Beautiful little place

Our stay here was excellent. The place was super nice and extremely clean. Good area of town with a nice little place to eat right out side the door. The owners are very hospital and welcoming. Would have loved to stay here a little longer!

LOVED IT!!!

This was one of three VRBOs we stayed at during my trip (one VRBO in each city visited) and was 100% our favorite! Clean, large bedrooms each with its own AC unit! It may have been in the listing and I missed it but the only thing was I didn’t realize it was a 3rd floor walk-up. We made quite the racket dragging our bags up the (stone) stairs but all those stairs were good exercise for how much pizza and cannoli we ate 😁. Shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. I would definitely book here again next time I visit Florence!

Comfortable and clean!

Happy to stay in this lovely apartment! The beds were comfy and the apartment was clean. It was easy to walk to all of our sites in approximately 20 minutes. The pillows were not my favorite and the shower is tiny and only warmish. But the apartment had everything we needed. We felt very safe.

No water, no AC, mosquitos, no hot water

Here are the problems: first night there was no hot water or air conditioning and mosquitoes came in and feasted on us. Second night water was shut off so we had to move out. Leonardo said he’d issue a refund for the next three nights. He hasn’t issued refund yet and it’s 11 days later. So if you want to rent a clean updated apartment a distance from center of town, not be able to flush toilet or take a shower, and subject yourself to a liar, book with Leonardo. Apartment is clean and renovated. He should have met us there to explain how things work.

L'appartement est très confortable, très agréable à vivre après des journées de visite intenses. Cependant, il n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce la difficulté de stationnement lorsque l'on vient en voiture. La cuisine manque d'équipements (saladier, plat allant au four) et le matériel de repassage est détérioré.

Cozy, quiet, comfortable

We stayed one week in this great appartment and it was a nice home-base. Beds are comfortable, quiet at night, can walk into city center or take the bus just around the corner to the train station. Leo the host is responsive, provides good info and even ensured an extra wish. Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful Apartment

Beautiful apartment -very clean, spacious and quiet. We stayed in July during a heat wave and the air conditioning cooled entire apartment. It was very difficult to get a taxi from that location. It was only about a 20 minute walk to tourist attractions but the weather made walking a challenge. I would definitely stay here again when the weather is cooler.

Took my wife to Italy for her bday...first trip to Italy...apartment location was great for us...close enough but far enough from theavy tourist area...steps were a pain but overall great accommodation!

Fantastic flat and neighborhood

We really loved the property. It was exactly what we needed in a quiet area only 12 to 15 minutes by walk to the center. We got all the quiet but were always close to museums, iconic plazas. The owner/manager team was extremely accommodating, even though we were a little chaotic about our roster of family coming. We highly recommend this property over one in the busy, noisy center.

Lovely apartment

We had just come from Rome and had been exhausted and unhappy with our location in Rome. When we got to Florence we were so happy with the Gigliola Apartment, it was lovely clean and the location was good. Its a little bit of a walk into the center but very doable with lots of shops and restaurants on the way. We will definitely stay again when in Florence! The only issue we had was on our last day getting transportation to the airport so I would recommend scheduling it ahead of time. Thank you!

Lovely and off the beaten path

Our visit to Florence was highlighted by our stay in this charming updated apartment. It was quiet, with spacious rooms and the location was about a 10-15 minute brisk walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi areas of town. A cute park 2 blocks away had a nice supply of Bird scooters for east pick up and parking. ***Beware of the clothes dryer…it dries very hot and can shrink clothes quickly. Communication with the owner was challenged initially due to cell service in the area. The wifi in the apartment was speedy and appreciated.

Relaxing retreat from the busy city of Florence.

This is a quiet two bedroom apartment about 10 minute walk to the main attractions of Florence. We enjoyed getting to know Florence on our walks. We had all our questions answered in a timely manner and it was easy to check in. We had a good list of how to enjoy Florence waiting for us at the apartment. We enjoyed out stay and were able to do our laundry.

Great stay in Florence

Nice apartment very well situated and well kept; fairly quiet street and neighbourhood with great restaurants and little coffee shops just around the corner. In walking distance of all major attractions. If you are travelling with heavy luggage, It is situated on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator.

I stayed here with three friends and loved it! The apartment and location were great with easy access to the heart of Florence and a had coffee shops, restaurants, and a grocery store all near by. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderfull

The apartment is beautiful, big and super well located. I loved it! Even better than the pictures, big size and kitchen well equiped with evrithing that you will need all the apliances are new and working well. it is a 10 minutes walking distance to galleria de la academia, 3 minutes to a supermarket. Also plenty of bus stops and a taxi stop at 3 minutes. The beds are comfortable, perfect for our family of 4 but also good for 6 as it has 2 bedrooms. It is complete and has everything you need for a very nice stay. The things I think they need is to add more glasses and an armoire or closet in the second bedroom. I enjoy my stay and I higly recommend it .
