First I want to say I'm sorry to the folks we could not accommodate over the last few years. Ian was not kind!! Paradise is officially reborn. Our condo is new from floor to ceiling. We added custom cabinets complete with marble tops. The furniture has been updated and even the lanais are new. The whole facility is reborn. Some notes for those interested.
1. Rentals begin on Saturdays at 4 pm, and end at 10 am the following Saturday.
2.Please do not request early check ins or extended stay as the cleaning crew has a strict schedule.
3. I am sorry but no one under the age of 25, and or Florida residents may rent.
4. due to over $100,000 in upgrades and dramatic increases in insurance the rates have risen.

You may find a cheaper place but you wont find an ocean FRONT tat is nicer.

Loved our time here❣️

We were the first tenants since Jim bought the condo, and he is great to work with. The whole complex is very well maintained and the condo is very clean. The view of the beach and gulf is phenomenal and the pool is great too. All of the people are so friendly and there’s a couple of planned activities we really enjoyed. I give the whole stay 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ and would definitely like to go back!

Great condo on awesome beach

Finally got out of Buffalo after snowstorm ---right to the beach; condo is great, clean, with plenty of room, patios off each bedroom & entire length of living room; super convenient to restaurants, the Tiki bar at the Wyndham(used to be Holiday Inn) is a 5 min walk across the sand; also across the street from the local bus pickup & rental bikes. thanks Pat!

Can’t wait to go back!

About an hour after checking in we discovered the air conditioning wasn’t working… within hours Jim had someone there fixing it!!! Owners responded within a min or two to my questions and are so very nice. Condo is very clean, welcoming and the view is spectacular. The pool is nice and beach is so beautiful. So nice having a view out of every window. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Condo, Beautiful Views!!

We can't say enough about what a fabulous time we had on our vacation in July! The condo was beautiful. We loved that each bedroom had it's own balcony and the living room balcony view overlooking the ocean was just phenomenal! One of my favorite things about the condo that isn't described in the description is that there was a small window in the show that you could crank open and see the ocean while showering, talk about relaxing! Pat and Jim were so easy to work with and made our check in and out so easy. The beach wasn't overly crowded, which we enjoyed. We drove down to the pier in the evening to shop and have dinner, which was probably a couple miles away. The condo had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to cook. They had plenty of extra towels, linens and beach towels. I plan on renting from Jim and Pat on our future trips to Ft. Meyers Beach!

Perfect Location

I rely on reviews to make decisions on rental properties so I will try to make this review factual. Any questions we had were answered quickly by the owners. The Island Winds common area is very well maintained and secure (parking lot, outer gates, pool gate, entry doors to the buildings can only be accessed by code or fob provided upon check in). The walk out to the beach is not too far (unless you are carrying a lot - which we were - suggest the owners supply a wagon to haul stuff to/from the beach). The unit itself has a 1980s decor but was clean and had all the necessities. The balcony off the guest bedroom shares space with a very large air conditioning unit but the sunrise views are beautiful. The screened-in balcony off the living room is narrow, only two of us could sit at the table on the balcony. There is a beautiful view of the beach and ocean from the balcony but the height of the chairs aligns with the top of the railing, making it difficult to see the ocean without obstruction. Upon booking we were sent several documents (containing a long list of rules at Island Winds) that we had to sign. This is not made clear until after booking and while we had no issues following the rules, it would be my recommendation that the owner provide all that information upfront for transparency. Grocery store is close by as well as CVS, 7-11, and several restaurants. Overall, I would recommend the property!

Great Beach Staycation!

The owners Jim & Trinny were great. Jim contacted me prior to my arrival and offered some great suggestions for dining and shopping within the area. It was raining upon my arrival which made figuring out how to access the property through the appropriate gate more difficult. However, once I called Jim, he walked me through it within a minutes time. The unit was clean and spacious. It was a throw-back to the 80’s & 90’s, but a pleasant one at that. The biggest issue I had was that the unit is wall-to-wall carpeting. It was clean but I suffer from allergies and therefore, was miserable for the week of our stay. This was my bad as I did not notice this prior to booking. The view from the condo is spectacular as it is a panoramic view from the living room balcony. There are chairs and pool noodles in the unit for your use. We brought our own backpack chairs and cool cabana shade. The stretch on the sand to the beach is quite a bit of a walk so we would make two trips to carry our stuff out. A Beach wagon would be very useful, If you are not flying and can bring one with you. There are plenty of restaurants within the vicinity but you will need a car to get to them. The restaurant, Fresh Catch, about 10 minutes north, overlooks the beach, was excellent. There is one restaurant, Pinchers, that is walking distance (7-10 minutes) through the sand from the condo right on the beach. Publix is about a 5-7 minute drive from the complex. We spent our time mostly relaxing on the beach and watching the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Already planning our return trip for next year to Fort Myers!

