Perfect condo in Winston-Salem!

We had a great weekend at this condo! Easy parking and check-in, very clean, comfy bed, and a location that can’t be beat. We could walk to Old Salem and UNCSA, plus a few coffee shops and restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

great alternative to hotel stay for WFU parents

We enjoyed our stay--the condo had everything we needed and Aundra was very responsive to our needs and questions. The location was a little different than what the app shows initially before booking; it's actually south of downtown, but still a short, easy 15 min. drive to visit our son at Wake Forest Univ. The charming Farmers Market across the street on Saturday was a delightful surprise.

Check in info

I was given wrong check in info by someone at VRBO. They should be fired. When we got to property, code we were given would not work. I tried to contact owner through VRBO and was given 10 numbers but none worked. It was hours before we could get inside. Owner finally gave me correct code which I should have had first. Poor management. I plan to stay in hotels from now on. I have one reserved in December which will be my last.

Betty was a nightmare. She was given the correct information at 9am when check in was at 4pm. She did not read the check in information properly and when I tried to assist she was quite rude and testy. But to top it all off she left FECAL matter all over the place. She ruined linens due to her extremely bad hygiene practices. She even broke the toilet seat. If you are the host in December I would cancel her before it comes. She was by far the worst tenant I have ever had. I wouldn’t recommend her to hotels who have professional cleaners on the payroll. Not only was she nasty physically but she was personally as well. I wish I could post the screen shots of our messages. She had issues with check in due to her incompetence not VRBO’s and definitely not mine. She disrespected me and my property and as hard as we hosts try to ensure our guests have a great experience she would be one to make you hang it all up. How do you get fecal matter on the back of the toilet? Why would you use my towels to wipe your fecal matter? Unsanitary and inhumane is what she is. If I could have given her negative stars I would.

This is a safe neighborhood - located in the same parking lot as the SOA dorms and a doctors office. It’s right across the street from a weekly farmers market and a locally owned souls food restaurant, District 925. The condo is also surrounded by a nice greenway and tennis courts. The local police department gas station is within two minutes so you have a strong police presence and sense of security.

This condo is spacious and has beautiful hardwood floors. It’s located in a building with a wine restaurant at the bottom! Quiet building with private neighbors. Centrally located to all hospitals and schools in the area.
