Historic Pass-a-Grille Beach Bungalow 2 Bedroom Steps to Beach and Bay Sleeps 6

From the Historic SeaHorse Bungalow to Pass-a-Grille Beach is a one-minute walk. This is my biggest Bungalow, the one for families, and the only one with its own private patio.

These Bungalows have won Traveler's Review Awards three years running, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

I grew up in this home. It has been in my family since the early 1980s, and the SeaHorse is the heart of the property.

THE BUNGALOW
Two real bedrooms, a king and a queen, plus a sofa bed in the living room, so six can sleep without anyone drawing straws. Full kitchen, a dining area that seats six, a washer and dryer, and a full bath with a tub. Beds are made with the good linens.

THE PRIVATE PATIO
The gated back deck with the blue table is yours alone, grill included. The gate closes, so your dog can join you out there. Dogs are welcome for $100 per pet. There is also a communal front pavilion shared by all four Bungalows, with more seating and a grill.

OUTSIDE
Beach chairs and gear are included, and there is an outdoor shower for sandy feet. One free parking spot is included, and honestly, you will barely use the car.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Pass-a-Grille is 31 blocks long and walkable end to end. Dinner and shops are on 8th Avenue, the sunset piano is at Paradise Grille, the bay is a one-minute walk if you want to fish or watch for manatees, and the dog beach is 5 to 10 minutes on foot. The Don CeSar is about ten blocks up the beach.

We live close by and answer texts in minutes. Nightly, weekly, and monthly stays welcome.

This house was the perfect location for us! Beach access was near perfect. We loved the beach chairs and boogie boards, too, My son slept on the pullout couch and it was fine for him. It was a perk to have a parking spot too because parking is a premium in the neighborhood, Shops and restaurants were a 5 min walk away.

This was a perfect and quite spot for what our family of 6 was looking for. Everything we need right around us. Extremely easy to access the beach. Coming from out of town on a plane, my only request would be to have more beach chairs to accommodate all guests. There were only 2 functioning and sometimes were taken my the other visitors. Not a complaint, just a recommendation. We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect location within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Nice to have a parking area when spots are hard to find in Pass-a-grille. Cottage was beautifully decorated, room to spread out for 2 couples, well appointed with supplies- especially nice to have beach chairs and umbrella available! Would stay at the Seahorse again!

Best Beach Cottage

First stay at Pass-a-Grille, a family favorite beach of a lifetime. We enjoyed our stay and all of the amenities there was to offer. The cottage was the perfect size to host our family and enjoy the beautiful beach just steps away. We are planning to make this a family destination again!

Charming and Comfortable

We had a great stay at this property. We had plenty of space and all the amenities anyone could want for a beach stay. Tiny bathroom though…which is true of every place we have stayed on Pass-a-Grille. Would definitely return.

Convenient Location

Perfectly situated, close to the beach and the heart of PAG. Well suited for 2 couples or a family of 2,3 kids; enough room that you did not feel like you were running into each other. Worth the stay!

Girls weekend

The Seahorse bungalow was quaint and charming in the perfect location. It was clean and stocked with needed items. The beds were very comfy! Can’t wait to go back!

Beach bungalow

Perfect area for a relaxing beach vacation. Super close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Listing should emphasize that beach towels are included at the rental because it would have saved space for our crammed car, but it was a pleasant surprise to have them provided. Great place!

Perfect Beach Bungalow

Seahorse Bungalow is just as cute as it looks in the pictures. It is adorable inside and out and in a lovely neighborhood right next to the beach as described. Everything you need is included and there was plenty of space to rest and relax with friends. We would love to stay again ❤️

Perfect house and location!!

We had a great time. Property is the perfect size for a small family. It is clean and walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. Tyler was very responsive to emails and answered all my questions. We will definitely be back and will also recommend this property to family and friends.

Hi, I’m Cheryl. I grew up right here on this property in Pass-a-Grille, and it has been in my family since it was built in 1905. This place means a lot to me, and I love sharing the beach, bay, local restaurants, and relaxed neighborhood charm with guests. My goal is to make every stay feel clean, comfortable, and welcoming so you can enjoy the same coastal community my family has loved for generations.

Southern Pass-A-Grille Beach House Bungalows has been welcoming guests to Pass-A-Grille Beach since the early 1980s, when our mother Susan started the business. After her passing in 2003, our sister Lisa Abraham-Charest took over management of our four historic bungalows — the SeaHorse, StarFish, SandPearl, and NorthStar.

Family owned and operated, each bungalow has been fully renovated with modern amenities while keeping the charm and character that makes Pass-A-Grille special. Located on the southernmost tip of Saint Pete Beach, steps from one of the top rated beaches in the United States. Nightly, weekly, and monthly rentals available.
