Beautiful property, difficult process
We stayed here for one night.It's a beautiful house. The neighbourhood is great, too--less of a tourist area, but still with fantastic food and a lovely little coffee shop nearby. It isn't beside the beach, but I would go back to the neighbourhood.
Unfortunately, we had a very challenging check in process. The owner never provided the PIN to the lock box. After the check-in time (4 pm), when we had been waiting at the property, a cleaner arrived and started cleaning the unit, which was very dirty. She let us in. It seems the owner had not remembered we had a booking. The cleaner then needed another hour to clean and it wasn't particularly clean after.
The landlord tried to claim they had been delayed because of a late checkout of a prior renter, but the cleaning lady told us she'd been told there was no renter on that day until we arrived.
In the end, if the property owner was better organized I think it could have been a good experience, but it wasn't great.
