Newly-renovated, this standalone townhouse offers plenty of quiet and privacy for you and your guests. Enjoy the bright, open, and spacious interior complete with a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an adjacent casual table for four, a formal dining table with six chairs, and a sumptuous living area with soaring ceilings, comfortable furnishings, a wet bar, and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. Guests will also enjoy access to a sparkling, shared pool and lighted tennis courts.

What's nearby:
Shipyard is an 800-acre gated community conveniently located in the heart of the south end of Hilton Head Island. The complex is just a short walk or bike ride away from the beach, as well as being just a little over a mile from the popular Coligny Plaza Shopping Center. The community also has three nine-hole golf courses, the world renowned Van der Meer tennis center, a health spa, and miles of well-maintained trails for biking and hiking.

Things to know:
The Pickleball and Tennis courts will be temporarily closed from April 22nd to May 6th, 2025 for scheduled maintenance and renovations.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect extended family spot

Plenty of bedroom space for family to go but still all meet in the middle. Onsite help was very easy to communicate with. I really appreciate the text communication.Corner lot easy for coming and going.

Property needs to be better maintained

Be cautious when booking this property. While the structure and layout of the home is beautiful it has not been well maintained. There were baby roaches, spiders and cobwebs inside the home (particularly in the upstairs bedroom). Additionally, the microwave was dirty. Come prepared to clean this property. Vacasa was semi responsive and sent a staff to remove the cobwebs.

Perfect for our family!

When I was searching for our family, I knew that I wanted three separate bedrooms with each one having their own private baths. I also wanted a good sized main living room where we could all gather. A recliner (for my husband with bad knees!) was also a hope. Well this stand alone unit was perfect! Being stand alone meant that we didn’t have to stress so much over the noise the children made, too! Thank you so much for a wonderful visit for me and my family. This July my husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary, and this vacation with our family in this unit made it extra special!

Concerned about cleaness

This is the first time we rent through Vacasa. The location of this property is great; however, a few details made the experience uncomfortable. The house was not clean. We used the living room sofa bed for a couple of nights. To our surprise, when we opened it we saw the dirty under the coach. There were dead cockroaches and other insects. The main problem for us, though, is that the upstairs bathroom had mold, a significant presence of mold. These two issues are easy to solve. I hope future renters have a better experience. Our previous experiences were with the Vacation Company and they were all very positive. The Vacation Company includes a cleaning service if you stay for at two weeks, that was not offered through Vacasa. I was not aware of this when I rented the unit for two weeks this summer. Next time, plan to rent through the Vacation Company next summer. The small details make all the difference for us.

Bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds. Great location. Some of the unit could use some updating. Appreciate that this unit is pet friendly. Vacasa is great to deal with. Had a few issues but communication was quick and responsive. Would book again

Great Pet Friendly Place

We wanted to bring our small non-shedding dogs with us. It so hard to find a nice place that will allow. This one did - so fit our needs perfectly. VERY clean and well kept. Large king room and master bath. Easy bike ride to beach. Also liked how there wasn’t a ton of “Do Not” signs everywhere like other places. Very welcoming feel. Easy check in and check out. Appreciated being able to check in a little early after long drive. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Stay!

We absolutely loved everything about Evian 101! The unit was spotless when we arrived. The beds were comfy. There was plenty of hot water for everyone to shower when we came off the beach. It is beautifully decorated with a modern feel. It is conveniently located - we were within minutes of everything we wanted to do on the island. We loved having dedicated parking spots! Our boys loved the loft area - it gave them their own space to hang out We had one very minor issue. We called just to inform Vacassa but they sent a representative over right away to take care of it for us. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and hope to book again next time we visit Hilton Head.

fall vacation

House is in great shape. Two bedrooms on first floor and one up. Each room has a TV with a different remote setup. Takes some getting use to. Cleaning could have been a little better, cob webs in kitchen and dining. A few roaches due to exterminator being two months old. Close to beach with free parking. Right on golf course. Wish there was a deal to play at a discount. Will still rent next year.

Great stay in Shipyard

We have stayed in units in Evian for the past 3 years. This 3 bedroom unit was clean and updated. It was well supplied and even had many beach items for renters to use. We enjoyed the fact we could bring our dog along. We love Evian and this unit was very nice for our family vacation.

Very nice

We have stayed in several units throughout Shipyard over the years and this unit is definitely the favorite so far. The renovations they have done throughout especially on the bathrooms are beautiful. We really appreciated the little touches that the owners left for guests to enjoy, such as the beach toys and our sons loved the tennis rackets. When we arrived the unit was very clean - We have had some bad experiences with places where we've shown up and the unit is not clean. 1 thing I will mention, we did have some bugs, but weren't sure if we were bringing them in on our beach gear or if they were already there. I understand the environment/climate in the area and know its impossible to be 100% bug free. The pool in the Evian complex was very nice and was clean the whole week. We were exactly 1 mile from the beach. We will be trying to stay in this unit again, thank you!

Wonderful

The location of the house is wonderful. Walking distance to the golf course, tennis, swimming and the beach. We brought our family dog with us, he enjoyed the beach very much. House was kept very clean, kitchen with pots and pans. Well equipped in general. Dish detergent and laundry pots were supplied. Bedroom beds were comfortable. Master bathroom was awesome. I was a little worried about communicating with Vacasa after reading reviews online. However, it was not an issue for us. Vacasa office is just around the block and was helpful when we arrived to get the welcome package. We didn't have to reach out to them for anything after. Overall, a very happy and wonderful vacation. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks Vacasa!
