The elevated position of the house & pool makes for great views across the country side. It has a stunning and large outdoor area, perfect for sunbathing, as well as a covered shaded terrace area.
There are 2 dining tables and a brick BBQ making the perfect combination for dining alfresco in the wonderful Portuguese style.
To one side of the pool, there is a spacious lawn which is great for children to play.

A flight of steps leads to the pool terrace, at the end of which is the front door that opens on to the open plan living area.

Living space & kitchen
The open plan living and dining area is bright and spacious, attractively decorated in Portuguese style. There are comfortable furnishings with a traditional flooring and feature fireplace. The 6-seater dining table/chairs sits in front of 2 sets of patio doors, which open out onto the covered pool terrace. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast table.

Holiday in Albufeira

The Villa was excellent and very clean, communication with the owner was also very good. The family loved the time in the pool and also spent hours on the table tennis and pool table. We will look to sray again.

Lovely property

Lovely property and area, great pool, table tennis and pool table! Only down side was the busy road that was at the front of the house, just a bit more noise from that than we wanted but tolerable. Pictures on the site need updating as there is no longer a bath, showers in both bathrooms only.

Fabulous Family Location!!

We have just arrived back from a truly fantastic stay in this property. The villa and its location had been highly recommended to us but the reality surpassed all of our expectations!!! The whole place was immaculate, private, quiet, true to the photos, excellently equipped, perfectly located and had a fabulous perspective for the morning and evening sun!!! We hired a car and felt this was important for exploring the beauty of the whole area. Excellent location for access to beaches, old town and local attractions. Despite the quieter area we found some fantastic restaurants in the immediate vicinity and they were excellent quality and perfect for all the family. 5 star holiday. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at your villa. We couldn't fault it, absolutely lovely villa in a great area. Any issues we had were dealt with immediately and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend this villa and would love to stay again soon.

Excellent!

The house is very well equipped with everything you could need and more. The outdoor seating area is great and the pool is clean and well looked after. Although the property is close to a quiet road, it still feels very private due to the elevated position. The pool table and table tennis kept our boys amused for hours. The location to Galé beach (our favourite) is less than 5 minutes in the car or a 30 minute walk. The local restaurant is very good and there is a local Portuguese supermarket just a 5 minute walk away as well as a Spar even nearer. All in all we’d thoroughly recommend and would return in a heart beat!

Fantastic Holiday

Casa Das Boboletas is a lovely family villa and we found it to be exactly as described in the listing. It is situated in a convenient and pleasant area with shops and restaurants in easy walking distance, and with the local beach also easily walkable. There is car parking off the street. Both the inside and outside of the property are lovely. It is surrounded by a grass lawn and to the front a large paved terrace. The pool is first class and there are multiple sun loungers and seats. This year, a new rattan seating area and table have been added, this making a lovely area for sitting in the evening. The pool table and other play equipment were popular with the teenagers. Inside, the kitchen and living room are plenty large enough and clean and pleasant. The bedrooms have efficient air conditioning which was much needed in August during our stay. The liaison and communication between the owners was excellent and the local manager, Linda, speaks excellent English and Portuguese. She was on hand to welcome us and deal with any queries. Further afield, the property is about 10 minutes’ drive from Albuferia should you be tempted to visit - personally, we went the other way and used Gale, the more local and much quieter area. It is a reasonably upmarket area with none of the horrors of downtown Albuferia in evidence. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to travel around - although Uber covers the area as well. In summary - really excellent.

Villa was tired and needs updating

There were some lovely features about this villa, however they are all starting to fade and need better upkeep. We were unable to open any doors or windows throughout our stay due to the amount of flies. There were ants in the kitchen, all over the units. The welcome book says they have a problem with ants and to deal with this by buying ant powder. We felt that by them telling us there was a problem, they should be fully dealing with it. Not requesting that guests should try and sort it out while they are supposed to be enjoying their holiday. The pool table and table tennis were very jaded and had been there a long time. The sofas in the living room were uncomfortable and there were only 5 English TV channels to access. The pool area was lovely and relaxing. The grounds were well kept. Unfortunately, due to all the other issues I could not recommend this villa to others unless the problems listed were rectified. It is such a shame, as this villa has so much potential.

