Carpinteria stay

Great property in the heart of Carpinteria. It is walking distance from coffee shops and restaurants in the area. The beach is literally down the street.

Excellent place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property, it was nicely appointed and felt brand new. The shower head was great and the location couldn't have been better. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome place!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfy and the location is great. Super close to great restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again.

Beach trip

Wonderful location, fabulous property and gorgeous remodel. Super comfy beds, beautiful shower. Best location will definitely book again loved walking distance to everything !!!

Best place to stay in Carp

Place was immaculate. Easy easy walk to beach & restaurants. Responsive and accommodating host. Will definitely be our go-to place next time we’re in Carp!

UCSB graduation option

This was an immaculate 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, the decor modern and clean, and the location was great. Just blocks from the beach. We only stayed three nights, but I would definitely come back and stay longer if I the opportunity arises.

Location

Loved how close we were to Linden ave. The worker bee cafe had the best breakfast and it was a block and a half away. Walking to the beach was nice to. Would of been nice to be made aware of the tar on the beach and ways to remove it but not a deal breaker.

Beautiful property

The communication from the hosts was great! Their property was top notch all the way. Everything was exactly as pictured, brand new and clean with quality furniture, linens and kitchen amenities. It was such a gem to find this place!!

Beautiful place and walkable to everything!

The place was beautifully remodeled, very clean and very well equipped. It went beyond our expectations. Very walkable! We walked to the beach, boardwalk, cute bungalows, breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping, bank, ice cream and the candy store. Leah and her husband were great and very responsive. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Relaxing family weekend

The property was just as pictured. Everything was clean and well equipped. Leah was great... we had a problem with the coffee maker and she came to the property in 10 minutes and resolved the problem. We had a great stay. Close to the beach, great restaurants and breweries. This will be our go-to property this summer for all our weekend getaways!

Dream Stay

The location and size of this property was wonderful. Quiet, spacious and secure/safe for my two toddlers, and we never once had to drive the car all weekend. Very clean, everything felt new, most everything supplied. We will definitely be returning again and again. Leah the manager was great and friendly too. I noticed another reviewer said the sofa needed replacing. The sofa was one of our favorite parts of the property actually, nice design and very comfortable and we couldn't imagine anyone taking issue with it (it seemed new so maybe it's since been replaced).

Clean, comfy, best location

We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s great! The unit is clean and comfortable. The towels are plentiful and big and fluffy. The kitchen is well-stocked. I LOVE the location — within easy walking distance to all the local restaurants AND to the beach. The building feels safe, and parking is super easy. We bring our own beach wagon, but I noticed the unit provides one in the closet! Such nice touches. This place might not be the best for someone who likes to sleep in late. The dance studio next door can play its music loud, and like any unit in a shared building, noise depends on your neighbors. :)

Great place! Assigned wrong unit

This is a beautiful location and small quaint unit. Clean and well maintained. Our issue was with check in. I booked unit A and had confirmation. The property management double booked unit A and ended up switching us to unit B the day we checked in after the check in time. We needed to call the management for the code after disturbing the renters in unit A. This caused us to move in later then the check in time. This caused great confusion. On the bright side, The management answered when I called and resolved the issues.

Great place and location... be prepared for poor internet - this could be a good thing!

This property was excellent. It was clean, well furnished, well maintained and close to the main street in Carpinteria. We would definitely come back! We loved being able to walk everywhere (beach, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery). The property owner was quick to respond (although could not do much as the problem was with the internet provider) when we asked a question/had an issue. That said, this property uses cox internet and during our 5 day stay, the internet was out about 50% of the time. If you are staying at this property, and need the internet because you are working "remotely", make plans for a wifi hotspot or to use your phone as a wifi hotspot. I am not sure what internet options are available for this property but the cox internet was very poor (yes even did modem/router reboots).

In 2006 we completely renovated, down to the framework, our property which was originally built in the 1940's as a 4-unit apartment building with attached retail space. One- and two-bedroom guest suites have been offered since Summer of 2007.
