Cute place. They had awesome games to play inside and outside such as air hockey and cornhole with tons of board games. Kitchen was fully stocked. Bathrooms included all the toiletries that one would need if they forgot any of theirs. Lots of extra blankets. Beds comfortable. Big Great comfy couches. It’s a drive to the beach not a walk but still good location for our needs. They have a beautiful tail with super special memorial and fun sites to see (children’s bridge)

Turn right when you leave the property and you are minutes from some of the area's most beautiful state beaches. Turn left and you will find the harbor, local shops, and several great restaurants. Directly across the street is Bodega Dunes State Park, which made it easy to enjoy walks and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery.The home itself was charming, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped for families. The large dining table became the center of many great conversations and meals. The bedrooms were comfortable, the beds were cozy, and there were plenty of games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Every space felt inviting and designed for relaxing together after a day exploring the coast.If you are looking for a comfortable gathering place in an unbeatable location, this home is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.

Fun time

We had a pretty good time. Check in was easy, host was great, beds were comfortable. I loved the small town. We wished it would've been easier to get to the beach, but we managed. We ate at The Tides restaurant from The Birds, we saw seals, sea lions, wild turkeys, and deer. Had a coyote right outside the house one night. Went to sandy beaches and rocky beaches. Went wine tasting. It was fun.

Great time at the Bodega House

We had a great time at the Bodega House. My family used to have a house at Wrights Beach so we know Bodega Bay well but we didn't go to Salmon Creek very often. The house location was perfect, it's on the main highway but set back enough that it wasn't an issue. We were able to easily cross the road to take the trail to the Bell Tower and a little coffee shop. There is also a trail to walk to Salmon Creek. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the games and the upstairs loft. The loft could use a light and some other things to sit on but it was still fun for them. We will definitely be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the BEST place I have ever rented! ! It is right next to hwy 1, perfect location. It is less than 5 mins to those famous restaurants eg fisherman cove, Poud crab, and the tides, and all other popular local candy stores. And we particularly drive to beaches daily and some are less than 5 mins drive away, it makes the trip so easy for us! Bodega head is like 10mins away and Petaluma historic downtown is like 45 mins away . The house is spacious, huge living room, big kitchen and bedrooms. I have a little kid who had wonderful time playing in door daily. He enjoyed the sunroom and loft area so much. This place is newly remodeled with great taste and very clean. The staff is very helpful, they picked up my call and provided quick solution like 9pm. The big game room with sand bags is wonderful for little kid. Every morning, we wake up with seeing cows and horse from next door ranch with hill views, it is just very beautiful and fun! This place can easily fit 6 people, and I would highly recommend it if you plan to go to bodega bay! My only suggestion is to place a clock in living room.

Disappointed and frustrated

The property in general seemed to be good… however when we arrived and started getting settled into the bedrooms, we quickly found one of the rooms to be over run with moths. So much so that we had to close off the bedroom and not use it the entire time. I did reach out to the property manager the next day. They came out and hung a fly strip in the closet of that room, but we still were unable to use that bedroom for our stay. We also found small cockroaches in the kitchen. They even managed to get into my son’s medical supply bag!! Like I mentioned to the property management company, I understand these things can happen, but it’s not okay to rent a house out in these conditions. Especially at the price we paid. When I sent them a message to let them know, we simply got a “thanks for the feedback” no apology for the inconvenience or anything. Truly disappointed and wouldn’t stay there again.

The Bodega House is a brand new rental and we had no evidence of any pest issues prior to your stay. The house has been scheduled for pest control services to investigate and treat your report of moths and other pests. We also issued you a sizable refund for the issues you encountered. Our family enjoyed our yearly Bodega Bay visit. Home was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The property was huge the kids enjoyed exploring the grounds the neighbors goats and the nearby horses. Lots to do at the property horse shoes, corn hole and air hockey games, plus so many board games. So many different beaches within a few minute drive. Great place to stay!!

The house was great! Beautiful, clean and great location. Convenient to beaches and town. Pretty hillside view and peek of ocean. Nice private setting. Comfortable beds. Really well appointed red with everything you need. Including air hockey, games, etc for down time at house. Great kitchen and grill set up. Well labeled instructions. Although we did have trouble figuring out the wood stove. Thanks for a great time!
