Huge expansive disappointment

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family's highly anticipated vacation turned into a nightmare. Upon arrival, our room reeked of mold and was in unacceptable disrepair. The overwhelming mildew odor made sleeping difficult.Worse, on the third day, I tragically fell and broke my leg simply stepping off our balcony onto the overgrown lawn below. The tall grass obscured the distance to the ground. Not a single staff member checked on our wellbeing or offered any assistance despite my broken leg and four young children to care for.What was meant to be a milestone family celebration was utterly ruined. when getting back we even sent a letter which got no reference. we are very disappointed and will sure not going to recommend on this place.

We had a great stay. Comfortable appartment with great amenities. Beds were a good sleep. Kitchen fully equiped. Before our arrival the resort had suffered from a power failure resetting the access code. The host Yasmine was quickly there to resolve the situation. Re the state of repair, the sliding doors were broken and couldn’t be locked. Bread toaster although looking brand new kept ejecting the bread prematurely. Checkout is at 10am which is quite early.

Really nice condo in a great complex. The beach is beautiful, great for swimming and really short walk through the property to get there. The pool area is fantastic and the on-site restaurant had tons of options for the whole family. You need to have a rental car or taxi to get to Quinta Avenida. Front seat scheduled covid tests for us on the last day directly from our room. Great stay!

Home away from home

This place was amazing. The property was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Pro: Great furniture and linens. Everything was well stocked and the kitchen was fully stocked. Easy access to the main pool and beach. Cons: Hard to think of anything. This unit is on a corner so it gets more traffic than others.

Great apartment and location

We loved our stay, the apartment is very well taken care of. We very much enjoyed the private pool and the hammock outside our apartment. The community pool is very big so you’ll always find space to swim/play and lounge chairs, same thing on the beach. The personnel from the apartments is very attentive and will set umbrellas for you on the beach. The restaurant is really good and they even have a little convenience store inside the complex in case you need it. We had a problem with the refrigerator but Monica was very good at taking care of it, she answered the phone immediately and send someone right away. We would definitely be back :)

Lovely grounds to walk down through, past the vast swimming pools and onto the lovely beach. Private pool is not a full pool as you can't swim in as very shallow.

December 2018 Stay

Great experience at Marezul Pure - it was beautiful and comfortable. The cooler was a nice touch and the washer/dryer were much appreciated. Unfortunately the unit hot tub nor the community hot tub were hot, which was disappointing for a December visit. I recommend that cleaning spray and a scraper for the glass stove be left in the unit for guests to clean up after using. Batteries should be installed in the safe and a tray for the oven would also be useful. If I returned to the Cancun area, I would certainly stay at Mareazul again.
