You couldn’t choose a more charming home base for your next beach getaway than this pretty, coral pink cottage. Perfectly situated on a quiet, dead end street, you’re steps from the bay and the sandy Gulf Coast beaches.

Inside, you’ll find an open, completely remodeled space, with new flooring, windows, and paint. New furnishings in a soothing blue and gray palette add to the relaxation factor. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances and all the gadgets you need to whip up a feast - or just a snack for the beach. "Grab a barstool at the kitchen island and dine together before heading out." The beach is moments away, and you’re an easy drive from Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island, St. Armands Circle, and Longboat Key.

When you return, relax in the updated central air-conditioning while you stream your favorite shows on the smart TV using your own accounts. If you’re stepping out for the evening, the restaurants and bars of Bridge Street are less than half a mile away. After a day at the beach (and the night at a beach bar), head home to your cozy nest to rest up for another perfect beach day tomorrow. The cottage offers two comfortable bedrooms, one with a twin trundle bed, and the other with a king-sized bed."

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

From beginning to end... we loved it! Very clean! We were there July 7-14 during the hottest days of the year and were always comfortable! Loved the keyless entry option and LOCATION, IMO, is the best area of beach! We were 30 yards from the bay and 100 yards from the beach! Will definitely be going back! THANK YOU!

Love this cute pink beach house. Cleanest property I’ve ever stayed at!! I would love to see an outdoor area with grill added to the property, I know the book about the house said it was a work in progress, everything that has been done so far is 100% perfect. Can’t wait to go back

Everything was perfect. Our only suggestion is to have additional toilet paper at the location. We missed putting the trash can on the curb this morning as we didn’t realize today was trash day. Hope to rent again next year.

BEST BIRTHDAY WEEK EVER!!

I truly was 'Almost Heaven'! My best friend flew in from Pasadena and I drove down from N. GA. From what I gather, most or all of the reviews are for the property before it was renovated. We arrived and honestly thought we must be the first people to stay since the renovation. It was one of the cleanest rentals I have stayed in. It was 93-95 degrees the whole time we were there and we never had one issue with the HVAC. They request that you do not operate the A/C below 70 degrees. We had it on 72 and never had to go lower and I LOVE the A/C on all the time. All the appliances were brand new. There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was awesome! This may be a weird thing to review BUT the washing machine was so good because the spin cycle was so good the clothes were not so wet when they went to dryer so we could wash and dry in an hour! Tv is huge , great screen and plenty of free stuff and very easy to access our streaming accounts. The location is best on the island. You are super close to southern bridge (only two) to the island and further away from all the insane busy northern part. You literally walk out the front door and to your right its 125 feet to the Bay and to the left you are 200 ft from the beach!! Very quiet and peaceful in the evenings and taking an early morning walk or moonlight stroll on Coquina Beach will make you feel like you are truly somewhere else. The only negative thing that comes to mind is that you have to walk through the smaller bedroom to get to the master. The master is nice. The smaller bedroom is sufficient, but we were two adult friends and this was a little awkward. I am sure this is great for families with kids but I cant see two couples sharing. I would stay there again with a boyfriend. I cannot think of a better place for a couple to get away!! Love that its NOT a condo community. We really loved the private home to ourselves. The home across the street is for sale for 9 million and some change... needless to say, we loved walking the neighborhood!

The location is great but the house needs work

This house is managed by Vacasa. We were notified, by them, several months before our stay about the back bedroom having hvac issues. We were told that the house was now listed as a 1 bedroom rather than a 2 bedroom. When I asked for a price adjustment due to paying for a 2 bedroom the Vacasa people were very rude. One told me I could cancel. Another asked how I even got her phone number (It was in her email telling me of the change to a 1 bedroom.) I thought the house would probably be fine since it was October, as that is what Vacasa said. However, the back bedroom was extremely warm. It is a glass sun room that they have put up paneling on the inside over the glass. The portable air conditioning did nothing to cool the room off. It also should be noted that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the back bedroom. So if you plan to put a child in the, twin bedroom, you will have to walk through their room to get to the room with a queen bed. I have stayed in many VRBO locations. This is the first time there were no guest recommendations as far as restaurants or things to do. There were also no instructions for checkout procedures. The house is updated, cute and clean. It is in a great location. But it has some issues and Vacasa did not try to try help with that.

Great spot; hot house

The location was just about as good as it could get. The house is super cute but had a hard time keeping cool. The master bedroom doesn’t have insulation so it couldn’t cool off. We ended up using the sofa bed in the living room as a master bed. Not ideal. Otherwise great spot though.

