Travel back in time in your own private historical mansion! Wine & dine your guests in good old fashioned style right in the heart of historical downtown Pensacola just one block off Palafox St. This beautiful 4400 sqft Victorian home boasts 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 dining areas, a grand lobby, a proper parlor, and a comfortable TV room. Unique features such as soaring 11 foot ceilings, original stained glass windows and an ornate grand wood staircase.

The space
One of Pensacola’s architecturally significant Victorian homes. The house construction initiated in 1902 by Steamboat Captain James M. Flynn and was completed around 1904 when the Thomas W. Brent, Jr. family moved in. Over the years it has also served as a hotel, bed-and-breakfast, advertising agency, and more. Previously featured in Southern Living Magazine. While this home has served many roles throughout its history, most of the charming historic details remain intact today. This includes the ornate wooden staircase in the foyer, 7 original fireplaces each with a unique hand carved wooden mantel. A favorite detail are the stunning stained glass windows throughout the house!

Guest access
Guests will have private access to the entire home, yard, porch and deck. There is parking around the back of the home that can accommodate approx 7-10 vehicles if organized well as well as additional street parking.

Other things to note
Being a 100+ year old home staying here is a little different than staying in a modern construction home. Please be mindful of low railings and fragile elements.

-No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the house.
-You will be responsible for the safety and conduct of individuals in your group.

What a beautiful, historical place. Every room was beautiful and we saw something new every time we entered a room. The stain glass pieces were stunning and the crystal glimmered in each room. The location was perfect. We walked to Gallery Night and to The Palafox Market. Great restaurants are within walking distance. We had a perfect weekend staycation

The property was viewed as listed. It was clean and orderly. The rooms were spacious and decorated very well. We were located near the venue that we were visiting for the weekend, which was great! Amazing House

One of the few homes I’ve stayed that the “sleeps#” is 100% accurate. Beds are all comfortable queens. Decor is perfect. This place has a personality. Downtown is quiet and subdued, but still close enough to all the fun. Owner is incredibly helpful and available. Perfect stay.

Beautiful home

We were in town for our son’s wedding. This house was perfect for our family and extended family. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The accommodations in the house were excellent. The host is very attentive to details in the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommended 100%. The home was absolutely beautiful.

We had a wonderful family vacation at the Victorian Mansion in Downtown Pensacola. The house was lovely and comfortable. There were plenty of beds/bedrooms, and there was plenty of room to gather, either inside or out on the veranda. There were also plenty of places where you could be by yourself to read or relax. The location was perfect! We were less than 10 min from the beach, but we were also close to historic downtown Pensacola, with all the quaint shops & eateries, so there was something for everyone! This was definitely a "Family Favorite"!

Awesome house

This house is a gem. If you want a period house furnished in wonderful antiques that fit the house, this is the place! We slept 11 people in the house and never felt crowed. To the contrary, it is spacious, warm and inviting!

The location of this property is perfect. 15 minutes from the airport, and a 5 minute walk to downtown. We were close by everything and did not have to pay to park.

Evacuation stay

Due to an impending hurricane we were placed under a mandatory evacuation, we luckily were able to stay at this gorgeous home that was large enough for our entire family. Despite the reasoning for our last minute trip and stay the owners were excellent and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this home.

Sisters Wedding Weekend

I stayed in the house with my sisters and extended family for my niece’s wedding. The kids took over the media room and enjoyed their space having fun. The adults were found with morning coffee on the porch and wine in the evening in the parlor. The house was exceptionally clean and provided many comforts. It’s a beautiful home with a quick walk to downtown. I highly recommend it to a large group visiting Pensacola!

The rooms had their own individual charm. Rooms were huge. We came when Pensacola had a freak snow storm, the host were responsive in allowing us to purchase extra heaters. The old house had a couple of old house issues, but really loved the place

Perfect Venue

We had the best time at this beautiful house. We hosted a 1950s themed murder mystery 60th birthday party, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The house is magnificent (the pictures just cannot communicate how incredible the house is), and is filled with uniquely and tastefully curated furniture, decor, and stained glass. We fell in love at first site. And Shanna is incredibly easy to get ahold of with questions. You cannot go wrong booking this location!

This property is absolutely wonderful for a large family or group! The verandah hosted us day and night for long talks and catch-ups. There were plenty of bedrooms - all lovely - for us to pick from, and rooms for storytelling, movie watching, and plenty of laughs! Lots of room for parking, too. A dream come true

Even better than the photos, this home is a work of art, through and through. It made us all feel as though we got to visit a fascinating, living museum, then got to stay overnight(s). Every room holds surprises and delights. So much character and warmth. he hosts were very responsive when we couldn't figure out the entry (didn't read the instructions--oops) and worked with us on check in-so gracious. Unforgettable.

Perfect for large groups

This was one of the only properties in the area that could accommodate all of us under one roof and I’m glad we found it. Shanna(host) was very nice and easy to communicate with. The house was aesthetically pleasing to say the least. And being walking distance from downtown was a huge plus. We’re already planning next years trip to stay here again

Awesome Time

The perfect place for a family gathering. Plenty of place for everyone. Good location. The house was well maintained. Neighborhood is very quiet. Somethings were within walking distance. Kids loved the Mess Hall that is nearby. The beach was a big hit. We all had a great time.
