We've been vacationing on AMI for 7 perfect yrs and decided to take a 2nd "bonus" trip this year. Check-in was at 4pm, had asked for early check-in but due to "extra Covid protocol cleaning" it wasn't available and that was fine. After a fun day at the beach we went to get keys and walked into our unit to find it hadn't been cleaned, beds unmade, dirty towels in bathroom etc. Spoke with owner, got excuses vs. apologies, and a $50 gift card to grab dinner while it was cleaned & they let us return at 7pm. A few more blips along the way, door lock issues, WiFi down for a day, TV didn't work in living room, wash machine was finicky etc. The location is excellent; 1 block to beach & the pool was awesome! Due to this being a short 4 day trip, the interruptions were a bit inconvenient and we agreed upon an add'l refund to include cleaning fees.
