The Space:

High on a cliff in Princeville, a prime neighborhood in the heart of Kauai’s North Shore, Hale On'tariō is perfectly situated for an active, outdoor vacation or a laid-back retreat. This home is located on the sixth hole of the Makai Golf Course and enjoys stunning, panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Bali Hai Mountains. Hale On'tario has been recently refreshed with new carpet, while the air conditioning system has been updated (August 2019) to include splits in all the bedrooms and an extra one in the living room.



Hale On'tario is a relaxed choice for couples, families, or friends who want to unwind in an ocean view home and enjoy Kauai’s many charms and adventures. You can gather in the great room with floor to ceiling windows and enjoy a 60-inch flatscreen 4K TV with cable, Apple TV, and a wide assortment of movies, games, and books. The house supports portable music by cable or with Bluetooth speakers.



There are two master bedrooms on the main floor and a loft bedroom – each with a private bathroom and air conditioning. The loft has another flatscreen TV, two full-size beds, and a trundle bed with two single mattresses. There is a separate office in the loft with a Windows 7 PC, free WiFi, and a laser printer that can scan and copy documents. Window coverings and powerful ceiling fans help keep things cool and private.



There is a well-equipped galley kitchen designed for easy meal preparation. The dining table seats eight and a large Weber propane gas grill is available. You can dine al-fresco on the screened-in porch that features a colorful garden view, and catch the sunset or enjoy the beautiful indigo moods of the ocean over morning coffee on the lanai.



Located where albatross birds nest from November to July, and within walking distance of the surf breaks at Hideaways Beach, the lively nightlife at the Hanalei Bay Resort, the brand new shuttle (2019) to the Napali Coast, and Princeville’s popular multi-use trail, Hale On'tariō is an exceptionally convenient vacation home. Anini Beach, Hanalei, and the Kilauea Lighthouse are minutes away by car. World-class snorkeling and hiking are within easy reach.

Awesome physical location. that alone makes it worth staying here. property is a little shabby. The photographs of the listing oversell it. But it's fine of.you want the location which is unbeatable. The kitchen faucet was broken and only sprayed water. one of the AC units in a bedroom didn't work. not enough large coffee mugs. the ariel shot of the house shows no properties next to the house. that is not accurate. there are properties on both sides.

House has great potential, but needs some TLC

We loved the area in princeville, but the air conditioning didn’t work in two rooms. The loft was so hot even with all the windows open. The house felt like a greenhouse in June. There were little things that needed fixed and definitely a/c needs fixed in the loft and the second room in order to have a comfortable stay.

Loved the view and location right off the Golf Course. Comfortable beds, all the appliances in the kitchen. There lots of dishes so you don't have to run the dishwasher every hour. Highly recommended!

Perfect place for our family of 7!

Honestly everything was great. The location, the AC, the communication, ease of Che k in and check out. The house is beautiful and right next to queens bath and a 10 min drive to town. We have 5 kids and they all loved it. They fed the geese and chickens every morning that wander around the golf course:) really though I can’t recommend this place enough. It was perfect. We want to go back lol

Great House

The house was everything that the picture showed, the kitchen was well stocked with most everything except for coffee. The beds were really nice the A/C in the house worked very well. We would love to stay here again love the area in Princeville.

beautiful location overlooking the 7th hole of Macai golf course. House was spacious and nicely decorated. Equipped with many convenient home appliances, washer/dryer, beach towels. Very comfortable for all of us.

Great house and great location!

Our family spent a week here and we all loved it! The house is well maintained, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The furniture is updated and comfortable, and the entertainment system is great. We spent a week here with four adults and two children and had plenty of space for all. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our family of 6! It had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that was needed to cook our meals there. The house also had everything we needed for a great day at the beach (beach chairs, mats, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels). Great location with a lot of walking/running paths. Would highly recommend this place for others.

Great vacation

Great location. Food land is right around the corner and Hanalei Bay is a quick drive. Queen’s Bath is a short walk. House was perfect. The views from the family room and patio are as good as it gets. Everything advertised was there. Furniture was very comfortable. Neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Best time

Loved the folder of places to go and eat. So helpful And probably took a ton of work! We all loved this house so much. Close to Anini beach - perfect for kids and we got to see a sea turtle go from the beach to swimming back into the ocean! We’d stay here again in a heart beat. We were sad to leave.

There is nothing to hate about this house. Absolutely beautiful and clean house. Lots of space for 8 guests. I love it because everything was there for my family and i didn't have to buy any additional supplies except food.
