We truly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The apartment itself was cozy, comfortable and it is in a great location. The area was quiet but provided easy access to all of Florence’s attractions. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample storage. The kitchen is small but well stocked. Francesca met us for check in and she was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent base for a week's stay

I chose this accommodation because it was near the centre but just over the bridge away from other tourists. We went the end of March and had a lovely time in Firenze. The accommodation was fantastic, very comfortable bed. Massive wardrobe/storage area. Small but useful kitchen. The heating was a bonus and soon warmed the flat through. Comfy, clean and homely. Francesca was very welcoming. The bottle of wine she left was appreciated. I would recommend getting a phone number. I had problems with online services so couldn't contact her after arrival. I would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic location and great host

I stayed with my sister. The apartment was in a brilliant location and exactly as described. We did have a few issues with mosquitoes the first night but once we put plug in mosquito repellants in we had a great stay. Our host was really helpful. Thank you so much Francesca.Thank you

Beautiful stay in Firenze

The location of Francesca's appartment was perfect for us. Very near of multiple accomodations, restaurants, gardens, Arno river and historic sites. We had all what we needed and Francesca was quick to respond.

Lovely stay in Florence!

Francesca was a wonderful host - she met us at the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know. The apartment was very cute - perfect size for the two of us. The neighborhood was great, lots to do, but a bit away from the serious crowds across the river. Would absolutely stay here again!

Exactement comme on voulait!!

Appartement très sympa et très propre... Petit nid romantique idéalement situé : au calme tout en étant a 10min a pied du centre historique et le soir a proximité de petits bars à vin sympas!la propriétaire est adorable.. On reviendra .. Un super séjour ! Merci Francesca😉

Cozy and Quiet Apartment

We enjoyed our stay in this charming and cozy apartment. Francesca couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. It's an easy walk to all the sights and has numerous excellent neighborhood restaurants nearby. The apartment is well kept and clean. The washing machine was easy to work, and there was a convenient drying rack. There lots of lights and they were bright enough to easily read by. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and if you want to cook a meal, Francesca has stocked the kitchen with items such as sugar, salt, olive oil, etc. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

Nur 10 Gehminuten von der Ponte Vecchio entfernt, befindet sich das Appartement von Francesca in einem ruhigen Stadtteil von Florenz. Komplett ausgestattet und möbliert fehlt es einem in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung an nichts. Die Küche beinhaltet alle Gerätschaften für den leidenschaftlichen Hobby-Koch, was bei den gängigen Restaurantpreisen in Florenz definitiv ein großer Pluspunkt ist. Internet und Fernseher lassen das Herz eines jeden Buisnessman höher schlagen, um auch im Urlaub auf dem Laufenden zu bleiben. Bei unserer Ankunft erwartete uns bereits eine Flasche toskanischer Chianti und zwei äußerst freundliche Vermieter. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte rasch und unkompliziert, bei der Abreise sind diese ledliglich im Esszimmer zurückzulassen. Ein kleiner Wehmutstropfen für ausgesprochen lärmempfindliche Personen sind die schlecht isolierten Fenster durch die, die nebenan tagsüber lautstark diskutiereneden Italiener schwer zu überhören sind. Also eher nichts für Liebhaber einer ruhigen Siesta. Einzig das Bett im Schlafzimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig, da der Lattenrost auf einer Seite kaputt ist und man gezwungener Maßen recht viel Zeit in der Bettspalte verbringt, darum nur 4 statt 5 Sternen. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft "Bellini delle Stelle" für einen erholsamen Florenzurlaub jedoch sehr zu empfehlen.

Delightful flat in a great location

I've just returned from a trip to Italy with my sister. We had a wonderful time in the flat - very cosy with everything you need - and more! The location was also ideal, only 5 minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio but in a quieter part of the city just off the main tourist trail. The flat is also only a few minutes walk from the bus stop that takes you to the train station. Francesca was the perfect landlady, very quick and efficient with our booking request before our arrival and very welcoming, helpful and reliable during our stay. I hope I have the chance to return to Florence and would be very happy to stay in the flat again.

Charming, lovely place to stay

A very nice, quiet and good location in the Oltrarno. Close by nice restaurants, a supermarket, close to a bridge that brings you right into the very busy center. We rented bicycles during our stay and could park them safely behind the gate in the inner court. A feeling of coming home every time we stepped back into the apartment. As far as restaurants in the direct area: especially La Beppa (for diner, a little up the hill on Via dell'erva Canina, reservations necessary) and Zap (for lunch, we arrived around 12.30 hrs) were to our liking. The owner was very nice, wellcoming us. As we had no complaints at all, so no need for us to get in touch, she checked with us after a few days if everything was all right. Real hospitality indeed and we absolutely do recommend it.

Lovely apartment in beautiful city.

Stayed for a week in mid July - weather very, very hot! The apartment provided a welcome retreat from the heat and the crowds. Excellent location, very quiet and only 10 minutes from Ponte Vecchio and 20 minutes from Uffizi Gallery and Palazza Vecchio. Great to stay in Oltrano; bit more relaxed and 'local' than the city centre. The apartment itself is homely and well-equipped (supermarket and good bars just down the road). Lorenzo and his family were very welcoming. Had a fantastic week!

Die netteste Vermieterin

Ruhig in einem (nur mit Schlüssel zu öffnenden) Seitengässchen in einem ohnehin "verschlafenen", untouristischen Teil der Stadt gelgen. Dennoch sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuss erreichbar. Wohnung klein aber fein, mit sehr viel Geschmack eingerichtet (die Besitzer sind Architekten). Es hat alles, was man zum Leben braucht, und was nicht da ist, holt man sich in nur wenigen Fussminuten in einem Supermercato, und lässt dann Salz, Kaffe, Teigwaren usw. für die Nachmieter!. Francesca ist die netteste und unkomplzierteste Vermieterin, die man sich nur vorstellen kann: Bei unserer Ankunft (Vorweihnachtszeit) war ein Pandoro und eine Flasche Asti auf dem Tisch, die Übergabe erfolgte rasch, so im Stil "Wenn ihr geht, so lasst bitte die Schlüssel auf dem Tisch und zieht die Türe hinter euch ins Schloss...". Das wars dann, keine pingelige Endkontrolle, ob auch alles "besenrein" sei. Offenbar kommt dann schon noch jemand, denn die Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft sehr sauber. Für Notfälle hat uns Francesca ihre Handynummer dagelassen. Übrigens: wenn man nach der Haustüre 4x links geht, so kommt man in weniger als drei Minuten zu einer sehr gemütlichen Osteria, wo man sehr gut und preiswert isst und guten toskanischen Wein glasweise trinken kann. Absolut emphelenswert!!

Very charming and excellent value

We had a terrific stay in Florence at this very charming apartment. Past reviewers and the owner describe it very well. Everything was well appointed--plenty of blankets, pillows, etc., and the kitchen provided all we needed. The sofa bed was so comfortable--I don't think I've ever slept that well away from home. The apartment provides easy access to the Michelangelo plaza, and we walked through the ancient gate and up the hill to the plaza each night--a lovely ritual that will give us a lifetime of memories. As others have mentioned, the apartment is on a quiet street, which is very nice for privacy and relaxation. The only hitch was that we had a little difficulty finding it on arrival (we were walking from the train station, not taking a cab). Some others have mentioned concerns about the tub/shower, but I think this must have been resolved by replacing the tub with a simple shower stall. We had no problems with that. This is a terrific, comfortable place with plenty of character and charm. Welcoming and friendly owners. Well worth it.
