Snowbird Season runs from November thru February, on a monthly basis. To prepare a qualified quote, select your arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and the departure date (must be the 1st day of the month). Alternate dates must be pre-approved. Calypso 2-2304W is an updated 3BR/2BA BEACHFRONT Penthouse, beautifully decorated with colorful coastal decor and lovely furnishings! You 'll be in the perfect location right beside Pier Park, so you can enjoy a vacation that is as relaxing or exciting as you want! This 23rd floor condo boasts a lovely kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, updated flooring, and endless views throughout. Also, HBO is included in the TV cable package! With a king bed in the master, a queen bed in the first guest room, and a twin over full in the second guest room this beachfront condo sleeps 7 guests comfortably. Have your morning coffee on the Gulf Front balcony with endless views of sugar white sands and emerald waters!

In the heart of Panama City Beach, Calypso Resort features TWO beachfront 23-story towers. The resort includes 2 large beachfront pools (seasonally heated), surrounded by a patio studded with palm trees, chaises, and tables where you can enjoy a snack or a game of cards while listening to the surf lap onto the sugar-white sands. There’s even a tiki bar in season, so you can enjoy a piña colada after your swim. And if swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, or windsurfing in the Gulf isn’t enough exercise for you, the complex also has a fitness center!

Dillard’s, JCPenney, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Target, Forever 21 are but a few. Dine at numerous eateries like Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Dick’s Last Resort, and Five Guys Burgers or catch a show at the Grand IMAX Theater. 

Located on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in Panama City Beach, the Russell-Fields Pier sits 1500 feet out into the Gulf of Mexico. Spectators can walk the pier for a daily fee. Daily fishing licenses can also be purchased. Open all year. Fish caught in season: Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Red fish, Blues, Blue liners, Pompano, Flounder, Hardtails, and other varieties. Rod rentals, bait, and tackle are available on site.

Calypso also sits directly across the street from Aaron Bessant Park, Panama City Beach's premier festival spot! Frank Brown Recreational Park is the largest park in Panama City Beach and offers a variety of activities, including sports fields, an aquatic center, trails, a youth fishing pond, a dog play area, and a Festival Site. We had a great time. Calypso is a great location. We always enjoy staying here. First time staying in this room. Room was very clean and views were amazing from the 23rd floor.

Family vacation

Property was great just as advertised. Room was great but sleeping nine would be stretching it. We had 6of us and was plenty of room. Balcony was amazing especially with all the extra furniture. Only complaint I had was there was some mold on both shower curtains. Other than that it was great. Would definitely stay in this room again.

Beautifully decorated and well furnished! Perfect location! Only downfall, the portable ice maker at the wet bar was not cleaned and had water and mold in the inside so we were unable to use! Easy to overlook as I gave one at home and well…. It happens! We just didn’t have bleach or we would have cleaned! Hands down 10 out of 10 would stay in same condo again!

Spring Broke :)

We loved everything about this place except maybe the elevator wait but that is at every condo and every spring break. If you want this fantastic view the elevator won't be a problem. It is across from Pier Park which is dangerous for shopaholics like me (Hence the title "Spring Broke") with food, entertainment, and the pier is beautiful at night. Saw Dolphins in the am while reading my book, it was just a beautiful stay, we will be back. OHHHH, don't forget to try the pineapple drink from the tiki bar by the pool. They have the best ones and so much fruit.

Great stay! Everything was clean, but some attention needed on the balcony from spills of something that wasn’t cleaned up prior to our arrival. Could just be stained. The ice machine in the refrigerator didn’t work, but there is a small one on the bar area, but just not enough ice for a larger group. We had an issue with the dishwasher but it was fixed promptly. Would recommend and stay again.

Dissatisfied

The room was not clean it had a smell like mold. Carpets were dirty and furniture in and out was filthy. The refrigerator ice maker was broken. So many other things were unsatisfactory.

