The stylish house can be entered from two sides: either into an impressive foyer over 8 metres high or directly into the spacious living-dining area. It houses a long wooden table for unforgettable evenings with delicious food and lively debates as well as comfortable sofas for relaxing in front of an exciting film. Right next to it you will find an open, modern and fully equipped kitchen, which still has a rural character thanks to lovingly integrated elements: for example, the beautiful brick sink or the wonderfully warm Aga. Those who are tired from the excitement of the day can retire to one of the four double bedrooms. One of them is on the ground floor, while the others are on the upper floor and can be reached via a beautiful wooden staircase. They are all bright and cosy down to the last loving detail, guaranteeing sweet dreams. One of the rooms is located in the attic and has no lock, making it perfect for two children. A highlight of the villa's three bathrooms are the individual tiles and walls in Mediterranean colours as well as the brick-built shower and bathtub areas. It is sure to give you the wonderful feeling of a spa experience at home.



Villa Escanellas is nestled in an idyllic landscape that is well worth a visit: for example, the romantic artists' town of Artà is just 2 kilometres away. It is popular with tourists and yet has managed to retain its wonderfully authentic Mallorcan atmosphere. The narrow streets, many small galleries, excellent restaurants and cafés and the numerous sights from the old cloister to the museum set the stage for an all-round successful day trip. If you want to go to the beach, then perhaps take your hire car to Canyamel, around 12 km away. Surrounded by green hills, the beach has an excellent infrastructure with lifeguards, toilets and restaurants. You can sometimes even spot wild geese and other water birds at a nearby stream.
