Paradise found

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the area, and loved being able to relax at both of the pools at the end of the day. The condo was clean and spacious with all of the cooking amenities we needed. It truly was an incredible place to stay for the holidays.

Convenient location

My husband and I liked the location near restaurants and grocery. We explored the area from here. Nearby beautiful beaches are practically empty! We also enjoyed the pool, which was often only us.

Perfect experience

The condo and the location are amazing. Way better than we expected! The views are wonderful and the facilities are very well taken care of. Very peaceful and with access to a market, restaurants and the beach within walking distance. Communication with the owner was very smooth as well.

Very nice condo for the family

Very nice and well equipped condo for the family of six, large swimming pool, very close to grocery store, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed our stay in June 2018.

Beautiful clean home!

It had everything we needed. And it's conveniently located right across the swimming pool, which was also great!! Overall we had a very relaxing and wonderful time. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

Great Experience!

We recently stayed with 3 adults, and 3 school aged kids for 1 week at the Del Pacifico, and were very pleased with our experience. Sam was easy to deal with, and sent us a lengthy welcome package with tips about the area, restaurants, activities, shopping, etc. The condo was as advertised, it is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well stocked, and there was ample bedding, bath towels & beach/pool towels. Sometimes we had the pool all to ourselves, or sometimes one other person/group would be there. It was never a problem as it a large pool deck and spacious pool - which is crazy warm!! The staff on the grounds are very friendly and helpful, and the site felt very safe & secure. There isn't a lot in the immediate vicinity of the complex - the shopping plaza at the bottom of the hill has an ice cream shop, a couple restaurants and a small grocery store and the beach is a 5 min drive away. We drove in both directions to Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Rainmaker, Jaco and Hermosa - loads of different beaches and attractions. The kids enjoyed the beach, but it is very strong water so no great for kids to swim in and there are rip tides so you have to watch them closely. Loads of surfers and it is huge, and does not get busy. Loads of shells to collect :) A few little things - unlike other VRBO stays, there is NOTHING in the kitchen food wise, so you need to pick up coffee filters, salt/pepper/oil/etc. They did provide dish soap and laundry detergent which is very handy. There was also no sheets for the oven ... but I suspect I was the first person to use the oven :) There is a BBQ, the outdoor patio isn't the prettiest, but it is clean and functional, if lacking in ambiance.

Dear Nancy, Thank you for your great review! So pleased you have a lovely time. You are absolutely right that Esterillos Este / Playa Bejuco is a quiet location and the beach is endless - we love it for that - and with Jaco close by, nightlife is available (but not too close to disturb a relaxing vacation)!. Thank you also for the tips - I was unaware that salt / pepper / oil etc was not available - I think perhaps my team inadvertently cleaned everything out of the kitchen after the last guests (who stayed for a month). I will make sure that such items are there for future guests. Sorry for any inconvenience! Thanks also for pointing out to future guests the potential for rip tides. That is true for the whole of the pacific coast of Costa Rica. As you know I devote a paragraph in my guide to the subject. Its perfectly safe as long as you are aware. Really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback (our first review on VRBO!). Most of our guests for Casa Sophia have rented through air b n b and there are 31 reviews from past guests on that site (search Esterillos Este 6 guests to find it, - headline "Beautiful 3 Bed Villa Playa Bejuco).
