Enjoying a large plot of land full of beautiful trees, Villa Eris is located just outside the charming village of Prines. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Villa Eris is a great base for a family or friends. An open plan layout offers comfortable and practical living, all in a simple contemporary design. Boasting ping pong, football nets, basketball hoop, tree swing and swimming pool, this villa is calling for you to have a great time.
Villa Eris is located in Prines, just 15 minutes drive from Rethymno town. The villa boasts large grounds of 3500m2 surrounding the house, with olive trees and a grassed area. From the seating area on the main veranda you can enjoy a beautiful sunset and the chirping chatter of birds. The pool area has sunbeds, umbrellas and a barbecue area with seating for 10 people. The spacious house is 240m2.
Ground Floor
Entering the front door, the living space is an open plan area. The air conditioned lounge is a clean, modern space with bright colour accents. With a large comfortable corner sofa, 2 large poufs, 2 armchairs and a coffee table, there is plenty of space to chill out. The 42" Smart TV has Satellite and Netflix to keep you entertained, along with a Playstation 4. A patio door opens onto the front veranda overlooking the pool and provides access to the outdoor seating area with coffee table, chairs and sofa. The indoor dining table with its padded chairs, is situated next to the lounge area, overlooking the pool and outdoor area with large windows, allowing plenty of light and the countryside views to enter into the living space.
The kitchen area is separated from the lounge by a corridor. It is a practical space that allows for comfortable cooking, offering built-in appliances. A door opens onto the front veranda and a window offers garden views. A breakfast bar with 4 high stools creates a comfortable area to get together for drinks or coffee.
The two ground-floor bedrooms are located just off of the living space and share a bathroom. The first bedroom features a king-size bed, which can be converted into two twin beds (0.90 x 2,00) upon request, is air-conditioned, and has a good-sized wardrobe with mirrored doors. A window looks out onto the garden. Next to the bedroom is the ground-floor shower room. This contemporary bathroom has a shower cubicle, vessel sink, and WC. On the other side of the bathroom is the second ground-floor bedroom. This air-conditioned room has a king-size bed (1,80 x 2,00) and a wardrobe. A window looks out to garden views.
First Floor
Stairs lead from the living area to the first floor. The master bedroom will please you with its spacious size, king-size double bed (1,80 x 2,00), air conditioning, 42" Smart TV, and walk-in wardrobe. There is a balcony which offers beautiful views over the local countryside. The ensuite bathroom has a large corner soaker tub with shower, double sink vanity, hairdryer, and WC.
On this floor, there are a further two bedrooms, both of which have twin beds (0,90 x 2,00), air conditioning and a good sized wardrobe. These rooms share a large balcony which has amazing distant sea and country views. The sunset witnessed from this balcony can be truly spectacular.
One bathroom is shared by the two twin bedrooms. Brightly colored, it has a bath with a shower attachment. There are cabinets, a mirror, a sink, and a WC in this well-sized bathroom. Also on this level is a separate utility room with a washing machine.
Outdoor Area
Exiting the house from the lounge area you find yourself on the terrace which overlooks the pool and gardens. There is plenty of comfortable seating here so you can enjoy reading a book or having a chat under shade while still enjoying the outside environment. In the evening it is a relaxing area from which to watch the sun set.
The pool terrace is a good sized space with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Going down a few steps will take you to the 50m2 pool (0,80 - 1,50m), a great size to swim in for pleasure or even for exercise. The pool can also be heated with an additional daily charge (Please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice.)
The glass balcony pool surround means you never deviate from the view of the lovely natural gardens surrounding the house. The barbecue area sits at the side of the pool under the pergola and has a Gas barbecue ana d sink. Here you will find the large outdoor dining area with a table and plenty of seating, perfect for alfresco dining in the warm night air. A separate exterior shower room is also available.
Surrounding the house is a large garden area. You can play football on the grassed area at the front entrance to the house or perhaps shoot a few hoops in the basketball hoop. At the side of the house, the garden becomes more natural and rugged and its here under the shade of the trees that you will find the ping pong table. A picnic bench and tree swing can also be enjoyed. The terrain of the garden has been kept natural for little explorers. Finally, there are 2 driveways at Villa Eris and plenty of room to park more than 2 cars if desired.
**Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR15 per night from April to October and EUR4 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.