Family Fun

The condo was very nice and roomy for us. We had 4 adults, 2 teens and 3 under age 6. The view was beautiful and we all enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Our truck would not fit in the parking deck so we had to park outside. The attendants were helpful and friendly. At times waiting on the elevator was a little lengthy but not as bad as in some other places. Our icemaker in our condo did not work or we could not find any instructions on how to turn it on. The portable ice maker needed to be cleaned so we could not use it. If you ate coffee drinkers you may want to bring your own coffee maker. The one in condo was small and only did 3 cups at a time. But those were just little things. Overall the condo is very nice and well stocked with dishes and cookware. The beds slept good and their was amply room. We would definately rent again.

We stayed here for the bike rally. It’s on the top floor. No issues getting the elevator. The view is magnificent. The condo is very nice. We will stay again.

I was a little apprehensive booking the 23rd floor from our past experiences with long elevator waits during the busy fall break week. We never had to wait long at all. The only real complaint I’ve got is the size of the coffee pot. It’s tiny. The location is really perfect. Everything you need is within walking distance. Pier Park, the fishing pier, and Walmart.

Just OK

Pros: 1. Beautiful view and easy access to beach and nearby shopping and restaurants. 2. Clean/new (or updated) Cons: 1. Zero flexibility checking in or out. Parking codes not emailed as promised but were sent as soon as I called. Parking for oversized vehicles available to right of garage but sometimes hard to get a spot because small vehicles in those spots. 2. Checkin was a madhouse with long waits for luggage carts and elevators. That was the only time elevators were a problem and we were on the 23rd floor. 3. Minimal/understocked/absent necessities like toilet paper, soap, trash bags, coffee, etc. For the price of the condo $20 worth of conveniences should be provided. 4. Fridge ice maker broken and ice machine on premise out of ice. Small stand alone ice maker in room made some but not near enough. Very inconvenient. 5. Ad says 3 bedrooms. It’s more like 2 bedrooms and 1 closet with a bunk bed in it. 2nd bathroom is in master bath so anyone staying outside master must share one bathroom. Comfortably sleeps 9 should probably say comfortably sleeps 6. Overall I might would stay again but for the price of the condo I would probably choose one of many other cheaper nicer options.

Great condo and location

This condo worked very well for our family of 6. We loved being on the top floor and having a fantastic view of the ocean. Location is convenient to lots of eateries (both sit down and fast food), Walmart, Target, grocery store, etc. However l, traffic gets very backed up on the main road outside this property. This specific condo did have several beach chairs and children’s beach toys in a closet (probably from previous guests). The beach loungers run by the resort cost us $50/day for 2 padded loungers with umbrella. All kitchen cooking/serving needs seemed to be provided except for spices and coffee filters (byo coffee). There was also 1 small hair drier available.

Top floor

It was a great stay was on the 23rd floor which was to high for us but we didn’t let that stop us only probably we had was the 1st bathroom tub and shower was stopped up water wouldn’t go down and the toilets was like hitting the ground like for little kids.

WOW!

This is the biggest and nicest condo I have stayed in, in a long time. Usually, I only expect quaint quality in a one bedroom, so to my absolute delight this condo was HUGE AND BEAUTIFULLY RENOVATED! Plus, it's in THE TOP FLOOR! We felt like royalty. The view of the ocean and pier is fabulous. Truly a great spot for our Church Staff Retreat.

Loved the location. Loved the tiki bar being so close to beach.

The check in is too late and check out too early. Ice maker did not dispense well, bathroom had used soaps left in shower, vacuum could not be used missing wheels and rugs were dirty. Confusing on how to check in and find rooms.

Everything was good except for problems scanning the barcode getting in and out of parking gate. But thanks to the excellent gate security workers for helping us out each and every time. Y'all are awesome

Great location

We had a great time at the property. There was a total of 9 of us and everyone fit perfectly. The location was perfect! It was on the beach, Walmart was close by as well as shopping and dinning. I would definitely stay in the unit again.

Beach week

This property was perfect. It was clean and comfortable beds. Perfect for 6 of us. I would definitely stay here again.