Great property at a great price with friendly owners and excellent host

We had an absolutely fabulous holiday at this villa. Right from the beginning, the owners were extremely friendly and replied to queries extremely quickly. They answered many of our questions and were very flexible with the booking. We paid a fair price for pool heating for 2 weeks which was very reasonable. The villa is clean, tidy and practical. The kitchen is fully equipped. Enough toilet paper and washing facilities for a couple of days on arrival. Towel change and bedding change half way through the holiday at the end of week 1. The host in Portugal was excellent and made sure we were looked after. The wind broke the clothes drier and a replacement arrived the next day. There was a small leak from the washing machine which was fixed the same day and the pool heating stopped working and was fixed within 30 minutes of us reporting it. We had been the first guests to use the villa for several months due to the pandemic and so there were bound to be a few teething problems, but nothing more than what we would find anywhere else, and the service to put things right was excellent. The pool was set to 30 degrees and maintained a healthy 29 degrees throughout the holiday. The owners arranged for it to be turned on several days before we arrived. The garden area continues around the back of the villa, although we spent most of our time around the pool. The pool enjoys the sun for most of the day, but there is a large conifer that means that in June (when we were there) the pool was in the shade from about 4.30pm but that wasn't too much of a problem, although the owners may want to ask their neighbours to cut it shorter for the future enjoyment of the pool - bear in mind the villa hasn't been used for a long time and so the conifer may have grown since someone was last there and we didn't report it as a problem because we could manage. There is an excellent rechargeable fly swatter provided which is needed because Portugal does have mosquitos and they do find their way into the house - we managed this quite well by keeping all bedroom doors closed and when outside we would keep the door to the lounge/dining area closed so only the kitchen and bathroom were open. The pool is super clean and maintained very well. It's about 10 minutes drive to Albufeira which is really easy to get to. There's an Aldi within about 3 minutes and a supermarket that stocks quite a lot of English products within 2 minutes. Highly recommended and price is good.

Best villa we have stayed at in the Algarve.

We have been to the Algarve in September for the past 8 years. We have always gone to a villa, and always in this area. The location, inside space, outside space, and general facilities was great. This is by far the best we have rented. This is the first time we didn't hire a car. Turned out that that was a good decision. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets are within easy walking distance. And there are some cracking restaurants. We used Uber a couple of times and they were brilliant. The space around the house and pool was bigger than we have had. Always plenty of sunny areas, a bits of shade if needed. Couldn't fault it. We had a great time and hope to go back again. Last, the owners were brilliant with us. We got messed up several times by BA. The owners could not have been more supportive or cooperative. Thanks to them.

Beautiful home

We stayed at this lovely property for 10 days and it was everything we hoped for. Very convenient for shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. Albufeira is a short drive away but even taxis are very affordable it was 10 euros for a family of 6. We would fully recommend this property and would even re book in the future. Albufeira is our favourite place to visit and have stayed in a few villas over the years and feel we are a good judge of villas.

Amazing villa!

We loved this villa when looking through the photos, the pool, pool table and ping pong table plus lovely garden, terrace and loungers…we couldn’t fault it! Really spacious with everything you need. Great location too, lovely and quiet locally and a short walk to the beach and places to eat as well as supermarkets close by. We had a great time!

Great villa to get away from it all

Lovely villa with good family/group sized pool. All mod cons, comfortable beds, all amenities need for a holiday home. Cleaning, property manager and pool cleaner all superb. Huge terrace with sun loungers, tables and chairs for eating outside. Pool table well used by our teenager guests. Distance to local beach a little further than expected but still walking distance 15-20 mins. Excellent Italian restaurant, very well priced 5 minutes up the road. Great location to get away from it all, quiet area, car essential to get to bigger beaches, supermarkets (watch out the one in Gale is very expensive) Would recommend this villa.

Perfeito para descansar com a família.

A casa está bem localizada para quem necessita de tranquilidade e descanso com a família. Longe da confusão (mas não muito longe) e com o necessário perto (supermercado, restaurantes e belas praias). A casa tem espaço e diversão suficientes para não se ficar aborrecido. Tem uma boa piscina e muito sol o dia todo. Recomenda-se.
