Overall great place to stay. Really good location. Great roads nearby for walking/jogging. Not close parking on site, so be prepared to hike your bags a bit, other than that it was a great place to stay and very comfortable. Had everything we needed.

This is the condo that i certainly will rent again. Itnis clean, updated and the location is amazing. I am giving it a 4 star rating only because i feel they were very stingy when it came to the amount of items that are nessesary. I got 2 trash bags for 3 trash cans and a nine day stay, 1 roll of TP, 1 roll of papertowels and 4 dishwasher pods. I expect to buy groceries but not to restock a unit just to leave it. Other than that the kitchen is supplied with plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, pots and pans. Dont hesitate to rent this unit, just be prepared to buy essential supplies.

Mahalo for your review and kind words about the condo! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness, updates, and amazing location, and we truly appreciate your recommendation to future guests. We also appreciate the feedback regarding the starter supplies. As noted in our rental information, we provide an initial starter set of essentials to help guests settle in upon arrival, but additional supplies are the responsibility of the guest during longer stays. That said, we absolutely understand your perspective and will review your comments with the owner and team as we are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience. We’re thrilled to hear you would rent the condo again and would love the opportunity to host you back on your next visit to Hawaii! Mahalo, Knutson & Associates

Perfection

This property is perfect! Although no direct beach access it has an amazing pool and sandy "beach" right on the ocean. There is a lovely lanai area with BBQs and tables near the saltwater pool. The condo itself was clean and well appointed in the kitchen as well as snorkeling and beach gear. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is ideal as well

Honeymoon Vacation

The property was fabulous! We tended to stay out and do all we could on the Big Island, but when we came back we had a relaxing property waiting for us. The other residents were very nice as well. We did utilize both pools and the grills as well, which were all positive experiences!

Exceeding my expectations! Beautifully remodeled and the shower is amazing! It really is like a spa massage all in a shower! Private beach and saltwater pool on the ocean is mesmerizing with the ocean waves crashing in. Sunsets are great from here as well! Well equipped to make your stay very comfortable. Comfy bed. Gated community and very quiet. Our last night we had rainbow on one side of us and sunset on the other. We found a quiet little spot around the corner from the pool that was perfect. Celebrated the end of our 4@ year anniversary trip here.

2nd Stay & Here to Stay!We just got done staying here again for 8/9 days, and we are always sad to leave. My husband and I joke around that we could buy this unit (it feels like home!) someday — perhaps! We feel very comfortable in this condo. Temperature wise, we were always feeling nice and cool from the hot sun. Everything is updated & simple, the cute décor feels super tropical & relaxing, and the unit is safe & quiet. We love the pools, grills, and other amenities. The fancy shower in this condo is our favorite! Staying here with a toddler is very easy and enjoyable as well. I love that the kitchen is fully stocked with helpful dishes and appliances. We love the closeness to town, and the peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the lanai. Knuston & Associates (property managers) are also very nice about accommodating requests/complaints. Very, very nice place to stay! The only thing I'd like to see in general is assigned parking for Casa De Emdeko guests and residents, but maybe that will happen someday!

Aloha! 🌺 Mahalo nui loa for such a thoughtful and heartfelt review—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re so happy to hear that this condo continues to feel like a home away from home for you, and that your second stay was just as enjoyable as the first. It’s wonderful to know you were comfortable, stayed cool, and enjoyed the tropical décor, updated interior, amenities, and especially that favorite shower! We’re also glad the unit worked well for your family and toddler, and that the fully stocked kitchen, proximity to town, and peaceful atmosphere added to your stay. Thank you as well for the kind words about our team at Knutson & Associates—we’re always happy to assist and truly value our guests. We appreciate your feedback regarding parking; while assigned parking is managed by the association and outside of our control, we completely understand the desire and will certainly pass along the comment when appropriate.
