Freshly renovated one bed room and bath with private entrance in quiet neighborhood. New paint and linens with newly installed independent HVAC. Ten minutes to Sullivans Island and 10 minutes to downtown Charleston. Five minutes to Shem Creek. Queen bed with in room refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Private entrance and parking space. Neighborhood is walking friendly. Great location for easy access to all area attractions. EV owners, feel free to plug in for the night and start your day with a full charge. Adapter available. Close proximity to Credit One stadium

The room was perfect for our 2 nights in Charleston. The neighborhood is close to Credit One stadium and close proximity to the beach. It was well-furnished and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay for a Wedding

This place was perfect for me as I came to town for a wedding. The location was close to everything and easy to get around. I had my own parking spot and the inside had everything I needed. It was clean comfortable and the water was hot in the shower! Dave was a good host and checked in to make sure everything was going well. He provided with a lot of recommendations of places to go and things to do. I will definitely be back!

Comfotable, convenient experience

Came into town for a weekend a friend's wedding. Had a lovely visit. Check in was easy. Host was friendly. Premises were clean and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful

Owner was very kind. Space was clean and nice. Highly recommend. Good proximity to downtown and the beach. 10 minutes to the beach and 15 to downtown.

Mount Unpleasant

What sold me on booking this property was the rating of 10 with 127 reviews. The listing is reasonably accurate in stating a cozy (read small) room. It is a bit cramped. The location is close by major roadway and has easy access to the beaches or Charleston. Still it is in a corner of a residential subdivision. The room has a separate entrance from the house but the only light coming into the room is from the front door’s glass. As a result, the room is rather dark and gloomy. While the room is very clean, the linens, bed cover and area rug have seen better days. That is what you might expect in a student bedroom but not for hospitality. The room is really part of the house with a locked door for separation from perhaps the family room and it shares the central heating/cooling. The host asked to be contacted if adjustment is needed. When the heat comes on, it becomes unbearable. We booked 3 nights but moved out after the first night. my wife found the place dreadful and depressing. The host was gracious enough to refund the 2 nights we did not stay. That was very nice. Thank you Dave. This place may work fine for some people as a crash pad but it is not a pleasant accommodation for Mount Pleasant.

Cute little place

We had a nice stay at Dave’s place. We were in town for a wedding in Charleston and this place was 15-20 minutes from the venue. The property was clean and quiet in a nice neighborhood. It had the perfect amount of amenities for a weekend stay and Dave was very responsive to our questions. I would recommend staying here.

Quiet neighborhood close to places

It was a nice quiet area to stay in. Small nice neighborhood to walk in and we also walked to Shem Creek for a nice longer walk. There’s a lot within a short drive for food and shopping. The host was great with communication ahead of time and during the trip.

My Stay

I enjoyed this stay and the facilities very much. I would certainly stay again. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The place was immaculate. I had easy access to anything I need to do while I was there.

Quiet Retreat

I recently stayed at this VRBO as I had a meeting in Isle of Palms. This VRBO is located in Mount Pleasant in a quiet residential neighborhood, but that is close to great shopping and fabulous restaurants! It certainly exceeded my expectations and if I have the opportunity to go back to Mount Pleasant, I certainly will book again!!
