your own private dock with a stunning view of the Lake Simcoe. Enjoying of The Beach, The Pool, The Hot tub, The Sauna, Wi-Fi and The Games room. This cottage is located 4 min drive to Mara provincial park and 10 min drive to Casino Rama and near to center of Orillia.
There is one camera facing to driveway in the cottage.
Waterfront boathouse is temporarily closed.

We had the best girls weekend away! There was plenty of room for all of us. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Hot tub and sauna were just the thing we needed for relaxing.

We stayed here in late September so we didn't use the pool but we did enjoy the hot tub. The property is welcoming and the ability to sleep many visitors in the 5 bedrooms was great. I was a little disappointed that the lake was so low and swampy in the bay that sitting near the water was a bit smelly and restrictive. There is no option to swim here and couldn't kayak with the water being so shallow. The effort to update the property is appreciated but falls short with poor workmanship especially around the deck, deck stairs and pool area fence. The setting out back is beautiful and the lawn is great for family games and letting kids play. The kitchen is nicely renovated but the seating area is quite tight. Bathrooms have been upgraded but could have used a little more attention to detail when remodelling.For us six women for a weekend girls getaway it worked well and is close to town and the casino.

We had a great time at this property. Lots of things to do. Kids had a great time playing in the basement with all the games. Rooms were clean, spacious, tv in each room, beds were very comfortable. Boats on the lake were great activity. Fire ban in place otherwise we would have loved a fire. Hot tub and pool were both clean and nice. The deck was a bit worn, kids couldn’t really walk on it without getting splinters. Overall nice place to stay

We had a great girls weekend away! There are 5 beds which we were happy to find! Kitchen was well stocked with labels. Really lovely yard! We all really enjoyed our stay

The property is old and there was paint chipping and peeling . The downstairs was very damp and not much circulation. It was fine originally but by the second night my nephew got a nose bleed and had to move upstairs. The pool area and deck had some loose nails and boards which was worrisome with young children. We had a good stay but if we stayed longer, it wouldn't have been the most comfortable. The WiFi is extremely slow and almost not worth using There were issues w laundry when we arrived and we were not able to use laundry while we were there due to a pump. It also caused the floors to be very damp and wet. I had to spend some time cleaning this when we first arrived to the property. Was not the way I wanted to start the vacay. The host was not as prompt as I would have hoped. The grill took very long and didn't allow us to cook the food the way we wanted. Overall it was okay. We choose this property primarily for the pool and it was really nice as the kids enjoyed it on the hot summer days. Otherwise we would have picked something else. The property also had a lot of land and allowed for us to roam and play outside which was also an added plus. Access to the kayak on property was an added bonus. The play room was fun for the kids but as it being in the basement, the moisture was very damp.

We had a fabulous stay at this cottage. It has 5 bedrooms, 2 of which have King size beds and the rest Queen size beds. All beds are super comfy and cozy.Every room had a T.v., fan, and A.c unit. The cottage is fully stocked with all the necessities you need and more. For example it had plenty of towels, cutlery, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, kitchen supplies including: coffee machine, and microwave etc. There's 2 sets of washers and dryers (laundry detergent provided) which was super helpful for doing laundry after long days of swimming.The pool and the hot tub were super fun, we wish the pool was heated because the water was a little chilly, but we made it work. You definitely need to bring your own drinking water and water for the coffee machine/cooking as the water is not safe for consumption. My only point of criticism is that the washrooms had a foul smell, I believe due to the septic tank and the basement had a musty odour. We would highly recommend this cottage and hope to be back in the near future.

Cottage rental

The cottage is a good size with lots of beds and bedrooms. The basement is fun and full of games, and the pool is nice. The whole place is very clean. The deck around the pool and the outdoor stairs could use some work, as they are a little rough. The cottage could use some updates and a coat of paint, it’s well used. The lake is also completely unusable, it’s just mud and weeds unfortunately. Overall, still a good experience.

Great experience

Great place for a gateaway with kids - lots of outdoor space, access to the lake with kayaks available, nice pool, a very picturesque dock with lots of wildlife. We had a very easy and transparent communication with the owner and would love to come back next year.

Great Getaway !

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The pool, hot tub and sauna were great, the large property was lovely and we enjoyed all the amenities including the entertainment space in the basement and the fire pit. The beds were very comfortable and the host was very responsive and friendly ! The property was easily accessible and close to town.

Best Cottage Experience & Best Host

Best Host ever, literally i can’t keep thanking the host for being so accomodating and checking in always with fast responses. Very happy with their welcome to the cottage and overall for the experience can’t thank them enough. The cottage is beautiful, and a very nice view with so much to do! We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and firepit, much more!! This cottage comes equipped with everything. It was so cozy inside aswell & every room practically comes with a tv & cozy sheets with blankets. Cottage drive is close to Toronto, only an hour and half away. Everything was just so perfect. Worked out really well for our group and we very happy with our stay and we can’t wait to come back again!! Big Thank you to our host and keep doing what your doing :) We are coming again :)

Great place for a quiet get-away. The boat house has been converted into an open air sitting aera with a gas fire pit, we spent a lot of time there.

Very peaceful but with lots of things to do!

The children loved the pool, hot tub, fishing from the dock, trips in the paddle boat and kayak but best of all soccer on the huge lawn. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was a very good quality. The rooms were quite spacious and accommodated all 7 of us easily. The downstairs games area was a plus when the mosquitoes drove us inside. Only negative was that we had to bring water for drinking and cooking, it created a lot of garbage but I understand that the owner is planning to put in a filtration system in the near future. Also, we did not realize that you cannot swim in the lake but there is a sandy beach a very short drive away. Overall we had a wonderful, peaceful holiday and will most likely book again for next summer! Thank you Behrooz for your excellent communication!

Beautiful property

Very beautiful property. A new waterfront building has been constructed with a propane fire pit to enjoy at the lake side. Most of the 5 bedrooms were equipped with large TV's and all bedding was included. Enjoyed our stay very much. Just one suggestion for the pool, I think the stairs and handles should be replaced so that seniors could get out without a problem. Otherwise very nice pool

Very nice.

We spent a weekend here with some family and friends. The house was perfect, it had everything we needed and more. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kids loved the pool and kayaks. It was so quiet and relaxing and a beautiful view out on the dock. This was definitely worth the travel from Newfoundland.

Great getaway

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had some minor issues that were addressed promptly. The house was well equipped and instructions were clear. My family really enjoyed the game room and all the outdoor activities. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Would consider returning next year.

We bought this cottage in 2022, The reason was its unique location and neighborhood, near Orillia,10 min to Casino Rama , 5 min to Mara Provincial Park in which there is a one of the best Lake Simcoe sandy beach and a beautiful playground for kids, and finally this property has access to Lake Simcoe directly through a cozy and quiet backyard.
