The place is beautiful and worked great for our family! Spacious and comfy. The only issues were the alarm going off any time the sliding door was open for a bit. Also, need some oven mitts :)

Spacious units and nice layouts. Very clean and well equipped kitchens. Everyone thought the beds were super comfortable! Enjoyed the outdoor amenities. Would definitely stay again!!

Everything was so easy and we enjoyed the property. Perfect location!

From check in to check out, communication was quick and easy. It made our vacation that much better. No hassle, perfect location. The lockout feature was the best. We could enjoy our family time and then have privacy at night. I look forward to renting again next year.

Everything was great. Only suggestion is the room floors was so dirty our infants feet and knees turned black before we realized how bad it was in the room. Everything else was just as shared and we loved our stay!

Great for big families!

Love how this property was right on the beach, had two pools, multiple hose stations on the walk ramp to the pools to wash away the sand and bar/restaurant that we were able to order food when the kids got hungry. The connecting two bed/two batch with sofa beds in each unit accommodated our big family. Having two kitchens and refrigerators help us stock up plenty of food for all the hungry kiddos. We had a great stay. When we arrived, we couldn't find the chairs and umbrella. They promptly brought us two new sets.

Pools could have been a little warmer and were not the cleanest. Location was good! Not many places to walk to but we loved to overlook the ocean:). Customer service was all really good through the Gibson rental, they got us and early rental and were really good about answering questions prior to our arrival.

Beware of restricted beach access

Condo, great! But beware unless you are willing to spend $50/day to rent a spot on the beach you are forced to move down the beach to a very small space that fills up quickly. We were threatened with a $500 fine the first day for setting up with a tent in the wrong spot, then consistently being told to move to another spot since the only empty spaces we could find were on private property. You are pretty much forced to rent a spot from them to be able to sit on the beach.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We're sorry to hear of the challenges that you experienced on the beach, but are happy to hear that you enjoyed the accommodations. Unfortunately, Gibson Beach Rentals does not manage or maintain the beachfront vendors, but we can confirm that tents are not permitted to be erected in front of the rows of beach chairs so as not to obstruct the view. We also provide two lightweight chairs and an umbrella in each unit for you to use as an alternative to renting chairs from the vendor. Just What We Needed

We had 14 women in our family stay in units 204 and 205, and we all fit very comfortably. While we had originally wanted a house on the beach, this setup actually worked much better for us. Our units were close to the elevator, and located on the second floor. This property is right on the beach, which was great for toting little ones to and from the condo. It also had a great view, even just from the second floor. The on-site pool, bar, and grill were great for days that we didn't feel like getting out, and there was at least one other restaurant in walking distance for us. Once we did venture out of the resort, our location was perfect for shopping and dining options. We did have a couple of minor issues come up, but the staff was quick to take care of us and remedy these. I would definitely recommend these units to another large group.

Reviewer Comments: Using the two units as a 10 person sleeper proved a huge mistake for us. Two kitchens made things confusing as to where pantry items were located. Also, no large gathering area so we had to divide up to eat meals. Also, slow response from staff to respond to leaking toilet constantly running in unit 206. Also. Ac did not work for 2 days.

We're sorry the lockout units didn't work out for you as you had hoped. We have had lots of happy families so far, being able to be so close with a door opening between the units for better connectivity. The photos accurately represent the layout, walls, and doors of the property so no guest should ever feel misled. The running toilet issue was reported to Tides Maintenance as soon as it was reported to us, and they informed us it was repaired the same day. The a/c unit had in fact died just prior to your arrival and the entire unit was replaced on Saturday, June 10 (your arrival day), which was a miracle in and of itself. It is unheard of to see an entire a/c unit replaced that fast. We also had the a/c technician return the following day to verify it was working properly. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced on your well-deserved vacation. The GBR team did our best to handle an unfortunate situation as best as humanly possible so you could enjoy your stay.

June 2017 Stay

When we checked in maintenance was replacing ac unit. It did not work all thru the first weekend of our stay. Poor response and issue resolution. Also, requested twice that maintenance repair toilet that continuously ran in the hall bath in 205. No return call or show from maintenance. We would like to be credited for no ac for 2 nights.

Great Family Beach Vacation!

You don’t even have to ask, they just text you when the unit is ready! Tides is right on the beach and close to everything that we like to eat!

Fabulous!

My son says it’s the most fabulous beach and stay EVER! When the disposer stopped working someone was there to fix within one hour.

July 2022 Stay

Our family met here for a beach vacation and these condos were perfect for us. Our location on the second floor provided a beautiful view, easy beach access by using the stairs instead of the elevator. The whole resort was very clean and the live music in the evening in the pool area was the perfect way to end the day. Last night, Friday night, we enjoyed the fireworks show on the beach. A pleasant surprise for our family. The beach access and pools allow for the kids to go between the two easily. The bar staff, Laura, Joe and Abigail, took excellent care of all of us. They kept us hydrated. It was great that we could send the kids over with tip money to refill their drinks. We’ve done a lot of traveling and this place was truly one of the best places we’ve stayed. The restaurant at the bar is delicious. We enjoyed a couple meals there during our stay. I highly recommend the Dominoes pizza at Miramar too!
