Beautiful property on the water! We saw dolphins and a sea otter from the porch. Everything we wanted for a relaxing vacation, comfy and cozy. Everything went perfectly smoothly!! We had a great time! Thank you, Landie!

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful home a block away from the cape lookout ferry. The home is well kept and has all the necessities for a fun week on the sound. Landie was easy to reach when needed and was eager to assist with any request. The home is in great shape and is well equipped. My only advice, which applies to any stay on the sound, is to have some bug spray for day’s with little breeze as the mosquitos are the size of Volkswagen beetles and could carry you off if they wanted (every place we have vacationed on the Pamlico or Albemarle has the same issue when the breezes die down). The views from the porch are fantastic, we had dolphins just out from the canal on a couple occasions and the fishing was fun from the bank. There were two kayaks available to use but we didn’t venture out on them during this trip (although we may during a future stay if we’re lucky enough to visit again). All and all this is a great home in a convenient location that is close enough to Morehead City and Atlantic Beach to make it a great launch point for many activities. Thanks for allowing my family to borrow your home away from home for a fantastic vacation!

We are so happy your family had such a great stay and got to enjoy so much of what makes this spot special, from fishing along the bank to dolphins right outside the canal! And your description of the mosquitoes absolutely made me laugh. 😂 Those still, breezeless days on the sound are definitely when they decide to show off! It was truly a pleasure hosting your family, and we’d love nothing more than to have you back. Hopefully next time you’ll get those kayaks out on the water! Thank you again for choosing our little corner of the coast for your family vacation. ❤️