Sun room turned into a main bedroom

This place is beautiful! Its a walk away from the bay and across the street to the ocean. The location was amazing.! It was very clean and had everything we needed. UNFORTUNATELY we did not read the reviews until after we returned home. All the reviews say the same thing so nothing have been changed or will be changed. The main bedroom is actually a sun porch turned into a bedroom. Their are wall to ceiling outdoor windows that crank open. They tried to glue them shut, put some curtains up, and put a few vents in for the air conditioning. But with all the doors open in the house it couldn’t get under 80s in the day time. But if we shut the main bedroom door it would get to 76 at night. But then the main bedroom room was over 90. We contacted the booking place and they were so nice and helpful and brought a portable air conditioner but it could only go in the kitchen window. Then an air conditioner guy came and looked at it and said there was nothing he could do the unit was too small for the house. So we had to stay out of the main bedroom in the day time. A lady contacted us and was so nice to check on us and said she would move us locations but we were on vacation with friends and they were beside us and we didn’t want to move. She said that they would contact the owners and see about getting us a discount because we were being very nice. We provided them with videos and pictures so they would see what the temperatures were. However I have heard nothing from them.

We had a great time. House is close to everything. They were a little stingy with the mirrors and toilet paper though. Other than those minor complaints, I would definitely rent this house again.

Great Getaway

My daughter, her friend and I had a nice stay at this property. We were looking for sun and found it at the beach just about one block away. It was an easy walk to "downtown" for shopping and dining. The house had all we needed. Would stay again.

Bradenton Beach Feb 2023

The house is in a great location, close to the bay & beach. Traffic is unbelievable this time of year. Bumper to bumper traffic from Noon to 9pm. I rented a bike so I didn’t have to drive during the day. The bedroom in the listing doesn’t look like the photos. It has odd window coverings everywhere to keep the extreme sun out. The cooling system doesn’t work in the bedroom during the day. It needs looked at/more efficient windows need installed instead of the glass louvers. There is an exterior motion sensor light that comes on outside the bedroom and makes it like daylight in the room at night whenever it’s tripped, which is often. After a few days we finally figured out the thermostat-instructions in the unit would be helpful. Don’t expect beach chairs - bring your own. The screen door needs fixed. It would barely open. There were no instructions for checkout anywhere other than ones that didn’t make much sense from an auto-generated VRBO message. I really like the house and it looks like they’ve spent a lot on upgrades but it’s overpriced for the problems it has.

My husband and I, loved our time, at your lovely beach bungalow. You did a beautiful job renovating, this sweet little home. We loved the quietness of the street, the walking distance to the beach, restaurants, the bay view. We loved how close, your home was to Coquina Beach. We were both loved your beach home.

House and location are amazing

The only complaint is how warm the bedroom gets even in the winter. Also if the security lights pop on at night they do light up the bedroom even with shades that stapled up. The house is clean and comfortable and an amazing location. Well supplied.

Beautifully Renovated Cottage Close to Everything

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Almost Heaven! The home is an adorable little cottage steps away from bay and beach. The home is in a perfect location in Bradenton Beach very close to Historic Bridge Street which has a variety of shops, restaurants and tiki bars. At the end of the small street is the bay with a small bench perfect for sitting and watching the boats and dolphins splash if you're lucky (bring your binoculars, you won't regret it). The other end of the street is easy beach access with lifeguard stand and perfect beautiful sunsets. There are a variety of rental shops on the island to rent both beach chairs, bikes, and golf carts for transportation on the island. Additionally, a free trolley will pick you up at the end of the street which runs between Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach, and Anna Maria. Inside the home you can expect a fully renovated kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The kitchen includes wonderful new appliances including a dishwasher as well as all of the basic pots, pans, and dishes to prepare meals. In terms of sleeping arrangements, the home is listed as a two bedroom with a primary bedroom including twin trundle bed and a good size closet. The master bedroom is located through the first bedroom on what was once the former enclosed porch of the home. A wonderful queen bed and updated furniture are within the master bedroom. As stated in other reviews, this room does get warm throughout the day as it is the former enclosed porch of the home and does not have the best insulation. My wife and I visited in mid-November so this was not a problem for us as the temperature never got too hot. Also to mitigate this problem, ceiling fans and a separate box fan are both provided. It does seem the owner is aware of this and I can only imagine that they will continue to improve the bedroom as they continue their renovation process. To round out the sleeping arrangements, within the living room there is an additional sofa bed that can pull out into a twin. Overall the house was everything we had hoped for and more. This home will provide a perfect getaway for any couple or small family with children in the wonderful kid friendly town.

Excellent location but communication was poor

The location of the house is wonderful especially if you are looking to be by the beach. VRBO was easy to book through and had a trouble free listing/booking. As always.🙂 The house is one of vacasa's homes so there is no one owner. This is the first time we booked through vacasa and we think it is so much easier to book when something is privately owned. For the most part our stay was fine and the house was fine. It had what we needed although the air conditioning didn't work in the back bedroom of the house. It was hard to get a hold of anyone for information because I was always sent to a call center. Other than that, we enjoyed our trip!

We had a great time!! We had a problem with ants, and with the thermostat being locked. But communicating with Vacasa was great. The location was perfect. Furnishings were nice / comfortable. There is one box fan but bring another with you. Other than that, GREAT house!
