The view was absolutely stunning!! We throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon. The location was perfect! Loved walking the beach, sun bathing on the deck, and listening to the ocean was just incredible!

This place was phenomenal! The pictures accurately represent the beautiful view through the big windows. I loved how you were able to enjoy both the sunset on your right and sunrise on your left driectly from the condo. Can't get closer to the ocean and the relaxing sound of waves while sleeping. Everything was clean and well presented. A highlight for me was the super comfortable mattress and bedding for a good nights sleep.

Excellent location! Perfect for a weekend getaway. It was even better than advertised. Great place to sit and relax while listening to the crashing waves of the ocean from your own private balcony. Close drives & walking distance from stores, restaurants, & bars. Definitely going to be coming back in the future.

Tanning deck right outside the front door with a beautiful view.
Best kitchen table ever. There’s an amazing view from every angle.

Amazing stay -- real comment

This was a great place to stay with my friends while we romped around in Malibu/LA. The place was VERY clean and homey. I would recommend it to anyone and am hoping to use it again next year!

Perfect beach location

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Everything was great! It was very clean and neatly appointed. The balcony was the perfect place to watch and hear the ocean waves. The windows around the dining table with the screens open were wonderful. We will definitely stay here again our next visit.

Gorgeous space and location

Simply loved our time at this condo. The view truly couldn't get better anywhere you stayed. It felt like heaven. Cozied up in front of the gas fireplace and could hear the waves outside. Short walking distance to the pier, coffee spots and restaurants. Appreciated the amenities as well. LOVED this place and only hope to stay there again one day if our travels bring us back to Malibu.

Little gem in Malibu.

My family of four had a great stay in this rental. The place itself has a cool and casual beach feel and the views cannot be beat. Waking up to the ocean literally steps from your door is what a vacation is all about... A true change of scenery. Also, we were very pleased with the cleanliness of this rental as well as it's great location within Malibu. The owner was a pleasure to work with...very responsive and efficient. Would definitely recommend it as well as stay here again when in Malibu!!!

Beautiful Beach Bungalow

WOW!! The place was unbelievably spot on!! It was exactly as portrayed in the pictures I saw on line!! It was hidden away behind a restaurant & tall hedge & secluded from the PCH. And inside, it was picture perfect; clean and comfortable and stocked with all the ementities of home. Four adults stayed comfortably. The views were spectacular! Ocean front... the place was right ON the beach....it's own beach. The waves crashed just below our deck. We could walk to everything we needed or drive a short distance. We are already booking to return next year!! Loved, loved, loved the place & our stay!!!

Malibu dump

The building is very old and falling apart,I would not recomend anyone staying here. It looks like they are waiting for the next storm to destroy the building and collect the insurance . Very disapointed.

Bucket List Item Exceeded Expectations

My husband & I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a trip down the PCH. One of my “bucket list” items was to stay on Carbon Beach in Malibu. This little gem in the heart of all things Malibu was the perfect spot! The apartment was very warm and comfortable. I spent the mornings on the balcony watching the break of dawn turn into sunrise. During the day we walked the beach, gathering rocks and sea glass. We were delighted when we spotted a school (about 8) of dolphins swimming alongside us. That evening we saw to seal pups on the beach. The location cannot be beat! It is very close to all sorts of restaurants, and shopping at both Malibu Pier and Malibu Country Mart. The rental itself it fully loaded with everything we needed for our stay, including towels, beach towels, a kitchen with all the gadgets, flatware, pots and glassware we needed. The owner was very reachable and answered every one of my questions with a quick and complete response. Thanks to making this part of our trip down the PCH my very favorite, my husband had to pull me away!

4th stay here. Best location on the water, easy walks everywhere including Nobu and Malibu Pier. Cruz - property manager is fantastic, quick to respond and super helpful!

Relaxing getaway on the water

Really enjoyed our stay here, very cozy unit that is as close to the ocean as you can possibly get. The dining room view in particular was breath-taking, and we enjoyed watching the surfers near the pier each morning while we had breakfast. The host was very responsive and helpful for the duration of our stay.

If you’re looking for a sunset view and miles of beach to walk right out your back door, this is not the place for you. The tiny “beach” is inaccessible majority of the day as the waves come right up to the property. That said the host was wonderful, the property cozy and the sound of the waves truly relaxing. If you’re up for driving to close by beaches and exploring, it’s a good jumping off point.
