Not enough space to say it all..
Untimely communication not received by us, which led to us rushing from the airport, which in turn led to me having my wallet, money and cards stolen even before we had reached the property.
We were not told about the late arrival charge in advance, we were not told about the tax that we were required to pay ( Nb overcharged first time, and this was challenged after I read the rules on the Venice authorities website.. and no way this is a 4 star property so why charge 4 euros per person per night when the range is 1 to 5 euros and only for the first 5 nights, and half price for children ( our receipt indicated 3 adults for 6 nights, when it was 2 adults and 1 child chargeable, and should have been 5 nights). This do not feel honest, and unless I had looked it up, we would have paid in good faith.
Cleanliness left a lot to be desired: bathroom floor was dirty, sheets had hair in them which indicated they had not been changed..
and the property advertises 3 bedrooms.. and we needed 3 bedrooms, but the owner had not made up all 3 rooms ( if indeed they changed the sheets at all).
On the other hand, they were understanding of my predicament on the first night, and checked up on me the second night. Which was appreciated.
There is no mention on the website listing of the need to provide passport details. On the third day, I had 4 messages and 3 phone calls about this. And there is more but no space left here. Msg me directly for more.
