Had the most relaxing stay in very very beautiful place. The views, the peace. The charming little house was spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The pool was clean and very much enjoyed. Our hosts gave us warm welcome and basically left us to it but came by to see if we were alright and to bring us fresh eggs and the most delicious figs from their gardens! Enclosed off from the property they kept chickens, geese and a stray deer. We are animal lovers so we loved that! The location is perfect if you want to be away from the touristy areas and just experience the beautiful nature of Tuscany countryside.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had an amazing relaxing time. The hosts were excellent and friendly and also respected our privacy. The view from the house and pool was beautiful. The pool area is secluded and clean. The house was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The spare bedroom acted as a living room with big TV. The little village had a very good well stocked co-op and lovely resturants. We will be returning!

Super accommodation!

Had a wonderful stay at La Casina Delle Fate! The place was in a beautiful location, peaceful and idyllic. The home was extremely well equipped, comfortable and private. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The location is perfect for day trips to local cities and the small towns are also a pleasure to visit. The pool is kept spotlessly clean and we enjoyed lazing here in the day and the evenings on the terrace. Highly recommend!

Peace and quiet in the Tuscan countryside

Gianna and Mauro were excellent hosts, they treated us like one of the family. The house is ideally situated overlooking a peaceful valley above Cavriglia with stunning views and, more importantly, peace and quiet. The house was perfect for our requirements and the pool, in beautiful gardens, was also great. The location allows for visiting the busier Tuscan areas, Arezzo and Florence are not too far away, Chianti is next door and there are lots of amazing castles, vineyards and olive groves to visit. We hired a car from Pisa airport and toured the area. As early as our second day of our stay we commented how much we'd love to revisit and just chill in the great surroundings. We will certainly be recommending La Casina Delle Fate to family and friends.

A lovely little house in a beautiful area

Beautifully situated in a wooded hillside with nice views. The owners are very nice but do not speak English as the website suggested. Communication was sketchy but we got by. The pool area and garden is immaculately maintained and so peaceful. The dining area is equally nice. Only negative comment is that there are no cushions for any outside furniture. The second bedroom doubles up as a living room for when the weather changes! Cavriglia is a short walk away for shops and restaurants with plenty of parking too. Not too far to Siena, Arezzo, Florence (we went by train), Volterra, San Gimignano and Pisa. Le Balze is well worth a visit for a relatively easy walk with stunning and unusual scenery.

Perfect and quiet during Eroica 2023

We came for Eroica 2023 and had a wonderful stay at Gianna and Mauros house. The house is small but is really well-equipped, there is literally everything you could need. And if something is missing Gianna will gladly help you out. It's situated above the little village Cavriglia, nicely tucked on a mountain-side. The pool, although fairly cold in October, was excellent to cool off after our bike rides. Gianna and Mauro are really the best hosts and and we can highly recommend staying with them. And since it has been mentioned before. Yes, the bathroom is small, but how much time do you spend in a bathroom? It's absolutely fine and very functional. I felt a bit bad that Gianna had to somewhat justify why it's so small. There's a toilet, a sink and a hot shower, what else do you need?! :) ---- Grazie ancora, abbiamo passato un tempo bellissimo da voi e speriamo di tornare negli anni prossimi :). --- PS: Whoever wants to stay here for Eroica, it's about 11km from Gaiole (about 400m of altitude) and will roughly take you about 45 minutes. It is absolutely possible to ride there by bike and not worry about parking in Gaiole :)

Ein wunderschönes Grundstück mitten in der Toscana. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir hatten einen ruhigen und entspannten Urlaub. Die Ruhe war einfach herrlich. Der Pool lud zum baden und entspannen ein und die Gegend ist einfach traumhaft. Die Anfahrt zum Grundstück ist tatsächlich etwas abenteuerlich und man muss mutig sein. Aber auch das wurde mit jedem Mal besser. Alles in allem hatten wir einen traumhaften Urlaub und werden bestimmt wieder hier her kommen.

Sehr schönes und ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus in der Toskana. Haus und Pool waren sehr sauber und im Haus war alles reichlich vorhanden, was man zu einem entspannten Urlaub braucht, ob Holzkohle für den Grill, Taps für die Waschmaschine, Spülmittel, Lappen, Küchenpapier, Moskitokerzen usw. Selbst Mineralwasser war für den ersten Tag vorhanden und von den liebenswürdigen Vermieten gab es zudem noch eine Flasche Rotwein aus der Umgebung. Frische Tomaten, Eier und Zitronen aus dem eigenen Garten gab es für uns auch. Insgesamt ein sehr entspannter Urlaub. In der Nähe befindet sich Cavriglia mit einigen Restaurants und einem gut sortiertem Coop. Der Ort ist gut mit dem ebike zu erreichen, dann Ferienhaus und Ort trennen 80 Höhenmeter.

