***Due to the ongoing issues with Mexico's water treatment pumps, the ocean is not guaranteed to be open at this time.. They do test the bacteria levels daily, but the majority of the year the Ocean has been closed from the Border, past Imperial Beach up to Coronado Beach. If swimming in the ocean is a major amenity I would not stay in these areas, until further notice.***

Beach Club

The beach club is a three story private, gated complex. The Beach Club is a U-shaped building that is located on the sand, no busy street or boardwalk separating you from the beach. It has its own heated pool, Jacuzzi hot tub, and barbecue facilities in the spacious garden atrium.

Your unit #111

Unit #111 is on the first floor and offers you a beautiful southwest view overlooking the grass park and the ocean. You'll relax to the soothing sound of the ocean waves. You'll have your own private, sunny direct oceanfront balcony.

Relax in a quaint beach town, stroll on the quiet beach. Walk on the old fishing pier, and bring your rod and bait! Excellent surfing! Watch or participate! A 10 minute drive affords you easy access to the famous Island of Coronado and its golf course. 25 minutes takes you to the world famous San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, San Diego Embarcadero, San Diego Convention Center, fabulous desert or mountain drives, Mexico, and all that the sophisticated city of San Diego has to offer!

Location is great

The location is why you stay here! A few things in disrepair in the home and have to bring your own stuff, but overall we had a great time.

Beautiful Location

We had a wedding to go to and booked this amazing gem. Everything was so great! The location was amazing! I was looking for something beachfront, with a pool and a hot tub, and this place had it all! We would definitely come back!

San Diego Trip

The condo was perfect for my husband and me and our daughter and her two children. Spacious rooms and plenty of beds. The kids enjoyed the pool and the condo is literally on the beach and we saw some beautiful sunsets.

Imperial Beach stay

The place was great. The size was very comfortable for us having family and friends. The view was breathtaking. So many places to go within walking distance. We felt safe and secure. We did some cooking and had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay again. Only suggestion is more coffee cups. Thank you.

Beautiful Stay

Our family loved it. 4 Kids. The sight of the ocean! Lots of windows to see ocean, door to the sand. 3 rooms for my kids and my husband and I. Love the 2 bathrooms. I like the safety with needing a key and password to get into area. It feel like a nice safe area but I liked the extra step. We plan to stay again. My family enjoyed our stay.

This place was better than I thought it was going to be

The pictures have different furniture and countertops, which is no big deal. They were even better than what was expected. The views are amazing. The little town is sweet and fun great breweries and places to eat. Wish I had more time to spend there. I was there for a conference I would stay here again in a heartbeat, there was the issue that you couldn’t get in the water not sure if it smells in the summer, but this place was amazing. The couch was comfortable and the company was very easy to deal with. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Overall nice place. Large family would have to purchase more kitchen utensils plates new can opener potato peeler knives . Extra toilet paper besides 1 for each bathroom. Even with that I will stay again.

Enjoyable Weekend

We stayed at Imperial Beach Club 111 for a week while visiting San Diego in early June. The view and sound of the ocean are unmatched! Being just steps from the beach, we enjoyed collecting shells, watching the birds, and strolling the pier. The condo had amble room and amenities with a kitchen stocked with everything we needed for our cooking needs throughout the week. Although we didn't have time to enjoy the pool, the public space and pool area was clean and maintained. The process for check in and check out was easy and straight forward.

Good, Bad, and Ugly

Good - Steps from the sand, nice location in proximity to beach. Good little restaurants within walking distance. Bad - Furniture is a bit "used". Couch is old and beat up. Uncomfortable. Ugly - The water near the condo is contaminated with sewage coming from Mexico, so they were advising not to make human contact. Going to the beach but not being able to get in the water was a bit of a bummer.

Beach Vacay

The view was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio looking at the water everyday and walking the beach from our easy access door every morning. We were pleasantly surprised to walk in and see that the condo was updated and not like the pictures, although at first we thought we were in the wrong condo. It took us a few minutes to find it and the door was wide open when we arrived. It was clean, very spacious, and worked well for our group of 7. The only negative thing is that the mattresses were so uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the bedroom with the 2 double beds. I’m not sure about the other rooms. I hope that they consider updating them soon. Then the house would be perfect! Management was great with responding to e-mail’s immediately. We had an issue with the shower door and it was fixed right away. We would definitely stay here again!

