1 Bedroom, LOCATION! Base of Resort, Everything is Close!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The resort base area, lift access skiing, mountain biking, and hiking are right out the front door. Entering the condo you’ll find a spacious living room with large Smart TV with access to all of your favorite apps for relaxing after a big day of adventure. An adorable, compact, and fully stocked kitchen is all ready for you to prepare your meals in-house. The full bathroom is accessed off the kitchen and hallway that leads to the master bedroom. Great sleeping options for a family or the weekend warriors. Comfortable king bed in the master bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa + twin murphy bed available in the living room. We’ve recently added new flooring and window coverings throughout to enhance our guests’ experience. Please note that the fireplace is out of service indefinitely. We hope to have it operational in the future. Convenient washer/dryer in unit. There is free basic wireless internet provided. Not always the best for streaming, but great for browsing the web and checking email. Strict parking for 1 on-site. There are other pay parking options available, or free parking in the town of Crested Butte. The entrance is located on the third floor from the parking area, but on the second floor from the slopes.

The Axtell complex location does not get any better being situated right at the base of the Silver Queen lift on Mount Crested Butte. Enjoy additional property amenities like complimentary wifi and an outdoor communal hot tub to watch the base area activity. Strict parking for 1 on-site. There are other pay parking options available, or free parking in the town of Crested Butte.

The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. Axtel is within close walking distance of the main transit center. The summer schedule runs every 20 minutes; the winter schedule runs every 15 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes.
Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management provides the basic comforts of home. Upon your arrival, you’ll find that we supply all linens, towels, and paper goods. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. If you would like to arrange housekeeping services during your stay, please contact our office to schedule for a modest fee.

Cozy one bedroom in great location. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. Loved having a kitchen in the unit. There really isnt room for storage in the unit and I would only put 4 people in there if 2 of them were small children. Hot tub was never unlocked when we wanted to use it so that was a bummer but our u it was clean and well stocked.

Awesome location!

Location is awesome! Condo is next to a couple of chair lifts. Ski in. Ski out location. I would stay here again. Just keep in mind it is on the third floor and there is no elevator.

Great location steps away from the bast of CBMR

My family had a great time spending a long weekend in CB. We enjoyed staying at this condo and its amazing proximity to the base of the resort. Our family of 4 fit snugly but comfortably into this space and we enjoyed the large oversized balcony. Hot tub was great too

Condo was great. I overall really enjoyed the condo. All amenities were in good shape and very clean. My only suggestions would be a reserved parking spot for the unit. Finding a spot was very unpredictable.

Superb location

Very clean, fantastic location at base of mountain and ( next door to building where lessons meet; great for families.) Could hear upstairs neighbors and snow cats both nights. Maybe suggest ear plugs or white noise maker but really appreciated the ease of being slope side!

Winter Ski Trip

This was a good find. The price was really good for the great location. Everything was great with the rental. The only downfall was that it was 4 flights of stairs to get to it and no elevator available. Hauling all the gear and luggage was a bit of a challenge. That got old. I would stay here again.

Comfortable, modern, and clean.

This was a good property for the two of us. Everything we needed was provided. It was clean and up to date, with a good bed. The lower chair lifts are located directly behind the building, which would be very convenient during ski season. The kitchen is small and has the basics.. The bathroom is also very small, but is modern with a nice shower and tub.

Very nice

Unit was very clean and updated with new, full size appliances, very well stocked and accurately described. Washer and dryer, TVs and appliances were all in excellent working order and wifi was good in main living area. My only complaint was a lack of covers/duvets for sleepers; we requested, and quickly received, just one extra blanket. Both blankets were well used.

The condo is clean, comfortable and has everything you need to keep a small family happy, entertained and getting out to the snow! We left a little early due to some nasty colds we brought with us, but even through that we left the condo with good feelings and can’t wait to go back! Epic spot for a small family!!

The closest accommodations to the Silver Queen you can possibly get. Like 50'. Age and condition of the property was so-so. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked and about everything disclosed was accurate. It is older a little worn but if you are there to get after the skiing, which we were, it will do just fine. If you have a lot of girls, beware the only bathroom is a little bigger than a 737's but not much. iF location and outdoor activities are your priority, this place is just fine.

Incredible location. Great condo.

Love staying in this building. It is the best location on the mountain. The room is comfy and beds are great. Having a washer and dryer in the room is super helpful. Other condos have them available for quarters but there are no quarters to be found. Only thing I do love here is that the property management is off-site so we were at the condo ready to check in and had to load up the car and drive to get a key. I’m accustomed to there being a lockbox and easy entry. Felt like checking into an old hotel. I will stay here again hopefully. :)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights during the fall season. Great location and great big balcony. Overall a great stay with a few minor inconveniences. Firstly, the check in instructions are rather confusing because you pick the keys up at one location (we checked in after hours so it's likely easier during normal hours) and you get back in your car and drive to the correct building. There was no address to the other building, just the building name (Axtell), which doesn't come up when you search it on Google. It would be helpful if they just provide the address to the building and not just the name. We walked around the building we picked the keys up at for about 15 minutes looking for our room until we realized we weren't in the right place...again, a little confusing.2nd, there is no elevator so just be aware if you have a lot of stuff, you'll have to carry it up about 4 flights of stairs so keep that in mind.3rd, the key was VERY finicky and took a long time to figure out how to properly unlock it...we figured out the trick the next day but for a while there it was very very very annoying trying to unlock. Also please note the bathroom is VERY small.Overall great location and nicely priced aside from the above suggestions we had a great time and love Crested Butte but I think we'll stay elsewhere next time we visit.
