Nice Cottage in Portsmouth, RI
Th location is convenient and accessible to Bristol, Portsmouth, Tiverton, and about 20 minutes from Newport. There is off-street parking for two cars. It is a friendly neighborhood and great for walking around the area, close access to a bicycle trail. We reserved to visit our son who attends school nearby and it was practical and served the purpose. The house is in good condition, has central air/ heat, and the photos are accurate. The kitchen is adequately equipped. Some opportunities to improve would be to update the towels and the checking in logistics. There was also an issue with the kitchen sink that was clogged on one side. When we used the dishwasher the water backed up also into the sink. We reported this as soon as we arrived and received a text stating “we will try to stop by to fix it this week”, but no one ever came and it was not fixed during our week-long stay. That made it very inconvenient to use the kitchen, clean, etc.
