Spring break trip to the mountains

We had a wonderful time in Granby. The resort is aging and rundown, but the unit we stayed in was so cute and cozy with a great mountain view from the balcony. Our son loved the arcade and pool. It’s nice that there are other towns nearby, plenty to do!

Wedding weekend

A magical weekend surrounded by family and friends. Our accommodations were exactly what we needed and included our essential wedding party, a tall and handsome dog named Bode. We were able to have coffee on the patio, get ready for our big day and store boxes of wedding goods all in this cozy place. I would absolutely stay again.

The unit was amazing, very clean, updated & everything you’d need for your stay. The property on which the unit is located was a little run down, restaurant & pool were closed frequently over the week, outside trash bins were overflowing in parking lot & the non smoking policy was not followed or in forced around the property & due to no AC it made it difficult to keep windows open.

Everything we needed.

Everything we needed was there. I was worried about not having air conditioning but it really wasn’t needed! We had a wonderful 4 days in Rocky Mountain National Park!

Everything we wanted for a snow winter get away

Wonderful vacation! We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The loft was clean with all the essentials. We cooked most meals - there’s is a City Market grocery store within walking distance. The view from loft MAGICALLY SPECTACULAR. we used the fireplace as we cozied up a couple nights watching movies with snow falling outside. The property had all the amenities we sought: pool, hot tubs, gym, arcade and restaurant. The loft is in excellent condition with wilderness decor. Furniture in great condition and no pet odors at all. Beds comfortable with velvety covers. We went outside a lot to sled the very snowy hills and built a snowman. 10 minutes away from lots of activities at the YMCA such as ice skating and dog sledding. Also went to Frasier about 15 minutes away for snow tubing. Near winter park and the national Rocky Mountains. This stay was everything we wanted and more!

Fall Colorado Adventure

The property was as listed, clean & had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay. One suggestion would be a curtain/ blinds on the balcony door for privacy . The grounds of the Inn itself could use some updating. It did not disappoint.

Wonderful location - Great "home" away from home!

We truly appreciated the condo that was clean and comfortable and met all our needs! We really were grateful for the expandable table, beautiful view from the balcony, pet-friendly room, and the amenities of the Inn itself. Using the laundry room allowed us to pack light and the pool and outdoor activities on site were welcoming after a day of hiking. This location is close to many places to shop/eat/hike and is only a short drive from Arapaho National Park and RMNP for bigger hikes and more gorgeous scenery. Definitely would stay here again!

Good condo but location has seen better days

The owners are great, I have no complaints about them. And their condo looks as advertised and is reasonably comfortable. But the property around the condo is a bit run down, old and not in the most scenic environs. And this is a condo, not a detached unit. (It was clearly once a roadside, non-luxury hotel that got turned into condos.) The cleaning was a little lax--again, we don't hold the unit owners responsible, but it was a bit disappointing. We needed a place that could accommodate our cat (long story), so we obviously weren't expecting spic and span, but the smell of dog (particularly in the loft) was overwhelming and there seemed to be a lot of allergens in the carpeting and on the furniture--perhaps because it had been a long time since there was a deep cleaning? We actually wound up leaving a night early because my wife just couldn't stop with the runny nose and watery eyes no matter how much Claritin she took. We got to go to most of the places we drove up for (Grand Lake, Winter Park/Blue Sky Spa), but we felt the unit we rented through Vrbo wasn't really conducive for relaxing, so it made sense to head home. I would recommend this place for people heading up to Winter Park or Ski Granby for a budget weekend ski trip. The price is reasonable and if you're not spending a lot of time on the property, you'll probably get more value out of it than we ultimately did.

Love the location!

The grocery store is just across the street from the condo. It’s also so close to the Grand Lake and other trails. We love the heated pool too! Overall we had a great time and will book again!

Excellent spot with amenities

We had an excellent stay here and enjoyed the location, comfort and amenities. The only negative is the washer/dryers, they are not in the unit, but shared and one of them worked wonderfully the other continually ate coinage and it is some horrible process to try to get refunded. At the end of the day what's $5 we just used the one that worked. Also the game room is managed by some other company. Again this is NOTHING against the property owners they were amazing and I didn't even bug them with these issues. The unit was clean, comfortable and relaxing. We had a wonderful time exploring Rocky Mtn National Park from here. I wouldn't hesitate to book this again. The pool and hot tubs were relaxing and we took advantage of the outdoor grill. We did not try the restaurant on site, but it smelled good. The only surprise to me was no A/C, then I pulled up the weather forecast and nighttime temps were in the 40s the open window was plenty. Excellent stay, would book again.

Perfect Place

This condo is perfect! Just as it is listed. I really appreciated the a/c humidifer since my wife nose dries out due to the altitude. We went up for 4th of july. The rodeo right next door had fireworks on July 3 and we were avle to watch from the parking lot. The king bed is comfortable along with the murphy bed. Would absolutely stay here again.

Grandby Silvercreek inn

We thought the lodge and room were great! We did not realize there was no air conditioning though. We also came out to the Rocky's of course to see the park and to also do some off roading in our Jeep but a lot of the roads were closed so we left a day early. Other than that the room was great!

Staying in Granby

The property was really nice. We didn’t fully read the description (which is on us) as we expected a stand-alone building. It’s located in essentially a hotel. The town of Granby itself is a cute little place, plenty of places to go hiking near by. Only a few dog friendly restaurants, but nearby towns (Winter Park) was very dog friendly. Overall a great stay.

We are the owners and absolutely love our comfortable and spacious condo, it is perfect for our family! We spend a lot of time in the mountains and absolutely love the Fraser Valley. We call our home, The Loft at Silver Creek. It is absolutely a paradise with beautiful mountain views, a cozy and very comfortable condo that makes you feel right at home.

There is so much to do in the area with great 4-wheeling trails. We love to hike so we use the many hiking trails every time we go up, the hiking trails also double as snowshoe trails in the winter. We also snowmobile and there are plenty of trails for that too! We love Granby Ranch Ski Resort! It is a great ski mountain at a very affordable price! They also have tubing every Saturday night! Granby is perfectly centered - only 15 minutes one direction to Winter Park and 15 minutes the other way to Grand Lake, and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Our condo is located in The Inn at Silver Creek, and it is complete with an indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool, so have fun swimming year-round! They also have 4 hot tubs, 2 full racquetball courts, a fitness center with NEW cardio and weight machines, as well as free weights. Don't forget to enjoy the Sauna, especially after a great day of skiing. The resort has so many on-site features including a NEWLY remodeled Steakhouse, Bar (Harry Lemons), beauty salon, game room for children, and one for the adults in Harry Lemons. For skiers, snowboarders, and snowshoers, there is a full-service on-site ski rental shop! You will enjoy customer service from everyone at the resort, they are fantastic!

We couldn't be happier with our resort condo and we would love to share it with you!

We decided to buy this property when our daughter moved to Colorado awhile back. She works for Vail Resorts, loves the area and has decided to make it her home. So of course, we decided to make it our home away from home! We love the outdoors and all that it has to offer! It was the perfect choice!
