Pros: Filled with everything you need, a roof terrace and amazing view and a real Spanish house not something that pretends to be one. Fantastic host and location perfect for shops, restaurants and beach. We booked for next year so that says it all.

Excellent weekend!

We loved our stay in Casitas Kunderbut. Mareen couldn't have been more helpful. The location was the best in the city, Just a short walk from all the best sights, and the house was lovely. Thanks for having us!

It was nice to live in the old part of the town, and to be able to walk to everything. We had a really great holiday! And Mareen was a very nice host, who did a lot to make us feel completely at home.

Pros: Really nice tiny little house right in the center of Alicante in a typical spanish neighbourhood. The house is full of lovely details and every floor and corner has his own caracter. You can reach the beach in a 10 minutes walk trough the very nice old town of Alicante and bus and subway station are right around the corner. It was a very pleasant and relaxating stay and we can recomend Mareens Townhouse to everyone.

Pros: If you want to relax in nice surroundings, with the best views over the city, this is the right place to stay. Beautiful apartment in three floors with a terrace on top. Everything you need is on hand. Feels like you are in a small village, but walking the steps down for a five minutes, you are right in the town center with beautiful architecture and the lovely beach! Owners very welcoming and taking care of what ever needed.

Too cold for dinner ..it was November. Nice area ,,close to everything . We enjoyed to buy food at the market only 2 minutes away . Mareen was very helpful and we enjoyed our gastronomic tour in Alicante We will come back next year 😀

Pros: My husband and I spent 5 lovely days in Alicante in this well-situated and pleasing apartment. The owner met us the first night, had a bottle of wine there to greet us, and took a personal interest in seeing that we felt comfortable. She even took time the next day to show us around a bit and tell us some of the history of the city. The apartment had everything we needed and the views from the terrace were simply stunning. Further, it was easy walking distance to the museums, many restaurants and cafes, the waterfront, and the Santa Barbara castle.

Pros: We had a very Nice stay at Mareens house in Alicante, placed in the old beautiful part of the city. The view is amazing on top of the house and its close to everything you need. Mareen gave us a good welcome and explained everything we needed to know. She really gave that little extra to make it perfect for us. Thank you and if we come back we Will try to stay at your place Again. There was really everything you need in the house, even a welcome bottle of wine! Beautiful.

Beautiful Casita

This is a gem of a property. Traditional Spanish house with quirky decor. Exceptionally well equipped for a long or short stay. Very comfortable bed, good modern shower and a beautiful view of city, sea and castle from the sunny roof terrace. Great location close to transport links, fresh food market and restaurants. It is in quite an elevated position and the house has steep stairs but it’s all very manageable if you are reasonably mobile. We stayed a whole month and loved it. Excellent communication with property owner and a very warm welcome.

Pros: The location in the old part of Alicante (El Barrio) is perfect with close proximity to all the restaurants, cafés, bars and attractions like cathedrals and museums. The house is in an elevated position which gives a stunning view over the town from the roof terrace and we spent many hours happily relaxing here enjoying the views of St Barbara Castle and the sea. The house is comprehensively equipped with everything needed for your stay. Mareen is a lovely hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed our day out with her and daughter Emma, being shown the sights, sounds and tastes of Alicante. We would love to return in the future for an extended stay at Casita Kunterbunt.

Pros: Spent a fabulous 10 days here in June the house is absolutely gorgeous everything you could possibly need is there and the views from every level are amazing the castle lit up at night from the roof terrace was our favourite we took advantage of Mareen's airport transfer so a stress free start to our holiday Mareen gave some handy info on where to eat shop ect and there was a nice bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived the town with plenty of everything shops bars restaurants is 5 minutes walk away 15 minutes walk back (uphill) and the tram station about 2 minutes away sadly we didn't get to spend time with Mareen as she was kept very busy having a baby who was born 2 days after we arrived we did get to meet baby Emma before we left so if your looking for something a bit different to just a normal package holiday we would highly recommend casita kunterbunt

Pros: This very charming little house is just perfect if you want to experience Alicante city and get a feeling of how it is to live there. The location in the old part "El Barrio" with close proximity to all the restaurants, cafés, bars and attractions like cathedrals and museums is just perfect. The house is in the highest parts of El Barrio which gives a stunning view over the town, the St Barbara Castle and the sea - we have spent many wonderful evenings on the roof-top terrace. Mareen is i really lovely hostess that makes your stay nice and smooth. The house is fine for two persons (not more) and since the location is high you must be prepared on uphill road and stairs.
