiveness and communication. Would highly recommend staying bere and we will absolutely stay again!

Wonderful On-the-Beach home for a week.

This beautiful home served as home-base for a week of spending time with the family - extended family. Four grown children with their families came and went during the week. There were 19 of us there at one point. There was plenty of room, both inside and outside. Plenty of bedrooms and privacy when needed, plenty of gathering areas when needed. The access to the beach couldn't be better. It was great to come and go. Head into the house for food or drinks and right back at the beach. The top-floor balcony has amazing views and space. We had a "Hibachi at home" dinner with the family - it was a blast.

Awesome Beach Access

The home was perfect for our large group. Beds and bedding was all very comfortable. Access to the beach was steps from the back door, which is great when you have kiddos. The beach is pretty busy as the home is next to public access but it did not change how much time we spent out there. Management was very responsive with any questions we had. I feel like we would text and receive an answer within minutes. Check in and check out process was very simple, I wish check out could have been later by an hour or two. 9:00 am is a bit early with a group of 16 getting out the door. We would recommend this home for a large group.

Has potential, needs some maintenance

The space of the house is adequate for our 20 person party, but the main level bed/bath was pretty beat up. All the restrooms needed a nice deep cleaning, showers, baseboards, walls, etc. Overall exterior was filthy. Rust, molding build up and bird poop all over the floor to ceiling windows along with a deep, thick haze. Pool liner was literally black along the edge and could have been cleaned simply with a Mr Clean eraser and there was a softball size hole in the liner so you couldn’t fill the pool up where it should have been because any movement of the water leaked out. Door handles to the patio overlooking the road literally fell off when we opened the door. Beach wasn’t private, next to public access, you were fighting to get past literally 100 people to get to the shoreline from the rental space. They provide 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas from the beach service at the water line that are set up for you every day. Kitchen had all supplies for full dinners, breakfast, and there are 2 refrigerators within the kitchen. Beds are firm. There were 2 additional fans in the space beyond ceiling fans. Don’t forget to take out the trash bins on the 2 designated days while you are there.

Best Birthday Party Ever

We rented this home for my daughters 13th birthday and it was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the 2nd fridge in the laundry room was amazing! The heated pool was great for the kids to go for a quick swim! The roof top deck was out of this world! We actually brought our own projector and inflatable screen and had a rooftop movie night!

Christmas in Destin

Beautiful house but didn’t like that it wasn’t cleaned when we got there, someone else used soda was left in living room. The showers have mildew in them and the golf cart didn’t work and the pool was very small didn’t use. Door code didn’t work when we arrived and the main house only comes with 5 bedrooms the other 2 are in a separate house. The positive was the house has good bones and the most amazing view and is located in the middle of everything, stores, restaurant and not to far from expressway. We enjoyed our self after a couple of kinks. Right on beach and the three balconies were amazing.

Location! Location! Location!

Our family and I stayed a few nights here. The location is perfect. Property was clean and ready when we arrived. Unfortunately, we had paid to have the pool heated, but learned that from the property management company that it was broken after we arrived. They refunded us the fee, but we weren’t able to use the pool. Overall, our stay was great, but a couple of things to help make for a great experience for future renters: 1. swimming pool is super small and deceiving in pics. It’s only about 5-6 wide. 2. The outdoor furniture is in bad condition. Cushions are torn and the wood chairs have seen better days. I would definitely recommend the owners spend some money and replace those items this off season. 3. We found hair on a lot of the towels. The towels were clean, but hair was stuck to them most likely from the dryer. I know we all have that issue with our own towels at home, but it’s your hair. When staying at a rental….yeah. Again, overall a great stay at a great property. It just needs a little attention.

My stay Destin

Location was perfect.. description of the house and property fairly/sorta accurate. The pool was in below average shape. Only got in one time, Peeling cracking debris, black gunk ( not leaves) in the bottom every single day .. felt unclean. The house was nice although a tad lacking in upkeep. Air condition worked perfect. Example. Nails sticking up high enough to trip on sidewalk. Tape holding flooring trim down , furniture holding down the tape when we arrived. Large wasp nest under outdoor chair. Plumbing was lacking 3 toilets flushed only occasionally plungers at every bathroom used them daily. Rust, broken corners, broken boards throughout throughout. Kitchen stove peeling cracking. Window painted shut on 3rd floor. Leaks into the house every time it rained. Felt like an average motel room, Not a vacation home where an owner would stay. Again location and the beach were perfect. Would stay here again. The feedback is only to describe the actual conditions, not to be rude. Maintenance was very quick to respond . Unexpected to have a cleaner show up on a Saturday late evening with tools to clean the pool I think. Walked in with no warning or notice( was not requested) Not sure what he did, if it was the pool it looked the same afterwards Was glad that food items left would be donated to goodwill. (texted questions were answered very fast) For the price in comparison to other beach Vrbo we have stayed at in other locations I was a tad disappointed

"ALMOST THERE" was a dreamy home!

Overall it was beautiful! There were some small cosmetic things that need fixed...we wish when you have a house on the beach the deck rails did not obstruct your ocean view. There were 22 people that stayed at the house and the space was awesome. Yes, they could use a cookie sheet and 9×13 pan...our jacuzzi tub in the master suite leaked through a vent in the downstairs living room, so I got into trouble with my husband! All in all this house made some of the best memories this family of 22 will ever have!

You receive every pennys worth

Sweeping..its huge! Hardwood floors are gorgeous and each bedroom was large and open. 17 of us stayed and there was plenty of room. Could use more than one washer/dryer/dishwasher but that was my only quitique. Would be happy to stay again in the future.

Wonderful vacation despite a few areas of improvement

First off the house is perfectly located, right on the beach but still just a quick trip to the store and other shopping. It has a gorgeous view of the beach and was very spacious. The house it’s self needs updating, drawers were rusty and did not want to open, appliances broken, and truly was one of the worst stocked VRBOs I’ve stayed in. There were some minor cleanliness issues as well. If you are staying with young children or anyone with a walking difficulty it should be noted that there is a small step up from the kitchen to dinning area and again from dinning area to living room that caused more than one tumble. Even with these “inconveniences” we enjoyed our stay overall.

Great!

We really enjoyed the property, large extended family gathering and was perfect for all age groups. The only comments I have are the wifi was not good at all (was trying not to work anyway), and a few of the windows leaked when it rained. Might invest in a better selection of cookware. Would love to go back!

Beautiful house!

We were a large group of girls on the trip and we really don’t have complaints! Everything was really nice! Being right on the beach made the trip so much better for us! The only real problem we had is that they offered us an extra night and we didn’t want to go a night early, but we did want an early check in. I called a few times and they gave me the run around and wouldn’t give me a direct answer just, “we don’t really do that but we’ll check and get back with you.” No one would ever get back with me and we weren’t allowed entry until the check in time! Which I totally understand that’s their policy, but it would have been nice if they just said definitely not allowed in before or gave us some kind of option at any point for an early check in. Aside from that the house was nice and we had a great time! I may definitely book again in the future!