Klein maar netjes huisje, alles is aanwezig. Zwembad is top en helemaal alleen voor jou. Veel privacy. Het pad naar het huisje is wat minder, heel steil.

Einfach nur schön

Das Haus war genau wie beschrieben. Das Bad etwas sehr klein. Aber dafür hat man eine wunderbare Außendusche.Der Pool und die Lage sowie die wirklich herzlichen Gastgeber können wir nur empfehlen. Die Zufahrt ist auf dem letzten Stück etwas Abenteuerlich .( sehr steil ).Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Padroni di casa molto cordiali, molto accomodanti e accoglienti. La casa è dotata di tutto il necessario per una vacanza all'insegna del barbecue e della cucina. La casa è situata in una splendida posizione e dispone di un'area esterna molto curata con una bella piscina pulita. I padroni di casa hanno progettato il giardino in modo molto bello e amorevole. Un séjour idyllique en Toscane !

Nous venons de passer des vacances inoubliables en Toscane dans un cadre absolument magnifique ! Ce lieu est un véritable havre de paix, entouré par une très belle nature qui invite à la détente. Le logement était tout simplement parfait : propre, bien agencé, et offrant tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. La petite piscine a été un vrai plus, très agréable pour se rafraîchir après une journée de découverte dans les environs. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, ce sont nos hôtes, Gianna et Mauro. D'une gentillesse et d'une attention rares, ils ont su nous accueillir chaleureusement et veiller à ce que notre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. Leur bienveillance et leur disponibilité ont largement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus mémorable. Nous recommandons ce lieu sans hésitation pour quiconque cherche à se ressourcer dans un cadre enchanteur en Toscane. Merci à Gianna et Mauro ainsi qu’à Mirko ami de Gianna et Mauro !

J'ai passé une semaine seule dans cette petite maison en mai 2024. J'ai pu profiter de la piscine, du chant des oiseaux et du calme de ce site. Les propriétaires se sont montrés discrets et la maison est pleine de petites attentions du quotidien que nous ne prenons pas forcément dans nos bagages. J'ai découvert la Toscane et c'est magnifique. Merci pour ce séjour !

Wundervolle Tage in einer traumhaften Umgebung

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Ehefrau in Empfang genommen. Sie hat uns alles im Haus erklärt. Im Haus selbst ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Dann haben wir erst einmal eine Abkühlung in dem wundervollen Pool genommen. Das Landhaus liegt am Ende einer kleinen, von der Anfahrt her etwas abenteuerlichen Straße. Es braucht ein wenig Mut, mir dem Auto den Berg runter zu fahren, ist langsam aber problemlos möglich. Dafür wird man mit einer tollen Aussicht belohnt. Unseren Wagen konnten wir überdacht unterstellen, so dass er vor der prallen Sonne geschützt war. Alle Fenster sind mit feinmaschigem Insektenschutz ausgestattet, dennoch empfiehlt es sich für draussen Mückenschutz mitzunehmen. In ca. 2,5 km ist ein kleiner Ort, in dem man Essen gehen kann und indem man seine notwendigen Einkäufe gut erledigen kann. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Fantastisch

Het huisje is klein maar perfect voor 2 a 3 personen. Huisje is gezellig, superschoon, goed voorzien van spullen. Geen airco maar wel horren voor alle ramen waardoor het 's nachts prima was. Het zwembad en het uitzicht is werkelijk fantastisch. Prima locatie om naar Florence en Siena te gaan. Gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk maar spreekt echt geen enkel woord Engels. Maar met Google translate prima te doen. Badkamer is erg klein maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Echt een dikke aanrader!

Sehr diskrete, aber dennoch liebe und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Wundervoll ruhige Lage mit einem traumhaften Garten und wunderschönem Pool zur alleinigen Nutzung. Nächstes Jahr wir sofort wieder gebucht!

Eine ausgesprochen wunderschöne Gegend

Das Häuschen ist klein aber gemütlich. Das einzige Manko ist das Badezimmer. Wir, als zwei große Menschen, hatten echt Schwierigkeiten beim Duschen. Die Außenanlagen sind topp mit einer Superaussicht.

Kleines Paradies in schönster Umgebung

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung und ein sehr schöner Garten inklusive privatem Pool. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die Sprachbarriere war kein Problem. Es stand alles zur Verfügung, was man brauchte, man erreicht alle bekannten toskanischen Sehenswürdigkeiten in relativ kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto (1 Stunde Siena/Orcia-Tal; 1 Stunde Florenz). Auch in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es Weingüter, Restaurants etc. Ideal für Paare, aber auch mit Kindern wahrscheinlich eine tolle Location. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gianna und Mauro waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, mille grazie!

Fantastik ophold

Dette lille dukkehus er perfekt. meget Rent, stille område og alt hvad du behøver findes i huset. Dejlig swimmingpool og en meget fin terrasse som ligger helt ugeneret. Dejlig velkomst og god mulighed for at få hjælp hvis vi havde behov.
