Fantastic home away from home to stay in while vacationing!! Very clean, updated, well kept and comfortable. Beach access directly from the back porch and a great place to relax, play games and enjoy family and friends together while enjoying the beach breeze. We loved every minute and will be back!!

It was perfect location perfect amount of room for us and close to things we wanted to do. The only thing is on the washer and dryer on the dryer didn’t dry very well. We were trying to get all the towels done before we left. I would definitely stay there again

Great get away weekend

If your looking for a place that is right on beach and for a weekend getaway this place is great! Family of 8 and we had a awsome time spending out at beach infront of rental very close to walk back n forth to and beautiful nights with a full moon is a must walked at night up n down the beach with grandkids searching for crabbies! Are memories for lifetime and enjoying the deck underneath to grill some fajitas also awsome Juanita who was our contact person was also very awsome in assisting us with our needs very very affordable place as well if ur on a budget for a weekend stay it'sa great spot on the beach and kinda a hidden gem the houses around it are like big mansions but probably cost a big penny so if ur looking for on beach place that can also have pets , close to beach this place is it we will definitely rent again .

Our family of 7 was very comfortable in the house! Great ocean views, comfortable beds and very clean. Good a/c unit and cute little back patio. Couldn’t be more happier with our stay

Description was accurate, we didn’t have to walk much to get to the beach. The house was clean & beautiful. Beautiful view. Some friendly neighbors. Some not. The only complaint we have is the AC, the rooms weren’t getting cold but there was some fans to help a little. Overall the stay was great !

At home on the beach

This beach house was perfect. It’s a perfect set up one of the only beach houses with beach access. Couldn’t have been a more convenient location, the deck looking over the beach out onto the gulf was amazing. Can’t wait to go back. The guest house Juanita was amazing and was available for any questions. She helped make the stay that much better. Loved it.

Right on a quiet private beach. House was big enough for the 6 of us. Could use some work on the floors … spongy and not level. Overall stocked well, but only 2 wash clothes?

Amazing views

Took my wife and daughter down for the week up to the 4th of July. We wanted a place with amazing views, and couldn’t have been more pleased. The home was super clean, smelled great, and the ocean view was jaw dropping. The home has a very peaceful vibe to it, the showers work great, the fridge and appliances and bed and washer dryer etc. all work great. The downstairs area beneath the home is a great spot as well toCool off and chill at the picnic tables. We will definitely be back!

Kids at a Blast!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful beach house located at 23114 Gulf Dr in Galveston! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the perfect beach access just steps from the property. The house itself is well maintained, beautifully decorated, and spacious—ideal for a relaxing getaway with family or friends.The large windows provide panoramic views of the Gulf, and we spent hours enjoying the fresh sea breeze on the deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to cook meals and enjoy them with a view. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy, and each one has plenty of space and storage.The location is also perfect—quiet enough to feel like a peaceful retreat but still close to great local attractions, restaurants, and shops in Galveston.Overall, this beach house is a perfect spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable beach vacation. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting Galveston!

Great location but disappointed

The location of this place is epic. Easy access to the beach, and the back deck was a favorite spot — perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunrise. Under the house, there’s an outdoor shower (exposed but great for rinsing feet), two hammocks, two swing chairs, and a grill that got the job done. That said, the cons almost outweighed the pros for us.The floors are extremely uneven, with noticeable dips and slopes throughout the house. We noticed sawdust from what appeared to be termite damage that got progressively worse during our 6-day stay. When the washer ran its spin cycle, it shook the entire house. Also, it was advertised to have hoa pool access but we were told it was not available during our stay. Some positives — the beds and linens were comfortable and the appliances all worked fine. But the WiFi was confusing: there were 3 networks named almost the same thing and we didn’t figure out which one actually worked until the second-to-last day.The biggest issue was the air conditioning. Even in the listing photos, it looked old, and that proved true. It worked okay most of the time, but the master bedroom had zero airflow and was always 5-8 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. You could hear the ocean like the windows were open (they weren’t).On our last day, the A/C stopped working altogether — the temp rose to 81° despite being set to 70°. Evolve did send an A/C repairman out late at night (kudos for that), but he said the system needed to be replaced and there wasn’t much he could do. He also mentioned this is why there’s usually a window unit in the master — which definitely would have helped! Unfortunately, the house was so hot that last night, we ended up having to get a hotel. The owners were “out of the country” and couldn’t be reached for further help.A few other things to note: • We spotted a snake under the deck — just a heads up if you’re staying with kids or pets! • No real closets, just a couple of hooks — tough for hanging clothes. • No washcloths and the kitchen pans were really worn. • Stains on nearly all the chairs and couches — the place could really use some TLC. • Another review mentioned it feeling a little like camping, and honestly that’s accurate.Overall, I’m glad I didn’t pay a premium rate for this — it would’ve been a big letdown for our one vacation of 2025. The location is wonderful, but the home itself needs serious renovations and attention to be worth recommending.

