Great place tucked away in the woods with lots of wildlife! very quiet and peaceful by the ocean! lots of space and kitchen is equipped with everything you could ever need and think of! Victoria was great with responding quickly and would definitely recommend staying here and would book again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Seawall. The property was gorgeous and waking up everyday to the sounds of the waves was magical. We stayed with 3 young children and would definitely recommend this property to families!

True gem of a property. The views are amazing. House is timeless and beautiful. Updated fresh linens and a new back deck, new facing the ocean is spectacular. Extremely clean and very well maintained property. The power is a delight and excellent communicator. We love to enjoy the hot tub after a long hike or bike and at sunrise. Looking forward to returning again next year.

We have stayed on MDI several times, and this is by far our favorite home! We absolutely loved our stay. The house was everything we hoped for, with beautiful views, wonderful privacy, a gorgeous deck, and an incredible hot tub. The house was exceptionally clean, and check-in was easy and seamless.We especially loved the fully stocked kitchen and all the thoughtful extras throughout the house. The amazing binoculars and other high-quality items were such a nice touch and really showed how much care went into making guests comfortable. The location was perfect for our MDI adventures while still giving us a peaceful place to come home to.The owner and caretaker were also incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed assistance. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We truly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back for our next MDI adventure!

Beautiful view! We have visited Maine many times and have stayed at various homes in the area. This was a wonderful experience. The home is well-stocked with everything you need. The Seawall location near Southeast Harbor was fantastic and convenient to all the places we enjoy. Thurston’s is close and our favorite place for lobster. Deer were plentiful and the deck was a peaceful place for relaxation. The guest cottage was perfect for our daughter and husband. The caretaker was quick to respond when we had questions. We would love to return to the Ledges some day. Thank you for sharing your lovely property.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

We had such a lovely stay! The deck and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after long days of hiking, and we spotted deer, sea lions, and turkeys! The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, and we couldn't have had a better time.

Another Wonderful Stay

Thanks for another wonderful stay at your beautiful house. Location is great for exploring the "quiet side" of Acadia and the house is very clean and convenient for 6 guests. Being there for the super Sturgeon Moon rising over the water was amazing. We can't wait to go back.

What a peaceful and beautiful location! We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked it again for next year. The house and cottage were perfect for our family of 6 and our dog. The hot tub was a nice bonus at days end. We enjoyed viewing the full moon as it rose over the water and beautiful sunrises. The deer were frequent visitors. The house is beautiful with a homey feel, well equipped and very clean. We loved putting together the jigsaw puzzles and noticed a full array of games and books for every interest. The location was perfect for accessing Bar Harbor (tip- pick up the Island Explorer bus from Hulls Visitor Center to beat the parking fees) as well as hiking all over MDI. Can’t wait to go back.

The house was spacious and well appointed (especially the kitchen which we appreciated because we do a lot of cooking). The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The setting was private and quiet. The view of the water was spectacular. This was a great location to enjoy all Acadia has to offer.

Seawall Retreat

Lovely retreat with excellent views! Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and cookware needed to make meals. Plenty of room for a family of four to each have their own space. We would stay here again if we are visiting Acadia in the future.

Incredible views and so peaceful

The minute you walk into the home, you can feel that this is a well loved family home. It is a quiet secluded spot of paradise, central to Southwest Harbor and numerous hiking trails. We had such a lovely time again in this beautiful home - with its comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and stunning views. Thank you again for another wonderful stay, we cannot wait to return next year.

dream come true rental

So rare that a property exceeds expectations. What an absolutely gorgeous spot—well appointed, clean, seamless check in, attention to small gestures like new bedding and big fluffy towels. Cannot recommend this house and the proprietors highly enough.

Beautiful retreat

As others reviews mention, pictures don't do it justice. Lovely, quiet retreat, easy drive to SW Harbor and Acadia. We had a fantastic time. (Friendly suggestion: couches could stand to be replaced).

Erich, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. I was there with my family a couple of weeks before you and we all agree that the couches have come to the end of their very long lives. The good news is that a new sectional is on order, but won't be delivered until winter some time. Better seating next year! Victoria

Great location, wonderful ocean views

Quaint older style cottage(s) located near Seawall. Lots of wildlife (saw deer multiple times per day). About a 15 minute walk to Seawall, 10 minutes to the General Store. Bonus that each room has their own bathroom. Hot tub on deck was nice to use in the evenings after long, active days in the Park.

The best

Everything about this house speaks of the sea, from the ocean outside your door to the knick knacks. The location is private but close enough to bass harbor and southwest harbor to be convenient. Makes you feel like youve been summering here forever!

View from the deck was amazing. Location 20 minutes to Bar Harbor. Wonderful trails everywhere. Charlotte’s lobster right around the corner. Seriously- watch for the deer right around there!

This was our second time at the property. We really enjoyed our stay. There is a beautiful view of a working harbor with excellent sunrise views right in front of you. The proximity of all good things on the “quiet side” is convenient. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is equipped for a cooking if you choose. The property and setting is private and quiet. I think the deer remembered us from last year!We look forward to returning as our schedules permit.

MDI Fall visit

Visited for our anniversary and wife's birthday. Beautiful setting. Peaceful surroundings. Greeted almost every morning by deer in the yard. Convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor but can escape the crowds. Definitely would return and recommend!