Relaxing and comfortable

Enjoyed the condo with my adult children! The property is very well kept however furnishings could stand to be updated. Kind of seemed like a time warp back to the 90’s! But still enjoyed the location, the pool and of course the beach! Beautiful sunsets nearly every evening. Will definitely keep this one on my list to return in the future!

Great location and responsive host

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in this unit. The owners communicated instantly to any questions we had during our stay. It is a lovely condo with spectacular views of the beach and gulf. The front lanai is perfect for viewing the amazing sunsets and the constellations in the evening. Anything you may need for for a memorable vacation is provided including a fully equipped kitchen. We would highly recommend visiting here. You will not be disappointed.

Little Piece of Heaven

My best friend and I rented this condo for 10 days and had a great vacation. The view of the ocean is incredible and we spent most of our indoor time on the lanai which overs the whole front of the condo. Breath taking! The condo kitchen is fully furnished with ANYthing you could possibly need! Beach towels and chairs also provided but you can rent chairs, with covers, on the beach! The pool is lovely and caused us to meet several really nice people. You will love this condo!! We're planning a return visit in April.😊

Great Ft Myers getaway

Excellent experience renting this property. Pat was great to work with from beginning to end. Condo is fully stocked with everything you would ever need. Beautiful sunsets and beach setting. Hope to come back soon!

Panoramic ocean view is worth it all!!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Pat's condo, the first week another couple joined us, and the second week we had the place all to ourselves. We were there in January 2021, so we did have a few days that did not make it up to 70 degrees, while other days it got to almost 80 degrees. Even on days where we decided to relax and read a lot, we didn't feel like we had to even leave our unit because, being on the 9th floor, you could sit out on the large balcony (there were 3 separate balconies, actually) and look right out at the ocean, hear the waves, feel the breeze and be in the comfort and privacy of your own space. We also enjoyed the living room with the doors (2 slider doors in the living room) and windows wide open! It truly was rejuvenating to hear and see the ocean and the beautiful, white, sandy beach. The unit was clean. I think the carpets were even extracted right before we arrived. But, the interior could use some updating...although, that did not hinder our enjoyment of the unit at all. Everything was in good, working order. Pat is a sweet lady, and she was fabulous to work with and communicate with!! We definitely hope to return again sometime in the next couple of years!

Stop looking. Unbeatable in every way.

This place is "island Florida at it's best. We had "the view" plus it was so easy to distance from others. Due, to the biggest beach around "700 foot " to be exact. Pat and her nephew got a refrigerator repair man the day I told them. Come to find out it was only a piece was keeping it from closing. They will recommend you the best restaurants there. Stop your search, ocean view from every room. Need I say more.

A Slice of Heaven!!!!!

The best 7 days of our life! The view from the lanai is incredible every evening a amazing sunset with a cool breeze! Steps from the beach and pool! The condo was clean organized the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen! Everything you need nice towels and linens! Washer and dryer. The furniture was amazing so comfortable with leather recliners, a dream! My favorite the mirrored walls reflected the gulf and brought it in doors ! The shower was great the water pressure strong felt like a spa! I can’t say enough good things about our stay!!! Pat the owner is the sweetie woman she was so helpful! I miss our little slice of Heaven already can’t wait to return in the near future!

"Rare Find"

"Rare Find" description is accurate. Very nice, spacious condo with a great view and beach. We like the south beach area and would definitely rent this condo again! Enjoyed our dealings with Pat... very accommodating.

Florida Getaway

This condo was perfect in every way, beach and pool right outside your door. The grounds were clean and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare your own meals. Paradise with a view

This condo has all the amenites that you will even need--the best of which is a lania that offers a stunning view of the gulf and beautiful sunsets. We stay a month wishing longer and we return each year. There should be a sign on the door as rentals arrive WELCOME TO PARADISE
