We are really pleased that you enjoyed the beautiful setting, the pool and pizza oven, and most importantly that overall you had such a lovely holiday. It was particularly nice to read that you described the stay as phenomenal and that you would return. We were sorry to hear that you found the mattresses too firm. We haven’t generally had problems reported regarding the beds, although we do appreciate that mattress comfort can be very personal. We will certainly pass your comments on to the owner and ask them to check the mattresses. With regard to the furnishings, Casa Eli is a traditional Tuscan country property and the furniture and décor are deliberately quite rustic and traditional in style rather than contemporary. We do try to show the character and style of the house as clearly as possible in the photographs on our website, although of course we completely appreciate that décor is very much a matter of personal taste. Apologies re lack of fans. Had we known about this during your stay we would of course have arranged additional fans for you straight away. That said, we appreciate that, particularly during a spell of very hot weather, this is something that should have been anticipated and additional fans made available without you needing to ask. We are sorry a small section of the road is sometimes bumpy - the council are due to sort this out and in the meantime the owner flattens it himself regularly, but sometimes when it rains it needs doing straight away.
