We recently stayed at this property and had an excellent experience. As this was our first Vrbo reservation, we were pleased to find it met our needs as local residents seeking a spacious alternative to a standard hotel room for our staycation. The host provided outstanding service, offering prompt and helpful communication both prior to booking and throughout our stay. The check-in process was seamless, and the property's inviting layout ensured a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Overall, our group thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations.

Condo is as advertised. This was our family's 2nd stay in this large unit. We held our family reunion here and it was perfect for our multi-generational gathering. This was an excellent value considering the size of the unit and access to Paniolo Grenns amenities.

Buehler Ohana

Maintenance issues. Broken things tvs not work and poor internet. Maybe update router and too many other routers on same frequency. Couches were super comfy. Just 1 leg rest not working. And front load washer moldy. Overall enjoyed are stay. Just the correcting maintenance issues would make it an excellent stay. Mahlo nui loa

Hi James, Thank you so much for your stay and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely glad to hear that you and your group overall enjoyed your time at Buehler Ohana and appreciated the comfort of the space. That said, we were a bit surprised and disheartened to see a 3-star rating, especially considering the kind messages you sent during your trip — including “we love the place and are having a great time” and “by no means complaining, just wanted you to be aware.” We take those messages seriously and appreciate guests keeping us in the loop so we can address any issues quickly. Had we known these small items were going to impact your public review so significantly, we absolutely would have sent our handyman out same-day to take care of them. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience, and we’re always working to improve based on thoughtful guest input. We hope future guests will read all of our reviews and see that we respond quickly and thoroughly when we know something needs attention. Every stay matters deeply to us, and we’ll continue going above and beyond to make sure each one is special. Mahalo

Ohana Time. Fist vacay in 6 years!!!

This was an epic vacation that had been planned and attempted over the years since 2014. COVID messed ups the last try but finally 2025 we had success. We found this home and thought there was no way it could possibly hold all of us but we were wrong. 6 bedroom and 4 baths, pool onsite, We were close to family who live in Waikoloa and close to all the activities we may have thought about doing. The owners were great with any issues we had, which none are worth mentioning. Home was perfect, temp was perfect, the vacation was perfect. 10 stars. Mahalo!!!!

Family Vacation

We recently stayed here for an 8 night family vacation with a group of 11, 8 adults and 3 children. The good: The property is in a great location, just 10 minutes from A Bay and 15 from Hapuna Beach. The town of Waikola Village has a grocery store, coffee shop, and a few restaurants. The unit itself is large and has two assigned parking spots, and we had no trouble finding a third guest parking spot right across from the unit. The bad: The property left a lot to be desired and feels tired overall. The property really needs to be deep cleaned; all the baseboards are dirty, closet tracks were full of dirt, the washers have mildew in them, and there were dead cockroaches in one of the bedroom closets. Of the six bedrooms in the unit, not one bed could be considered comfortable. They were all old, squeaky, and hard as rock. One bed, a queen bed that would have ideally slept two adults, was so uncomfortable that we had to put two children in the bed instead as it was unbearable for any fully grown individual. The bedroom right off the living room had a broken exterior lock so all that was keeping it locked was a little chain latch. The kitchen had no dishtowels or washrags, so we were told to use bathroom towels. The batteries were dead in the AC remote for the living room and there were no extra batteries in the house. After trying TV remote batteries, finally was able to get the remote working to turn off the AC. Overall, we would not choose to stay here again.

Hi Rachel, Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your thoughts. We hope you’ve had a wonderful few months since your vacation and that your time here was filled with meaningful memories with your family. We held off on responding right away because we wanted the time to make meaningful updates. Since your stay, we’ve been able to make some major improvements around the items you mentioned. Your feedback helped us focus on what matters most to our guests, and we’re truly grateful for that. We’d love the opportunity to host you again, and we hope future guests can see how dedicated we are to continually enhancing the experience for everyone who stays with us. Warmest aloha,

We are a family of 5 from Utah. We love Hawaii so much we bought a place so we can visit often, and bring friends and family with us. We hope to share our place so guests can make lasting memories like we have many times over.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We love the small town feel of Waikoloa village. It’s a hidden gem with many great restaurants and easy access across the island.

We also love the square footage of the unit as you can bring multiple families to vacation together.

この宿泊施設の特徴

One entire unit with 6 beds and 4 bathrooms really sets us apart, and at a reasonable price point!
