Everything as expected. Good location on 8th floor with a lift up to 7th floor the 1 flight of stairs. Well equipped apartment with great views and a beautiful terrace. Many supermarkets nearby including a Lidl very close . We walked to many places to enjoy the scenery. The city park next door was beautiful. We ventured further on the metro system which was very efficient. We purchased a T-usual card from the machine by selecting a Tmobilat card and the T-usual option which gives unlimited journeys over 30 days including to and from the airport on the L9 line , it cost 23 euros each and you need to put your passport number in the machine as it is a personal card

Francesco was warm and helpful, providing thorough information and instructions to help make our stay easy. The penthouse location is perfect - close to everything and easy transportation. The terrace is lovely and the view of Segrada Familia with mountains in the background is gorgeous. This property greatly enhanced our visit to Barcelona and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful Barcelona

Loved this flat and its proximity to so many. We walked to La Sagrada Família! The park is, of course, beautiful and so close. Loved the bakery/coffee shop around the corner. Good groceries and restaurants nearby. Of course the view is to die for. Thanks, Franz. You were wonderfully accommodating.

FANTASTIC!!!

This apartment was absolutely perfect for couples. We stayed 5 nights and the amazing penthouse balcony was the highlight of our visit. We enjoyed our coffee/wine there every morning/evening. The location is fantastic… the neighborhood is safe/quiet and you’re within walking distance (15 minutes or less) of so many historic sites, restaurants, shopping and the beach. Francesco was a fabulous host, very informative and so helpful… gave us so many tips on places to eat (some local ones with a 10% discount for mentioning our stay with him) as well as some preventative safety suggestions when exploring the city. We would highly recommend this penthouse apartment and definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit to Barcelona!

Cute little apartment, well equipped in the perfect location. Walkable to everywhere. Only downside is the small bedroom and bed. We were there in early May. Weather was perfect and the deck is very nice. Never used the air conditioning, unit had a great cross breeze. Owner was excellent. Arranged the transfer from the airport and very reachable and knowledgeable.

Beautiful penthouse perfect for travelers

We stayed for 5 nights and it was an excellent location/place. The balcony is a nice feature and we would’ve used it every day had the weather been nicer! Francesco communicated great with us upon our arrival and was very helpful during check in.

Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick über Barcelona und mit Sonnenuntergang

Sehr angenehme und sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit großer, schöner Dachterrasse, von der man Blick auf die Sagrada Familia hat. Check-in war sehr unkompliziert und die Ansprechbarkeit von Francesco war jederzeit gegeben. Die Lage fanden wir top - gerade, weil es nicht mitten im touristischen Trubel ist, sondern minimal abseits davon. Trotzdem ist man schnell zu Fuß in den Altstadtvierteln und auch am Strand. Und ganz schnell im schönen Park nebenan. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Spectacular Spectacular

We spent 13 nights at Francesco's apartment as the start of our 6 week retirement trip and now are fearful nothing else will compare. Francesco was a wonderful host and we only have great things to say. The apartment was meticulous..well organized..and lovely. The terrace was amazing, as were the views, comfort of the bed, location, Francesco thank you. We will dream of returning and now know that there can never be enough time in Barcelona

A Delightful Place to Stay

This penthouse is bright, comfortable and perfect for one or a couple! The location is excellent for exploring Barcelona and experiencing all this fabulous city has to offer. You are within walking distance (15 minutes or less) to so many sites and the beach. Going further afield is easy with public transportation being close by and very efficient. Francesco is a fabulous host, very informative and helpful. The terrace is absolutely amazing with views that can’t be beat. Being a solo traveler, the neighborhood is safe and quiet. I would highly recommend this penthouse and would definitely stay again, given the chance!

Kurzbesuch in Barcelona

2 Tage Barcelona waren natürlich zu kurz um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen und zu genießen. Wir hatten aber dennoch eine schöne Zeit in Barcelona. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Francesco vor dem Penthouse erwartet. Francesco hatte viele nützliche Informationen für uns parat und war - falls wir Hilfe benötigten - immer für uns per WhatsApp erreichbar. Das Penthouse liegt ideal um viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bereits zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in dieses Appartment, dann aber ohne Auto. Das Autofahren in Barcelona ist selbst für Großstadt-erfahrene Autofahrer eine Herausforderung.

Very nice apartment in the heart of Barcelona

The rooftop flat has an amazing view to the Sagrada Familia and to the sea. The location of the building is super, near to the parc, to the old city center, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Frederico is a very good host, who gives you many information and ideas. THe flat itself is not big, but enough for 4 people, and it was tidy and well equipped. We really enjoyed to be guests here.

Central Barcelona Penthouse with amazing view

We stayed in Francescos appartment for 6 nights and were very happy there. Francesco welcomed us with many information on everything concerning the appartment and suggestions of all sorts on what to do in the city--a truly thorough and sympathetic host. The view from the appartment ist spectacular--towards both sides and we always had breakfast there overlooking the city. It is also amazingly central so we went almost everywhere by foot. It was a really good time and we really recommend staying there. Thank you,Franceso!

Wonderful stay

The location of the apartment was ideal—not in, but near, lots of things to see and do. Francesco is truly a 5 star/premier host! He responded promptly to any and all questions or concerns, and went above and beyond to help us have a wonderful experience in Barcelona, including providing shopping and dining recommendations, negotiated discounts at nearby restaurants, and assisting in any way we needed. We highly recommend this apartment and Francesco as a host!

Beautiful apartment in perfect location

Francesco is a wonderful host who arranged pickup at the airport for us and had his representative ready early to greet us and show us around. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well-equipped and the balvony fabulous. We slept wonderfully and were able to enjoy Barcelona easily.

Quiet, comfortable, with lovely balcony

Charming apartment. Started and finished each day on the balcony overlooking the city. Slept extremely well on the comfy bed, very quiet. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Incredible communication and support from Francesco, the host. Would definitely stay here again.

Now I'm back again to Barcelona, for the 2nd time since many years. I travelled as a backpacker in all the 5 continents and I'm multilingual (Italian, Catalan, English, French, Spanish and some German). I'm a biker and I can suggest to other bikers coming to my flat nice routes around Barcelona.
I'm used to provide all my guests all the information they may need in order to enjoy Barcelona as much as possible with tips about the city/public transports, maps, events, bars/club/restaurants that I like and other relevant information about possible destinations around Barcelona.
