We are sorry you were so unlucky with the storm affecting the water system and that it took a while to sort out - we do usually try for a 24 hour turnaround with any problems so 36 was alot of us...The other maintenance issues you mention have been sorted out, and thank you for letting us know about them when you were there so they could be rectified for subsequent guests. Glad you loved the house and the area and those stunning views! We hope you got to do some sightseeing too in this wonderful location . Trust also that the other really good restaurants in the area made up for the local one which does tend to get mixed reviews. It is a real shame since it is rare to find somewhere here where the food is not excellent. It is good to hear you would look to stay again, and we would be happy to welcome you . Thank you for your review. We are glad you had a great stay! Re the pool, it was actually cleaned every 3 days, but this was done early in the mornings while guests were sleeping. We do have a problem with the top border of the pool (above the water) since we had to remove the 'border stickers' and it left a type of staining we cannot get rid of,, which looks dirty, but is in fact clean. Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you were unhappy with the pricing policy but I am afraid with a villa rental one pays for the entire villa whether there are 2 or 7 of you. We do have plenty of places for 2 guests only that would have been priced differently. The price was of course clear upon booking. We regularly let to groups of 6 or 7 without space issue. We are sorry there was alot of country strimming going on - the area is very rural in the mountains (NB for future guests there are plenty of restaurants reachable by car) and with the drought all land owners were asked to clean their land/cut vegetation as a matter of urgency to prevent risk of fire so there will have been lots of land care all going on at the same time. If you had mentioned that you were missing any items the property manager would have brought them immediately - that is what she is there for . We have just done a double check and see there is loads of cutlery (drawer under oven - maybe you missed it ) but that it looks like we need more cereal bowls (the ones there are too large) and more tumblers (13 wine glasses unfortunately don't make up for this!) and possibly some more side plates - we will update immediately. NB for future guests whilst this is a very rural area and you can only walk to one restaurant there are plenty of restaurants within a 15 minute drive and some closer. Thank you for your 4 star review, and we are glad you had a great fortnight! We hope you explored the area too with the benefit of our information pack. I dont really understand the comment re the shower, since there are 2 shower rooms with proper showers and there is also a handheld shower on the bath. Thank you also for your feedback re items missing - do please e mail separately if there was anything else missing so we can ensure that they are provided for future guests. Giovanna, the property manager is available 24 hours per day and would have brought along anything needed at the time, since we would not expect you to have to shop for anything! Giovanna no longer greets guests on arrival, or make a specific time to visit, since we have found over the years that most guests prefer to let themselves in and start to relax immediately, knowing help is a phone call away if required ..... This is why your pre information pack suggests you register with her via Whatsapp or via text to make initial contact and so she can assist with anything at all . We understand Giovanna met you when she came up to clean the pool. Thank you for your comments re the dining table - this has been passed on and will be addressed. Finally, sincere apologies that you had to remind us re the mid stay change of linen and grass cutting etc. This is usually done every week as a matter of course, but for some reason Giovanna ommitted this from her list for that week and sends her apologies .
