Pamela, we are so glad your family enjoyed the house and that the location worked out perfectly for your stay. It means a lot to hear that communication was easy and everything felt just right from start to finish. Thank you for staying with us. It really means so much to us to have happy guests!

Thank you for sharing your experience at the Jefferson house. it really is a great home base for biking the Leelanau Trail and exploring wine country. We're so glad the spacious layout and game room worked well for your family and helped make it a fun, memorable stay. Regarding the washer dryer combo, it is new state of the art all in one. It may not be what guests use in their own home. A standard dryer is provided as well. Thanks so much for staying with us.

We enjoyed having you as our guest and are delighted you enjoyed your time at the Jefferson house. Thanks so much for staying with us.

We are so glad to hear that. Thank you so much for being our guest and do hope you get to visit the northland again sometime.

From the Owner: "We are happy you enjoyed the Jefferson house. It is so pleasant to sit outside in all the nature that surrounds the house. We are sorry about the doorknobs. We will check them out and repair accordingly. Thank you for being our guest."

From the Owner: "Thank you for staying with us, Eileen—we really appreciate your feedback. Like every home, ours is a work in progress, and we’re always looking for ways to improve. The TV room is primarily set up as a space to relax, watch TV, and play games. Sleeping in that area is intended mostly as overflow, with kids in mind."

From the owner: "It is so awesome to know that your family and friends had a fantastic stay, Jun, and we appreciate that you chose to stay in our home. We hope you will visit us again in the future!"

From the owner: "We definitely will look at the comfort level of the beds and see how we can improve that. Some outdoor maintenance has been done on the house since your stay. It’s difficult to get time at such a busy house! Thank you so much for being our guest, and glad you enjoyed your time there."

We're so glad the layout worked well for your family and that the location made it easy to walk to both town and the beach with your grandchildren. We do supply beach towels but not beach chairs, so renting those was a good call for your trip. That said we will be adding a beach wagon and will consider beach chairs in the future. As for lidded containers for leftovers, that's great feedback; we're always looking to improve and will work on adding more since items like that can sometimes go missing over the course of a busy summer. On pricing, our rates reflect current trends in the area, and site fees can vary depending on where you book. We're happy to hear you'd rent with us again, and thank you so much for being our guest.

From the owner: "We are so pleased to know you had a great stay at our home. Yes, that ceiling fan will be replaced. Over the years, it has become porous and discolored. We have been waiting for things to slow down so we can do some updates. Thanks for the suggestions though, and we will be adding a few more items to make our guests stay even more comfortable."

We were so happy to have you as our guest. Thank you for sharing your experience at the Jefferson house and appreciate that you found the house and setting lovely. Indeed, when you are not using stairs all the time you can get a work out at the house. As has been mentioned before, the bonus is the privacy each bedroom has on each separate floor. Regarding blankets, they are kept separately in each bedroom closet. We just recently removed them off the beds for summer but always welcome guests to use what is supplied in the house.

We're so glad the house was clean and exactly what you expected, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. Pricing can shift with dates and demand throughout the season, and we understand that can be frustrating when plans change. Those fees attached by the listing site can add up too. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and hope future guests find the same well-kept space you did.

From the owner: "Thanks so much for staying with us, Scott. I am glad you enjoyed your time here."
