★☆ HOUSE RULES ☆★ .
* Dogs are allowed for an additional non-refundable fee of $50 per dog, per stay, with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed. As much as we love cats, we do not allow cats or any other animals aside from dogs at our property.
* Couch covers are stored in the TV console in the living room. Guests should put these on the couch if pets are present (unless cleaning staff handles it).
* **No pets on beds.**
* We provide a large and small dog bed, dog bowls, a bin of dog toys, and leashes.
* In case of emergency, the main water shut-off valve is located in a cut-out on the front porch decking under the window. This valve also controls the front garden hose. Be sure to turn off the hose valve after use.
* Bathroom door handles may get locked accidentally. There are two "privacy keys" to unlock them: one in the "junk drawer" (first drawer on the left of the island), and another on a key ring hanging on a shell hook to the right of the island.
* Please do not open the windows as this area is very dusty.
* Do not lift the living room blinds; use the wand to adjust them.
* Ensure the deadbolt fully turns before pulling on the door handle to avoid damage to the lock.
* A security stick is available for the sliding glass door to prevent it from being opened from the outside. Please use it before sleeping or leaving the house.
* Outdoor chair cushions are stored in the deck box in the sunroom. Please bring them inside after use, as falling leaves, seeds, and moss from trees can damage the fabric.
* A broom is available on the coat rack near the outside shower door for sweeping the patio if needed.
* The School for the Deaf and Blind may issue alerts for weather or school-related emergencies (sometimes drills). If you're unsure about a warning, you can contact the SFDB Campus police at 904-827-2315.
* No drugs or parties allowed.
* Quiet hours: 10 PM to 8 AM.
* Be respectful of full-time residents; avoid disturbances.
* No smoking is allowed inside the unit or on the balcony, as per HOA rules.
* Smoking is permitted outside the building in designated areas, following city regulations.
* Please do not run the AC/heater if the garage door is open.
* Ensure all doors, windows, and the garage door are closed when leaving the home.
* No events, parties, or large gatherings.
* Please report any damages that occur during the stay.
* There is a $500 fee for smoking in the premises.
* Late Check Out Fees are as follows: $50 for the first hour, $100 for two hours, and $500 for any extended time.
* These fees ensure fair compensation for our cleaners or any subsequent guests affected by delays. If you need a late checkout, please inquire in advance. Depending on upcoming bookings, we might accommodate you, though a fee might still apply.
* Extra Guests: If more guests than permitted are found at the property, we reserve the right to deny entry based on the website's policies. Extra guests will be treated as trespassers. An additional fee of $50/night per extra guest may apply, or we might request that you vacate the property.
