The perfect weekend getaway even when the weather can’t decide what to do! We came here for our 45th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The bed was comfy, the scenery was beautiful, the wildlife was phenomenal, the apartment was well appointed with everything we needed, it was clean and quiet. We got a neighbor upstairs, but that was all good too. We coexisted nicely and there was plenty of space for all of us outside. The neighborhood is nice for walks and fun bike rides too! Close proximity to Charleston and Folly Beach was delightful as well. We used the parking pass and enjoyed a nice afternoon at the beach and enjoyed a meal at Taco Boy. All in all, this little apartment delivered a perfect respite from our busy life and left us with a smile as we left!

Nice gazebo and covered patio with easy kayak access to tidal inlet, did see dolphins in the deep water area, many kayaks to choose from. Everything you could need in kitchen and bath if you forget something

Weekend Trip

We took our first trip here as a couple and we loved our stay. The property is beautiful and an easy drive to Folly Beach and downtown Charleston. The county park pass for beach access was great to have.

We had a wonderful weekend! Enjoyed getting out on the water and it was great to have a place to tie up our own tandem kayak! The Gazebo provided the perfect space for starting the day with beautiful sunrises and engaging wildlife!

If I could give it zero stars, I would

When we first got there after driving 10 hours, we walked in and straight out. All we could smell was mold and mildew. There was severe water damage and mold throughout the home. I then called the host to tell him about this situation, he had very poor communication skills and was rude. I tried informing him with the pictures of the mold, and he tried telling me that’s a smell of the marsh.

Peaceful and perfect

The home was such a respite on my way back from a long week. It was a stop for a day between Va and my home in Fl. Just being able to sit on the gazebo and watch the sunset and the tide was wonderful. I enjoyed the beach, took the kayak out and made it into Charleston for dinner. Thanks for the peaceful break!

Loved the dock right outside the door. Bed was very comfortable. I think they could use a new sofa, it was not clean. Everything else was great.

Paradise

The cottage was very clean and we loved having the dock to walk out on. We were able to pick oysters and grilled those two nights. It had everything that you needed for a beach weekend and we loved it there. We will definitely stay there again!

Located between Folly beach and Charleston, so close to everything!! Fabulous condo stocked with everything you need!! Very clean and well appointed. Close to restaurants, beach and entertainment! Truly a perfect stay!!

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Loved the property as me and the wife took a long weekend as part of her birthday celebration. The location is perfect and the house is cozy with a great private dock where you can watch the sunset, relax. and unwind. Bed was comfortable, shower was nice and hot with good water pressure and the host supplied plenty of towels and linens. He also provided a long list of recommendations before we arrived which was super helpful as this was my first time in Charleston. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot!

I absolutely loved this spot! It is close to everything but feels very private. The view from the patio and gazebo were beautiful. The space itself was very nice and spotless. I will definitely stay at this space if it is available on my next visit.

Peaceful, close by, great amenities

Enjoyed this place. A lovely view, super comfy bed, and just close enough to the island. Loved being close enough to the beach but away from the crowds. Ran and biked onto the island each day. The available bikes and kayaks were great to have. The ide schedule is definitely imp to follow. Loved the keurig! Thank you for your attention to details.

Folly beach

This property was great, Todd answered us quickly check in was easy, close to the beach, we got bikes to ride and kayaks were available The grocery store was right across the street. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. This property was on a marsh so it was interesting to watch the tide go in and out and the different birds fly in The sunsets were awesome..
