Mike has been a local fixture for over a decade in Transylvania County. Mike and his wife, Melanie, have two beautiful daughters, Molly and Gracie, and dogs Lulu and Dory. Together they enjoy hiking, the beach, and traveling. Mike, Mel, Molly and Grace love to travel to Southern Costa Rica and will soon have two more short term rental options in Costa Rica.

Mike is a full-time licensed real estate professional in North and South Carolina, a licensed general contractor, and one of the top-selling real estate agents in the area. He is an eco-certified broker and, more importantly, the only Transylvania County, NC real estate broker who has built his own solar-powered home! Mike designed and built his off-the-grid home in Lake Toxaway using mainly refurbished materials with an eye for conservation and sustainability. Nestled on the mountainside, the sleek, airy home runs completely off solar panels, well water, a high-efficiency wood stove, and propane. Mike has also saved more distressed Brevard homes than any other person, including the beautiful Linger long Cottages in downtown.