A bit like camping

Really wanted to like this place. I got in late in the evening, woke up the next day to a flat tire. Someone super sloppily scraped a couple years of paint off the house and just left it littered on the ground all around (and stuck to the patio furniture) giving it a little bit of a construction site vibe. Not far fetched to assume that’s where I picked up the giant roofing staple in my tire that I got to drive into town and replace the first day of vacation. The floor is almost wavy it’s so uneven with soft spots and broken tiles all over the kitchen. With all the rain it felt like we could fall through at any moment. Upon arrival the hallway lights didn’t work and there was brown sand (different from the beach) in the halls almost like what you see from active termites? The master bath toilet was at like a 45 deg angle and my dad couldn’t use it bc he couldn’t twist at that angle to…you know. Both tubs were clean but SUPER dated with chipped finish and rust—this is a showers only house. The dishwasher didn’t work the last day so I got to hand wash everything before we left. The washing machine was covered in mold, you could see and smell when you opened the door so we just hand washed our clothes in the sink. Again, a bit like camping. But not great when you realize the sheets you sleep on and towels you wipe your face with took a nice mold bath. House was again, clean looking, just in disrepair and very sparse. I think this is the first rental house I’ve stayed in that literally had only salt, pepper, coffee filters. It’s a small kitchen so I get it, just don’t expect to be cooking lots of meals. And to top it off these were the hardest beds/pillows I’ve slept on in my life. We ended up going to the dollar store for new pillows so at least that was softer but I still have a kink in my neck 3 days later. Honestly am writing this bc we relied on the other reviews thinking this would be great and it was just in really rough shape and we wish we had gone with another option for the holidays. It does have great beach front views and access, so there’s that.

Family Christmas Getaway

The property was awesome...right on the beach! Everything was as advertized. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Had everything we needed, and the property owner contacted us to be sure we had what we needed. We would love to stay here again in the future.

NOT UP TO OUR EXPECTATION

Overall the size of the home was fine for the 4 of us. The problems we had was we felt the owner of the home didnt take pride in their property. The first thing we noticed was all the celing fans had DIRT caked on them...the kitchen sink was dirty and the master batroom had a Broken shower handle and toilet seat. The windows/doors facing the Ocean had little sticky finger prints all over them and the Smoke Detector in the livingroom went off at 2 am due to low battery. The master bed sheets had stains on them(gross) but the mattress was good. The deck chairs were OLD AND BROKEN... not usable.

Weekend vacation

Granted this is right after a tropical storm so I can forgive outside amenities not being 100%. The rooms and beds were nice and comfortable. Living space accommodated all of our needs. My two main complaints were that ants had gotten into the cupboard and there was a lot of sand in the house when we arrived so wasn't sure how that fell into the "tidy up when you leave rule." Other than those two. Great spot right next to the beach. Not a lot of foot traffic so you can always garrenty a spot right on the water. Will us this service again.

Great location but falsely advertised

We all had a great time at the beach house, and the view was amazing. All the furniture, beds, and kitchen were new. We loved the direct sand path down to the beach and enjoyed the great sea breeze on the deck under the house. However, this house is not 5 miles from Schlitterbahn as advertised, it is more like 25 miles. There are no bunk beds as pictured. Master has a king, 2nd bedroom has a queen, and 3rd bedroom has a full with a twin trundle underneath. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, and there was a charcoal grill outside. It would also be nice if they could provide a broom, so you could clean up the house and not leave such a mess for the cleaning crew. Overall it was a good stay.

Great location and views

Pros- The beach is steps away from the back patio, the location of the house is near small grocery stores and the liquor store. The house was big enough for 10 of us. We liked that there was plenty of seating at the bottom patio. We found plenty of towels and blankets. The beds were comfortable. The house has two grills but one of them needs to be thrown away. The outdoor shower has hot and cold water but it’s open so there isn’t much privacy. Cons- There was no toilet paper or paper towels, we were told that the owners didn’t want to provide those items but that would have been nice to know before we got there. The next day someone did drop 6 small rolls of toilet paper. There wasn’t any dishwashing soap, bath soap, or washing detergent. The listing showed a bunk bed and was replaced with a trundle bed which is was fine but changed some of our sleeping arrangements. The trundle bed wasn’t clean, when we pulled it out it had a lot of sand on it. The bottom deck and some of the stairs have some loose boards so our kids tripped a couple of times. Overall we would stay at this property again knowing of what we need to prepare for and hopefully some of the boards get fix ASAP

Perfect Getaway

The location and atmosphere is prime! It could not have been better. From the ease of access to the beach, to the views of the water, to the rooms....it was great! Only difference from the listing was there wasn’t bunk beds in the other room, but it wasn’t needed. Absolutely needed! Thank you!
