Just a leisurely stroll away lies the pristine sugar-white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, inviting you to bask in the warmth of the Florida sun. Dive into relaxation at one of Sandpiper Cove's five refreshing pools, two of which are heated for year-round enjoyment, or unwind with a soothing soak in one of three inviting hot tubs.
Feeling active? Challenge friends and family to a round of golf at the 9-hole pitch and play golf course, or hit the courts for a game of tennis. After a day of adventure, tantalize your taste buds at the beloved Louisiana Lagniappe Restaurant, a local favorite just moments away.

Sandpiper Cove offers an array of amenities to enhance your stay, including 43 acres of resort grounds, 1,100 feet of private beachfront, six tennis courts, and the vibrant atmosphere of The Sand Flea Beach Bar & Grill.
Please note that for our pet-friendly guests, a pet fee of $100 plus tax per pet is applicable, with a maximum of two dogs permitted, each weighing up to 45 pounds. Regrettably, no cats are allowed. Additionally, there is a $10 grounds fee per pet, payable in cash upon check-in.

We will be back!

It had everything we needed for our first beach vacation. Walked to the beach every day, swam in the heated pools, loved the golf and pickle ball! We will be back next year.

Great location with beautiful beach, lots of activities and friendly community feel. The Par 3 course was a great bonus and we really enjoyed working on our short game. We will be back again!

A Homey Community

We loved the people staying at Sandpiper Cove Condos. Everyone was very friendly. They have lots to do if you want to take part. Pickleball, Tennis, a great little pitch/putt golf course that is in great shape. Our Condo was very clean and had a nice view of the pool and 9th hole. The second floor was not a problem for us and our two dogs loved the walks we took, as it is a great place for that. A couple of maintenance issues which are not a big deal and a quick fix. The kitchen faucet is loose and needs to be tightened at the countertop. The front door hinges need oiled. The squeaking drove me nuts when opening and closing.

Cute 1 Bedroom

Great property. Very clean with extra towels and blankets. It is in the perfect location and a quick walk to the beach. The only complaint i have is the bedroom needs a curtain to keep out the stairway light.

Sandpiper Cove 2005!

What a hidden gem! The house was decorated cute. The bed and living room furniture was comfortable. Having access to the beach and chairs was amazing. The location was perfect for what we did. Near by places to eat were great. The pools were nice too. We have already told others about this and will be back.

Great Time!

My husband and I had a great time at Sandpiper Cove. We should have requested a ground floor unit because the stairs were difficult for us as seniors. Maybe include that in the description of the property. Otherwise, everything went wonderfully!

Longer walk to the beach than expected

The unit was clean and nice, and the property manager was easy to work with. The only disappointment was the disconnect in the indicated distance from the beach in the vrbo listing versus the actual walking distance.

Best Equipped Kitchen Ever

In 35 years of various State snowbird rental’s this is the first time we did not need to the go out & purchase or replace something that we regularly use for the kitchen. Even all the knives were sharp! This unit was spotless, all the furniture & appliances were high quality. Would definitely came back another year.

Destin - Sandpiper cove

Overall we loved the place. It was clean, the place was cute, check in was easy and having the beach chairs and umbrella set up was one of the nicest features! The beach is a bit of a walk as you're on the far side of the complex but not having to carry the chairs made it worth it. The bedroom does run a little warmer than the rest of the condo which was a little rough at night and I would recommend bringing your own firestick/roku or something for the living room tv. The complex has so many amenities, and this place was very close to one of the pools and just a short walk to the pickleball/boccee courts. Would stay there again for sure!

Easy check in process. Great place to stay with the family. Close to the beach and not far from several good restaurants.

This condo was located close to a pool, but to get to the beach, we took the car. I knew we had 2 beach chairs and an umbrella available for use, but didn’t know we had to check-in at the beach to reserve them. That would have been helpful information! There’s a few suggestions I have for improvement that would make the stay better. The bedroom does not get very cool, so bring a fan! A ceiling fan in the bedroom would help keep it a little cooler. There’s no basic cooking materials provided—salt, pepper, sugar, flour. I’ve stayed in many places that provide those and it’s so nice to have. You can’t hang wet clothes/towels over the balcony railing, but there’s also no place provided to hang wet items. A few hooks on the outside wall would be helpful. A map of the property would have been nice to see. I would like to know where the other pools and hot tubs were, and what else was on the property we could have used. The dish drainer didn’t have a tray to sit on, so we had to use a towel. We weren’t going to run the dishwasher constantly, so we hand washed most of the time. There was a lot of cooking equipment available to use. Overall, we had a nice stay, enjoyed the area, and would stay there again.

Spring Break

This is a wonderful location for Spring Break with family or friends of any age. We enjoyed that it was so close to the beach with Sandpipers own gate entrance for vehicles and also a pedestrian entrance, as well as assistance with chairs and umbrellas while at the beach. This was very helpful so we did not have to carry our own chairs to the beach. My teens loved the 3 par golf course and tennis courts as well as having access to multiple pools in the park. Many fun activities to do in Destin for all ages! The unit itself was clean and comfortable for all of us. We would go back for sure!
