Great stay near Zion Park

We stayed here so we could visit Zion National Park. Perfect for a family or 2 couples. Was able to make breakfast before heading earliy to do some hiking. Was able to wash clothes before leaving. 30 min ish drive to Zion Park.

Great place, perfect location, fantastic host

This home was very comfortable and well stocked. Perfect location for exploring the area. The host, Phil, was very responsive and accommodating.

Great family accommodations for Zion day trips

My family of 5 stayed here for Christmas. There was plenty of space and a well appointed kitchen for preparing our own meals. Zion was an easy 30 minute drive. My kids loved the pirate ship loft bed and bathtub.

Great house for a Zion

My Dad and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Zion and the surrounding area. Great house was perfect for us. Brand new HVAC system kept us very comfortable.

The house had everything. The beds were comfy.Our only negative was that we couldn't control the temp in the house. A few mornings were chilly. Also the one shower was hard to turn off and it dripped a bit. The location to Zion was perfect. toturnoff

Zion Family Trip

Great Host! Awesome location that allows opportunity to a low-key environment and/or a short drive for main stream action. Accommodation was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day of hiking and enjoyed all the cooking amenities. Would definitely recommend!!!! Tip: Please use the hose in the back yard to wash your feet so you don’t track sand in the house.

Great distance from Springdale to stay out of the busyness of the entrance to Zion. Very comfortable living for 4 nights. Well stocked supplies and equipment needed to stay at home and cook. Close to other amenities that may be needed. Responsive manager.

Very nice, All the Comforts of home!

The place was very well equipped, clean, and plenty of space, giving you all the comforts of home. It was decorated well so it felt very homey. The kitchen was well organized and extremely well stocked. Bed was comfortable! We enjoyed having the grill available to use and the carport to keep the car out of the sun. The living room furniture was comfortable to sit on. I really liked that the host has his TV set up so you are automatically signed out, on your day of checkout, of any streaming service you used under your own name. This prevents your account information from being left on someone else’s TV. The house is bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. There was plenty of space for two people, and it could easily house a family with four small kids. Location was great for getting to Zion National Park. It was about 20 miles away and took no more than 25-30 min to get there. FYI- get there by 8:00AM to find parking at the park. Our host, Phil, was easy to reach and quick to respond. We would definitely book again when in the area!

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay and would do it again. The proximity to Zion NP was excellent! The one negative was our inability to program the heat/AC thermostat to sleep comfortably at night.

Great spot close to Zion

We had a great time staying at this property. The one thing we didn’t realize is that one of the listed beds is a pirate themed bunk that wouldn’t be for everybody but it definitely added a fun touch to our stay. Very close to Zion and very clean. We had a great stay!

Everything you need!

The property is very conveniently located to everything! Zion, a short drive. Restaurants are very close. Grocery right down the street. The property was perfect! Everything we needed for a fun family vacation! Thank you for sharing this home!

Quite house close to La Verkin "central"

Older rambler style house, nicely remodeled. Clean and well equipped, close to the center of La Verkin (which is a small town, so gauge your expectations accordingly).

Great base camp

LaVerkin Loft is a very comfortable base camp. We were very close to Zion and within 2 hours to Bryce and North Grand Canyon. The house is very comfortable with plenty of amenities to make our stay a good one. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, dishes, spices and other common cooking items for us to use. Phil did a good job of communication. The neighborhood was quiet but we were close to groceries and gas and good restaurants. Will stay again when in the area

Perfect for Relaxing and Adventuring

We enjoyed our stay here. Our son has been going through chemo for leukemia and we needed an escape. It was perfect distance to Zion National Park and we were able to enjoy the park two of the days we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed except some of the pans were burnt in the bottom so we just avoided using those and the knives weren’t very sharp so next time I would probably just bring my own. Also, the kitchen wasn’t clean when we arrived so I had to spend the first hour cleaning and sanitizing everything because I was nervous about it being clean. So I am a little disappointed that the cleaning fee was on the higher side especially since I had to clean when I first got there. I was disappointed that all I got was an apology from the owner. I was hoping he would give me back some of the cleaning fee since I had to spend an hour plus cleaning when I got there. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. I would probably stay there again but just be extra sure it is going to be clean before we come. There are some updates that could be done to enhance the property and I communicated those to the owner.