Do not stay here!

Horrible rental. The beach was closed due to sewage in the water!!! I contacted the manager and she replied that the closure was made clear on the listing. Which is now the case but was NOT the case when I reserved the rental several months ago. Turns out the beach has been closed for over 6 months! Plus the place is very rundown broken shelves in the fridge, broken fan in the bathroom, broken toaster, broken microwave, etc. etc. One mattresses was okay the others are ancient. Also, zero privacy. To get out all the other residents walk immediately adjacent to the living room and master bedroom windows. So yes you can view the stinky beach but then lots of strangers will be looking in on you. Lastly, this is one of the worst equipped rentals ever. Not even salt was available, or foil, or shampoo or coffees. They even left a note that only two rolls of toilet paper would be provided then we’d have to purchase more if needed. No lie. Zero hospitality. The really unfortunate thing is all the positive reviews this place has. The only way to explain it is that “San Diego Vacation Rentals” writes their own reviews. .

Another Trip to Paradise

This is our second time to stay at the Beach Club. We were in a different unit this year, and we picked the unit based on proximity to the beach access. Unfortunately the gate was not in service and the access was boarded up, which was definitely disappointing. But given todays supply issues, my guess is, the complex is just waiting for it to arrive. The unit was clean, and you cannot beat the view! We really enjoy this complex, having assigned parking, TV's in all the rooms, and the complex is nicely maintained. We were lacking a few pots and pans, and I was going to run out an buy a skillet, but we had received an email asking how everything was and I mentioned the lack of skillets and in less than an hour someone arrived with some additional cookware for us. I did not expect that, but it was much appreciated. If we are coming to California, this is the spot we will continue to come to. Next year we will look forward to having easy access to the beach!

Great beach house getaway

Great location! My kids loved it! We came to the zoo, but my kids enjoy the beach house way more. The views in the morning are beautiful. All day access to front of the beach. There is volleyball sections too. Bring your volleyball. Many food locations walking distance. This location has limited parking (2) spaces. But many places to park on the street. A park is right next to it so the kids can enjoy too. I will love to book this location on our next family trip.

Nice property in good location

It's an ocean front property and a little away from the main activity area of Imperial Beach Pier, so it is not as busy and noisy. Property is a little old, but we still had comfortable and nice stay.

Right on the Beach

This was a perfect place to stay for our family's Thanksgiving. The property was clean and the beds were comfy. The property is older and had a bit of wear and tear but we would definitely come back again.

Ladies weekend getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we walked into the condo and saw the views from the kithen/ living room and the master bedroom, we could not believe how great this place was. It was wonderful to walk along the beach and out to the pier. The great waves this weekend brought out many surfers and we spotted dolphins and sea otters from the condo and the pier. It was great having such a variety of options nearby for dining out and buying groceries. We had fun at a nearby arts and crafts fair and decorated pumpkins at a nice co-op stand and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful We would definitely stay here again!

Great on beach location

You can beat the value on this one. A beach front property with plenty of space. The only downside was the furniture. It is not the same as pictured. The couch is warping pretty bad. The dinning chairs are on their last leg and the master bed is not stable.

Overall great stay

Hi it was a great stay just a couple of things the one of the chairs in the kitchen was broken along with the back of the couch and one of the windows. Also it’s not the furniture that was in the pictures. We ran out of toilet paper and maintenance said they didn’t have anymore so we had to by our own overall great location

Right on the sand!

We had a great time! The rental was right on the sand and had most everything we needed. Could have used more beach towels (only four) and the locked gate (in and out) was kind of annoying, but overall it was a great vacation spot.

Great condo!

Overall a great experience. Condo is very nice and spacious. Easy access to the condo for check in/out, beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards available for use. A few things need to be fixed (blinds, missing cabinet knobs, broken toilet paper holder) but nothing that impacted us from having a great time. Would definitely stay again!
