Wonderful updated Greens condo in Shipyard with nice golf course views and short walk to the beach. Community pool very close and bike paths just around the corner. The condo is 188 The Greens and has updated baths and granite counters in the kitchen. Nice furniture and a very nice deck to enjoy the view. Grill out or cook in the fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed with updated full bath and walk in glass shower. Guest room has two double beds with updated full bath just steps away. There is an updated half bath downstairs and fold out couch to sleep eight people comfortably. We provide two parking passes with the rental. Your vacation rental includes bike rentals and beach gear with your stay. Two free Shipyard parking passes and one is a free Shipyard beach parking pass or you can bike or walk to the beach too. Great location. 188 The Greens in Shipyard is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Head Vacations, Inc, a locally owned company.

Shipyard offers a wonderful resort with 27 holes of championship golf, Ven Der Meer Tennis facilities, Sonesta Hotel and Resort with restaurant and bar, miles of bike paths and easy beach access thru the Shipyard Beach house. Shipyard is located close to Coligny and shops on the island. Sea Pines with the famous Harbourtown is about 15 minutes away. Enjoy seeing all the yachts and sunsets at Harbourtown, a must see.

Hilton Head Island has over 30 golf courses in the area, 200 restaurants, 250 shops, 400 tennis courts and pickle ball courts, 117 miles of bike paths and 17 miles of beaches. Restaurants range from casual seafood to gourmet waterfront fine dining. Signature golf courses are all over the area from the PGA Harbourtown Golf Links to off island courses. Great location, comfortable space

The townhouse was ideally located. A 5 minute bikeride to the beach, quiet community, well maintained and clean. Would stay again.

A well-appointed property that enhanced our vacation. Highlights include the kitchen and large living room, and the master bedroom. We had a flawless experience from booking it through to our stay and check out.

Misrepresentation of the place

The photos in the listing are obviously very old. The condo was dirty. The kitchen cabinets were beat up & not wiped down, missing simple things like a cutting board

Hilton Head Beach Vacation

We enjoy staying in Shipyard - Great location. The property was clean and well stocked when we arrived. Just a quick bike ride or a few minutes to walk to the beach. Nice view of the golf course.

Great location

Very much enjoyed our stay as location was a close walk to the beach. Unit was well supplied and comfortable. Loved being able to BBQ, although it's likely time for a replacement. Would stay there again were it not for our own mobility issues being hampered by the stairs to the bedroom level.

Just a short walk to the beach.

This property was an excellent choice. Ten minutes to the beach and everything we needed for a week stay. Condo was clean and comfortable. Next to the golf course and very quiet. Would seriously consider renting this property again.

Great location and comfortable!

This is a fantastic location within walking distance of the beach. Very comfortable townhouse in a quiet neighborhood on the golf course. We loved it. Problems with the entry lock which vacasa did fix but lots of problems with the TV which made it unwatchable for most of the time we were there.,

This place was a big GIANT mess!!!

Outside trash bins were overflowing. We were there Sunday until Friday. Trash was picked up on Wednesday so we were there only one day free of this mess. The white carpet in the living/dining room was almost completely black with dirt. The carpet in front of the couch was wet with some sort of spill, The carpet should have been cleaned before renting to someone. Good thing there weren't any small children as it wouldn't have been safe for them. Most lamps didn't work and there were light bulbs missing everywhere. I pulled back the top sheet of the left bed in the 2 bed bedroom and there was a poop smear on the lower right side of the fitted bed sheet on that bed and to think I slept in this bed 4 days . Almost all the walls were partly painted in spots in a different color of paint. This wasn't the relaxing vacation that we had hoped for. Some sort of refund should be given since we had to live with mess for 5 days. Sincerely, Rose McCarty

We have enjoyed our location and proximity to all of the amenities. The weather was awesome and the area is very relaxing. However, we’d like to provide feedback on the property rental itself below: Major Concerns: *the unit has a moderately unpleasant odor upon entering and up the stairwell. *carpet in stairwell and bedrooms are extremely stained/dirty (unsure if they are stains or could be cleaned). *cabinets had large amounts of crumbs, which we have been cleaning. *great room has large cobwebs in sliding door to deck (some we have cleaned) and moderate to large amount of dirt/debris between couch and coffee table. *dried dirt or food on inside of shower walls near shower head and a fair amount of hair scattered over tile walls. *dining room table including chairs had dried food scattered throughout. We have cleaned most of this concern. *no specified parking spots/lines designating unit. Found people parking taking up more room than necessary to park. Had to park away from unit on occasions. *propane grill tank not properly attached, hanging by propane line Minor Concerns: *lamp shade in bedroom #2 was off and arms to shade broken. We are using without lamp shade. *vents and returns especially in bathroom fan fixture covered with dust/lint. Reported all information to Hilton Head Vacation, Inc at beginning of stay and included a pic that showed the popcorn, food and debris that was not cleaned. The remedy that was suggested was to send the cleaning company and a separate carpet cleaning company during our stay. Needless to say, we had a full house, to include 5 teen age girls with many bags that we were going to have to move out of the way and coordinating this for our short stay really was not what we preferred. We informed the rental company that we had already cleaned around some of the areas that needed to be cleaned and asked that rather than disrupting our vacation further, we asked for some type of discount. This was refused. We usually never report concerns but based on the rising cost of goods and the amount of money we paid, coupled with the large amount of issues we wanted to share our concerns. We have used VRBO many times in the past and have no problem using this service.

Thanksgiving stay!

Villa was very clean and comfortable for us. The tv system did not work correctly and a few maintenance issues should be addressed, but overall we were pleased. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the large meal! No ice maker.

Family vacation was a success

We loved the decor and the white linen and comfy beds. They had a couple games, beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys. Also, a grill which we used and kitchen cookware. The washer and dryer worked great and the tvs and wifi. Everything was clean and in good condition except the skylight and the staircase needed a little love. The location was perfect for the beach and bike riding. The kids enjoyed seeing the alligators in the water on the trails and swimming in the pool at The Greens.

The owners put an effort into this property. The bathrooms were new, the bedrooms were very clean.

The property was better than I expected. The washer and dryer worked well. Many items were new or almost new. Only carpet on the first floor needed fixing. It was really nice to have two and half new bathrooms. Overall I was very pleased with the property. It was family friendly too.

Outstanding.

We were supposed to stay for 2 weeks - we stayed for 2 months. We worked remotely for the full two months and on weekends loved walking to the beach (it's 5 min walk away) - playing a quick round of golf (its a 3 min drive away) and enjoying Hilton Head. After staying on Pope Ave before this and thinking that was Hilton Head, I was so delighted by this spot. The trees are beautiful, the neighbors are delightful and everything about this place really met our needs. We loved the grill and took full advantage of all the things the home offered. Also - the couch was outstanding, comfortable and perfect to feel right at home. This isn't a hotel - the fridge works well but isn't stainless steel. The shower was a bit clogged but maintenance was by in about 5 hours to fix it, the carpet is white and has a few dirt marks, but is absolutely not dirty. It's a well maintained home with beautiful, travel friendly updates. If I could go back right now, I would!

The unit is located on the golf course and is only a short walk from the ocean! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!

great place in shipyard

great for a family vacation in HH. plenty of space for kids to play both inside and out on deck and in grass behind deck. About a 10 minute walk to beach or 5 minute bike ride. Community pool is about a 3 minute walk from place.
